If I am a smaller player (about 5'3 115) is this bat right for me? If not, which bat should I use?

I have the CF5 and was a doubles and triples guy last season, I've put on 25 pounds in the offseason and trying to turn those doubles into homeruns, would this bat make enough of a difference from the CF5 to buy it?
The end load design of the 2013 DeMarini Voodoo BBCOR: DXVDC would best suite someone with above average swing speeds. If your bat speed has increased along with the mass increase, they you could justify making the switch.

The 2013 DeMarini Voodoo BBCOR: DXVDC Adult was made with higher grade alloy and composite materials than those used in the 2012 DeMarini Voodoo BBCOR bat.
I'm stuck between the Voodoo and the RIP-IT Air. I know they are both great bats, but I have heard that the RIP-IT has broken a lot in last years model. I wonder if this years will do the same, especially since I live in upper PA. Thanks!
The 2013 DeMarini Voodoo BBCOR: DXVDC Adult bat and the 2013 RIP-IT Prototype BBCOR AIR: B1303A Adult bat will perform equally. Any composite or alloy bat will be at increased risk of breaking in temperatures below 55 degrees.

The 2013 DeMarini Voodoo BBCOR: DXVDC Adult and the 2013 DeMarini CF5 BBCOR: DXCFC Adult are going to perform very similar. The Half and Half Technology in both bats will make you more powerful.
Hey, I am debating on whether I should get this bat, or the 2013 Cf5. I am more of a power hitter. So which bat do you recommend?
The 2013 DeMarini Voodoo BBCOR: DXVDC Adult bat would be more beneficial to a power hitter that can create his own bat speed. If you need any help with swing velocity go with the CF5. Otherwise, the 2013 Voodoo sounds like the choice for you. It will feature that barrel heavy, end load that the power hitters love. Plus, the all alloy barrel will not require any sort of break-in period.

How does the 2013 DeMarini Voodoo rate when it comes to pop, end load, and break in time compared to the 2011 DeMarini white Voodoo, or the DeMarini 2012 black Voodoo?
All three DeMarini models will have a slight endload. The 2013 DeMarini Voodoo DXVDC has a higher quality X10 alloy and a higher quality TR3 F.L.O composite handle for better durability. The Voodoo's have alloy barrel so no break-in time is required.
Do I have to break in the 2013 DeMarini Voodoo BBCOR bat?
No. The DeMarini Voodoo BBCOR has an alloy barrel so it will not require break-in.
Hi! my son is interested in this bat and I am planning on getting it for him. I need to know what size. He is 5'6" and about 135-140 pounds. He works out a lot and doesn't have any fat so he is very strong. His hitting instructor said if he can swing a 33" he should, but if he can't, then not to. He has used both a 33" and a 32" and did well with both. He felt more comfortable with the extra inch on the 33". Keep in mind he is very strong and can get around with both.
The 2013 DeMarini Voodoo BBCOR: DXVDC Adult bat is a great model. This bat does have an end loaded swing weight to it. It will feel barrel heavy. Power hitters tend to love this bat. If he has never swung an end loaded bat before I would buy the 32". If he has, and is familiar with the swing weight and feel then you could bump it up to the 33". Using the Bat Coach feature on www.JustBats.com I was able to determine that at his height and weight a 31"-32" was recommended. Since it sounds like he can create his own bat speed then going up to the 33" should not be a problem. Just make sure he is familiar with the Voodoo's end loaded feel.
Hi! What is the difference between the 2012 Voodoo and the 2013?
The 2013 DeMarini Voodoo uses a higher grade of alloy that will add more durability compared to the 2012 Voodoo.
Hi! What is the difference between the 2012 Voodoo and the 2013?
The 2013 model features a new TR3 F.L.O. composite handle that is stronger and more durable than the 2012 model.
I'm a collegiate player at the D1 level. My wood just broke and I need a new one. Any recommendations on a wood bat that resembles the same weight balance as the Voodoo?
The DeMarini Pro Maple Composite Wood Bat: DX243 Adult will feel very similar to the 2013 DeMarini Voodoo BBCOR: DXVDC Adult. It is slightly end loaded like the Voodoo.
