Pros: Slightly end loaded, which is nice for power hitters. Traditional knob helps hold on. I've hit with this bat in over 80 at bats and it hasn't broken yet. The durability is amazing for a wood bat. I would highly recommend this bat to power hitters.

Cons: This bat is not for players just beginning to use wood bats. Only for experienced wooden bat users.

Pros: great pop and good feel off the bat. looks slick and professional.

Cons: had it for a week using it everyday in high school games, then one game it just broke, the ball hit the barrel of the bat and the barrel nearly hit the third baseman. we caught it on video and I did in fact hit it on the sweet spot. this was probably a manufacturing malfunction.

Power Sean player

Pros: I have this bat for the summer college showcase tournaments that are wood bat only. Ive been jammed on 82-86 mph pitching without this bat snapping. Not only that but this bat has a decent sized sweetspot and good trampoline feel for a wood bat. Has very minor taper and a slight end load. Many kids i play with swing Maruccis and $200 Chandlers and not only has this outlasted them and out performed them, it is significantly cheaper.

Cons: Gave finish 4 stars b/c the handle portion of the finish is glossed over so i had to sand it off but thats just personal preference and has to be done to most wood bats.

Where do I face the label if there is no ink dot? h00siers
With wood bats, we always recommend facing the label on the bat up or down when swinging. You will want to make contact with the ball on an area of the bat with no label on it. The ink dot is there just to prove the quality of the wood, so it would not affect the direction you face the bat.
Kelby

The SSK Robinson Cano Maple Wood Bat (RC24) Natural/Black Adult would be a good choice bat for you as long as you get the right length. Does BWP bats still make SSK bats? batman
SSK Baseball is a Japanese owned company and there is definitely a possibility that SSK may contract out to bat companies in America so that they can have some production sites in the US. I would suggest giving BWP a call at (814) 849-0089 or send them an email at the bottom right corner of their homepage at www.bwpbats.com. They will definitely be able to help out with giving you a more complete answer!
Ben
Which bat does Robinson Cano actually use in games? This SSK or the Sam bat? Brian
Robinson Cano has switched around between the SSK Robinson Cano Maple Wood Baseball Bat (RC24 Natural/Black Adult) and the Sam Bat.
Jake
I am 16 years old and I am 6 foot 1. What is best for my age? Also, what is the difference between a 271 turn and I13 turn models? bradtomcat27
Rather than one bat being the best for your age and size, the preference on wood bats like the SSK Robinson Cano Pro Maple Wood Baseball Bat (RC22 Black/Natural/Gold) would be based more on the feel of the bat that you like. That would depend on if you like a balanced or end-loaded model, handle shape, barrel length, etc. The I-13 features very similar dimensions to the 271. The big difference is that the taper of the bat is more extreme, so it will have more of an end loaded swing feel than the 271 turn. The I-13 is a popular choice among power hitters who are looking for more mass in the barrel.
Patrick
Does this bat have a warranty? dez
The SSK Robinson Cano Pro Maple Wood Baseball Bat (RC22 Black/Natural/Gold Adult) does not come with a warranty.
Frankie

Jason
How many inches is the bat that Robinson Can uses ? A 32.5 or 33 or 34?? PJ
Unfortunately I am not able to find out exactly what size bat Robinson Cano swings in the games. Sorry about that!
Carter
How will this bat compare to the Old Hickory Mike Trout MT27M Adult bat? spencer
This SSK Robinson Cano Pro Maple Wood Baseball Bat (RC22 Black/Natural/Gold Adult) will feature a slight end-load on it due to its long barrel length. Since the MT27M features those same qualities, I would compare the bats very similarly.
Ben
I am 5'7", 131 pounds and bat cleanup. Would you recommend this bat, the Old Hickory MT27, Marucci JB19 or a Chandler CC13A or something different? Also, what length would you recommend? Kevin
Based on your height and weight, we would recommend getting a 31 or 32 inch bat. With wood bats, there are many different handle sizes, differences in how the bat is tapered and knob construction. This makes picking a wood bat much more of a "feel" than anything else. With that said, the Marucci JB19 is a very popular model because of the balanced swing weight deign and the 15/16 inch handle diameter. The Old Hickory MT27 will have more of an end-loaded design as will the SSK Robinson Cano Pro Maple Wood Baseball Bat: RC22 Black/Natural/Gold Adult.
Cameron
How is this different from Louisville Slugger Prime C271? joe
The Robinson Cano model will have a slightly larger barrel (2.53" vs 2.5") than the C271, as well a traditional knob with the Cano vs a medium flared knob on the C271.
Kyle J.
I'm 18 years old, 5'9'' and about 200 pounds. What bat and size bat do you recommend? I love the feel of a 29/32 traditional handle. ozzie
The SSK Robinson Cano Pro Maple Wood Baseball Bat: RC22 Black/Natural/Gold Adult Would be a great choice if you like the 29/32 inch handle. Based on your height and weight, we would recommend a 33'' bat.
Tori
I am looking for a balanced wood bat. Does this bat have a balanced weight distribution? efrom13
The SSK Robinson Cano Pro Maple Wood Baseball Bat: RC22 Black/Natural/Gold Adult features a slightly end loaded swing weight. It is not a balanced bat. I recommend taking a look at the SSK Professional Edge Javier Baez Maple Wood Baseball Bat: JB9 which will feature a balanced weight distribution.
Carter
Is the Cano model for SSK similar to the AP5 of Marucci? Nick
AP5 bats from Marucci are usually pretty balanced. The Cano is also pretty decently balanced in its feel too. If you enjoy the AP5, I think you will enjoy swinging this SSK Robinson Cano Pro Maple Wood Baseball Bat (RC24 Black/Natural/White Adult) too.
