I'm 77 yrs old, 5'7" 135 lb singles hitter. Now using 34/26 Miken NRG. Any recommendation?
The 2013 DeMarini Rayzr: DXRZX Slow Pitch is an end loaded bat, better suited for a power hitter. A good balanced slow pitch bat is the 2013 DeMarini The One Senior Softball: DXSNS Slow Pitch.
I have used the 375 for years and LOVE the bat. Is this bat comparable in quality? I used the Distance and feel that is not as good.
Like the DeMarini 375, the 2013 DeMarini Rayzr: DXRZX Slow Pitch bat is also a one-piece, doublewall alloy bat. It will have similar pop to the 375, but I feel the Rayzr feels just a little more endloaded.
Hi there! Which one of your bats is comparable to the Demarini 2x distance doublewall c405. Also, how does the new Rayzr compare to the Demarini's of 97 thru 2001.Thank you very much for your expert answers!
The two DeMarini bats that will most resemble the c405 will be the 2013 DeMarini Rayzr: DXRZX Slow Pitch and the 2012 DeMarini Bruiser: DXBSP Slow Pitch. They will both be Alloy designs with a slight end load. They will have the N2M End Cap and Rotation Index as well. They will require no break-in period. The 2013 DeMarini Rayzr will have the new USSSA and ASA stamps. The newer model bats compared to the bats of the late 90's will have better materials that will be able to last longer and won't crack or dent as easily. The overall performance of the newer bats will be better and more consistent than those of old.