Hello. I'm 15, about 5'9 and 140. Would you recommend a 32/29 or a 33/30? Also, what is better between the DeMarini Voodoo and the Easton S1? Thanks!
Based on your height and weight we recommend a 32" bat. Both the 2013 DeMarini Voodoo BBCOR: DXVDC Adult and the Easton S1 have great pop. The 2013 DeMarini Voodoo BBCOR: DXVDC Adult will be more end loaded and stiffer than the Easton S1. The Easton S1 is very balanced and provides a lot of flex. The Voodoo will be hot out of the wrapper and the Easton S1 will require a break-in period.
Since the CF5 has a better bat swing compared to the Voodoo, would it give a power hitter more pop off his bat since he's swinging harder?
An end loaded bat like the 2013 DeMarini Voodoo BBCOR: DXVDC would generate more power.
Which do you recommend for a 15 yr. 6'150 lb. power hitter that hits better with a wood bat- new CF5 or new Voodoo?
The 2013 DeMarini Voodoo BBCOR: DXVDC is an end loaded bat, better suited for a power hitter. The 2013 CF5 is more balanced, better for suited for a player that needs bat speed.
Would this bat or the Omaha Balanced be better suited for a power hitter?
The Louisville Slugger TPX Omaha is going to be a one-piece bat which is preferred by power hitters, but the DeMarini Voodoo is an end loaded, which is also preferred by power hitters.
What is the difference, besides color, between this bat and the Limited Edition Voodoo?
The 2013 DeMarini Voodoo BBCOR and the 2013 DeMarini Voodoo BBCOR Limited Edition are the same bat. The only difference is the color scheme and paint job.
Would you rather have the 2013 DeMarini Voodoo or DeMarini CF5?
Both bats will be extremely high performing. The main difference is DeMarini Voodoo will be a two-piece hybrid design, whereas the DeMarini CF5 will be a two-piece fully composite bat. Another important factor to consider is the DeMarini Voodoo will be end loaded and the 2013 DeMarini CF5 will be a balanced model.
What is the difference between the 2013 DeMarini Voodoo and the 2012 model?
The 2013 DeMarini Voodoo uses upgraded alloy for added performance and durability compared to the 2012 model.
Is the 2012 model the same except for graphics
There were no major changes to the Voodoo model. Demarini of course works on durability and pop off the bat from year to year, but the paint scheme is the biggest change. Here is the link to view more details on the 2013 Voodoo. http://www.justbats.com/product/2013-demarini-voodoo-bbcor--dxvdc-adult/15470/
Is this the most top heavy of the bbcor demarini bats and if not which one is?
Out of all the 2013 DeMarini BBCOR bats, I would say the Voodoo will feel the most endloaded.
How would you compare this bat to the RIP-IT Prototype BBCOR Air for the performance and price?
The 2013 DeMarini Voodoo BBCOR and the 2013 RIP-IT Prototype BBCOR Air will be very high performing. However, the RIP-IT will be more stiff and balanced than the DeMarini Voodoo.
What is the price going to be of two of these bats in a bat pack?
The 2013 DeMarini Voodoo BBCOR: DXVDC won't be eligible for a bat pack until next year. I would recommend contacting us again next spring or summer.
My son is about to turn 13 this weekend. He is a big boy 5'10" and 165 lbs. Currently using EXOGRID2 32" drop 5. He really wants a BBCOR bat and loves the Voodoo although he has never swung one. What do you think about a kid getting a jump on BBCOR and going from drop 5 to drop 3?
The 2013 DeMarini Voodoo is slightly end loaded, and might be a bit heavy for a player making the transition to a BBCOR bat. We recommend the 2013 DeMarini CF5. It will be more balanced like the EXOGRID2.
My son is 5'10" and 160 pounds. He's only 14 and is growing stronger and more muscular because he works out daily. He has a killer swing, hitting "outta the park" ers every other game. Which size would you suggest for him?
Based on his size, a 32" Adult BBCOR model is recommended.
My son is 6' 1" and weighs 150 lbs. He has a quick swing. Last year he used a 31" 28 oz. and now needs a bigger bat. Should he transition to a 32" or move up to a 33"?
