The Rawlings 242J is a youth wood baseball bat. The 242J is made from the strong and durable Northern White Ash. This bat comes with a flame tempered finish to give it a nice smooth and comfortable feel and a great look with a Natural color and a blue pro ring with black stamping. This bat features a 2 ¼ inch barrel in diameter. This bat has a rolled end which adds strength and durability to the bat. Approximate -7 to -9 length to weight ratio. The 242J is approved by all youth leagues and organizations. This bat is great for practice or games. You can use this bat for practice instead of your high dollar metal bat.