The recommended size for his height and weight is a 33" 30 oz. BBCOR DeMarini Voodoo: DXVDC.
In my first year using a drop 3 what bat would be better. The 2013 voodoo or the 2013 CF5?
The 2013 CF5 is the most balanced, better for a player making the transition to a BBCOR bat.
I'm 13 and 5'9 and 133 lbs. I hit 2 with contact and some power. What size would fit me best?
Based on your height and weight, a 32" model would be recommended.
im 16 years old 5'8'' 155 lbs going into my sophomore season. i normally bat 4th or 5th so i have good power and a fast swing speed. would you say that the voodoo 2013 is good for me or would you recommend something else that would suit me better?
2013 DeMarini Voodoo BBCOR: DXVDC Adult bat has a slight endloaded feel which makes it a great choice for stronger hitters. It would be an excellent option for you.
Does this voodoo swing any lighter than last years or is it still pretty heavy?
The 2013 DeMarini Voodoo will be very similar in swing weight to last years model.
my son is 5 9 140 hes more of a singles hitter or contact hitter. Is this bat right for him?
The Voodoo has a slight endload to it. For a player with average to below average swing speed and strength, it may not be the best option. A similar bat with a lighter swing weight is the Easton S2.
My son is 13yrs old- approximately 105 lbs, 5'5 or so. Pretty strong kid. I think they say he needs 31 in for size and at 14 the regulations are for -5 bat. He is not a huge power hitter but definately base hitter and looking for a bat that will give him extra power/pop. What would you recommend? Composite? Anything else that will help us in bat selection? He was used to hitting with a -8 so I'm a little worried about going to -5. Thanks
For bats, with a -5 length to weight ratio, the Marucci CAT5 PREBCOR would have the most even weight distribution which would make the bat feel lighter. The highest performing bats with a -5 length to would be the DeMarini Voodoo, Easton XL series, the Anderson NanoTek, or the Metalstorm White Dragon.
Is the 2013 Voodoo more top heavy than the 2012 Voodoo? Which one would I be able to generate more bat speed with?
The 2013 DeMarini Voodoo BBCOR is more end loaded than the 2012 DeMarini Voodoo BBCOR. The 2012 Voodoo would generate more bat speed.
I'm 6'3 210 and hit for power. Is this bat right for me?
Bats that are end loaded like the 2013 DeMarini Voodoo would be great for a power hitter.
Is this the same bat as the Black one, or is it just a different color?
The 2013 is basically the same model as the 2012 with a new paint scheme. They do generally try to work on durabilty and pop from year to year, but biggest change is paint scheme.
Im 15,5'8, and 160 pounds. What size bat should I get?
Based on your height and weight, a 32" BBCOR model is recommended.
Since this bat is a stiff hybrid does that mean its a lot stiffer than the other bats in DeMarini's 2013 line?
The 2013 DeMarini Voodoo BBCOR and the DeMarini M2M BBCOR will be the stiffest two-piece bats in DeMarini's 2013 line.
The guy who reviewed the bat in the video said it was re-certified what does this mean?
In the 2012 DeMarini Voodoo BBCOR video Ryan was just making sure to highlight that this 2013 model of the DXVDC was re-certified to meet the BBCOR certification standards. The construction defers a bit from the 2012 model.
since the voodoo has TR3 F.L.O. Composite in the handle does that give it more of a stiff handle and trampoline effect? with less flex? Which DeMarini has the least flex?
The composite handle in the DeMarini Voodoo will make the handle stiff and help to give it more pop. All the two-piece DeMarini bats will have similar flex.
Would this be a good bat for a contact hitter going into middle and high school?
The 2013 Voodoo has a slight endload feel, great for players with good swing speed. If you have average or below average swing speed, the DeMarini Vexxum may be a better choice.
I just got this bat how can I prolong the life of my new bat?
Our Bat Resource Guide has some helpful information: http://www.justbats.com/bat-resource-guide/bat-care/
Which baseball bat is better the 2012 Voodoo or the 2013 Voodoo?
The 2013 DeMarini Voodoo BBCOR and the 2012 DeMarini Voodoo BBCOR are excellent bats. The 2013 DeMarini Voodoo BBCOR uses newer technology for better durability and performance. However, it is slightly end loaded.
Which is better for hitting for both contact and power? The DeMarini CF5 or the DeMarini Voodoo?
The DeMarini CF5 and the DeMarini Voodoo will both allow you to hit for average and power. The CF5 is a two-piece fully composite bat and the Voodoo is a two-piece hybrid design. Here is a link to further compare the two bats. http://www.justbats.com/compare/
I am 16 years old, 5'7" tall and weigh about 165 lbs. I am more of a contact hitter, but I can also hit for power. What bat do you think I should swing?
If you are more of a contact hitter and you like DeMarini's I would go with the 2013 DeMarini CF5 because it is more balanced and will also have great pop if you have some power.
What is the difference from this years model as to last years?
The 2013 DeMarini Voodoo features new TR3 F.L.O. Composite in the handle and X10 Alloy in the barrel. Here is a link to further compare the two models. http://www.justbats.com/compare/
How is the bat weighted?
The 2013 Demarini Voodoo BBCOR will have a slight end loaded feel to it. The 2013 DXVDC will be most appropriate for players looking for some extra power behind their swing.
Could you please describe in detail what type of hitter this bat is fit for?
The 2013 DeMarini Voodoo BBCOR is an end loaded two-piece bat. Best suited for a contact hitter with power.
Hi, I am 15 years old, going into 10th grade , I am 185lbs and 5'8, I am also a line driver hitter with some power, would this bat be right for me? And what size? I also need to work on my bat speed
I would recommend a 33" bat for a player of your size. The 2013 DeMarini Voodoo BBCOR: DXVDC is endloaded making it more geared for a power hitter. Because you are more of a line drive hitter, you should consider the 2012 DeMarini Voodoo or the 2012 or 2013 DeMarini CF5. Those bats won't be endloaded.
I am 14, going into 8th grade, 5'4" and weigh around 164 lbs. When I connect with the ball it flies but I am still working on my swing. Is the Voodoo 31/26 correct for me?
Yes the 2013 DeMarini Voodoo: DXVD5 would be a great fit for you. You will need to get a new bat once you get into high school because you have to a BBCOR certified bat which will have a -3 length to weight ratio.
I am 15 years old, 5'8", 130 lbs, and I hit lead off. I don't have that much power, but I am working on it. I can hit gap shots but mostly singles. I have the Louisville Slugger Z-1000. Which bat would be the best for me? The Easton S1, DeMarini Voodoo, or the Z-1000?
The S1 or the Z-1000 would both be good choices for you, because they both have a balanced swing weight. The S1 is probably the best choice though, because its two-piece design will better suit a contact and gap to gap hitters.
I am a contact hitter with not much power. Is the 2013 DeMarini Voodoo BBCOR better for me or is the 2013 CF5 BBCOR?
The 2013 DeMarini CF5 is a two piece composite and will be more balanced for a contact hitter than the 2013 DeMarini Voodoo.
Should I just buy the 2012 version for less, or does the 2013 have advantages?
The 2013 DeMarini Voodoo has new X10 alloy in the barrel and TR3 F.L.O. composite in the handle. Here is a link to further compare the two models of the DeMarini Voodoo.
i am 13 years old 5 foot 3 and 105 pounds what size bat should i get? im getting the 2013 voodoo
If you are looking for a -3 BBCOR bat, I would recommend a 30" 27oz for a player of your size.
Will the 2013 voodoo be marked down next year like the 2012 voodoo was this year?
Yes. When DeMarini comes out with their 2014 line next summer, the 2013 models should reduce in price.
I'm more of a balanced hitter... I can hit home runs but get mostly line drive singles or doubles.. 2012 DeMarini Voodoo or 2013 DeMarini Voodoo
The 2013 DeMarini Voodoo and the 2012 DeMarini Voodoo feature different aluminum in the barrel and different composite material in the handle. Here is a link to compare the different models. http://www.justbats.com/compare/
I am a contact lead-off hitter, and I don't really have any power. I had the 2012 voodoo and it had the perfect end load for me but was almost too much. Is this 2013 model for me or not?
The 2013 DeMarini Voodoo BBCOR is more end loaded than the 2012 model. The end load will most likely be too much for you in the 2013 model.
I'm trying to buy a new bat, and I was trying to decide whether or not to go with the 2013 CF5, or Voodoo. I am more of a power hitter and I wanted to know if the CF5 would be better than the Voodoo.
The 2013 DeMarini Voodoo is an end loaded bat, better suited for a power hitter. The DeMarini CF5 is more balanced.
I've swung the 2012 model of the Voodoo and it didn't really feel that end loaded. I'm a contact hitter, but I found that anywhere I hit on the Voodoo it had amazing pop. Is this bat more end loaded then the 2012 model though? And would it slow someone's swing down by a lot or just a little bit compared to the CF5? I like the Vodoo better though.
The new 2013 DeMarini Voodoo BBCOR is more end loaded than the 2012 Voodoo and the CF5. I should not slow your swing down significantly.
My club team is making us switch to BBCOR and I am 12 years old 5 foot 1 and 106lb. I prefer an end loaded feel and can hit for power or for contact. Would the 2013 Voodoo be a good choice and should I stay with a 32 inch?
The 2013 DeMarini Voodoo is slightly end loaded, perfect for a contact hitter with power. We would recommend a 31" Voodoo.
What is better for -3 the Voodoo 2013 or the CF5 2013?
This really depends on the type of hitter you are. The 2013 DeMarini Voodoo BBCOR will be more end loaded than the CF5 BBCOR. If you have some power, we recommend the 2013 DeMarini Voodoo BBCOR.
I don't have the fastest swing. I am debating between the Voodoo and the Rawlings 5150 Velo. What should I do for more of a linedrive contact hitter?
Either the 2013 DeMarini Voodoo BBCOR: DXVDC Adult or the Rawlings 5150 Velo would be great for a contact hitter due to their balanced swing weight.
Are all BBCOR bats slightly top heavy?
There are some BBCOR bats that are slightly top heavy, but there are a number of BBCOR bats that are balanced and not top heavy.
Would this be a good bat for a power hitter? If not, what DeMarini would be for me?
Normally end loaded bats like the 2013 DeMarini Voodoo BBCOR are suitable for power hitters.
Differences between the 2013 DeMarini Voodoo and the 2012 version? Thanks
The 2013 DeMarini Voodoo was made with an updated alloy material and has a slight end loaded feel to it. Other than that, it is just a newer bat with newer graphics.
I'm a contact hitter weighing 130 lbs and am 5'5. With 300 dollars would a choice of the 2013 Voodoo or 2012 CF5 be better for me? What weight do you feel is appropriate as well?
Based on your height and weight, I would probably suggest going with a 31-32 inch bat. Also, since both the Voodoo and the CF5 are two-piece bats, either one would be a great option for a contact hitter.
For a contact hitter should I use this or the 2013 Nike MC2?
Either the DeMarini Voodoo or the Nike MC2 would be a great choice for a contact hitter. Since both bats are two-piece bats, you can't really go wrong with either.
Which is a more balanced bat between the Demarini Voodoo and the Rip-It Prototype II?
The are actually both end loaded. The only difference is the Rip-It is a one piece and the 2013 DeMarini Voodoo BBCOR is a two-piece.
I need a top heavy bat so im wondering if this would be a god choice?
The 2013 DeMarini Voodoo BBCOR: DXVDC Adult has a slight end load, making it a good choice if you are looking for something a little top heavy.
People are saying this bat is a little end loaded, I'm a contact hitter and my first year of high school is next year. I want a bat that has great pop but won't be to heavy to slow down my swing. Would the CF5 be a better choice for me?
If you are looking for a balanced bat, then the DeMarini CF5 would be a great choice for you to consider. The 2013 DeMarini Voodoo does have a slight end loaded feel to it, so if you are not used to this kind of bat it will take some getting used to.
Which bat would be for a 5ft 7in contact hitter with power? This one the Marrucci Black or the Vertex?
The 2013 DeMarini Voodoo is a two piece bat that is slightly end loaded, perfect for a contact hitter with power.
should i get yhr 2013 demarini or the easton oman
Both are going to be great bats. The Voodoo is going to have a alloy barrel with a composite handle. It will have some of the best pop out of all the alloy barreled bats on the market. This bat will also have great durability.
Which bat would be better for a contact hitter with some power, the Exogrid2, Voodoo, or the CF5?
Two piece bats like the 2013 DeMarini Voodoo are preferred for contact hitters. Because the 2013 DeMarini Voodoo is end loaded it would be perfect for a contact hitter with power.
My son is 13 years old, 5 foot 3 and weighs about 130 lbs. He plays in the Little League JR division. He is mostly a power hitter but has been in a slump the last few weeks, not even getting a hit. He wants the DeMarini Voodoo but is this the bat he should get or would a one-piece fit his style better? Whats the difference between the Voodoo and Vexxum? It has to be BBCOR either way.
Most power hitters with quick bat speed prefer a one-piece bat and most contact hitters prefer a two-piece bat. Whether your son wants a one-piece bat or two-piece bat really comes down to his bat speed and what kind of hitter he is. The 2013 DeMarini Voodoo BBCOR bat has a slight end loaded feel to it and is a two-piece hybrid design. The 2013 DeMarini Vexxum BBCOR bat is also a two-piece hybrid design but has a different type of composite in the handle compared to the DeMarini Voodoo. Hey, I am 5'8 and I am line drive and sometimes power hitter. I was wondering what to get, between the new Voodoo, CF5 and also the M2M. Thanks if you can help:)
The 2013 DeMarini Voodoo would be a great choice. The two piece, slightly end loaded construction, would be a great choice for a contact hitter with power. The CF5 is going to provide the most flex, and the M2M will be the stiffest out of all three bats.
I'm a gap to gap hitter who is 5'9" 160 lbs., and I am looking at trying to move up in size from a 32", would it be smart to jump straight to the 33" or go to a 32.5"?
At 5'9" 160 lbs, moving right into a 33 inch model would be just fine. That is the recommended size for you and will not be too dramatic of a jump up.
Does the 2013 DeMarini Voodoo BBCOR have better pop than the 2012 DeMarini Voodoo BBCOR?
Both will use top of the line alloy and will have great pop. The 2013 DeMarini Voodoo BBCOR will feel more end loaded than the 2012 Voodoo.
I'm looking at the Demarini Voodoo but I don't know if I should get it or the new Demarini Vexxum. I'm about 5'1 and 100lbs and I'm more of a contact, line drive hitter, than a power hitter. Any suggestions?
Both are great bats. The Voodoo will have a little more of an end loaded feel compared to the Vexxum. If you have good swing speed and decent strength, the Voodoo may be a better option. If you do not think you have the strength and swing speed to handle the end loaded feel of Voodoo, then the Vexxum may be a better option.
Is this bat better for contact hitters or power hitters?
Honestly, the Voodoo will be a great bat for either type of hitter. It has a two piece design that contact hitters often like and it has a slight endloaded feel that power hitters often like.
Does this bat require any break-in period?
There is not a break in period for the 2013 DeMarini Voodoo BBCOR. Only composite bats require a break in period.
I am a 5'7" 3rd baseman with a great swing. I have the Marucci Black right now and it seems to be loosing its pop fast. Is the Voodo better than the Marucci Black or Easton S1?
The Voodoo is very similar and will be just about the same as the Marucci Black. The Easton S1, however, has a composite barrel and not an alloy barrel like the Black or Voodoo. The S1 will require a break in, but will get better the more you use it.
I am a 5' 9" and 140 lb contact hitter with some power. I'm looking for a fairly balanced bat with good pop. Is the Voodoo right for me? What other bats near the Voodoo's price range would be right for me?
The Voodoo will have a slight end-loaded feel, but if you're a hitter with some power, it would definitely be a good option. Other bats similar to the Voodoo are the Easton XL2, Marucci Black, and Nike MC2. All would be excellent choices.
I saw that this bat just came out and i was wondering weather or not this bat would be better for me or the 2013 Nike Aero Fuse, i have to stay around $300 for a price, any suggestions? Im more of a contact hitter too
Both the Voodoo and Aero Fuse are great bats. The Voodoo will have a little more of an end-loaded feel. If you are more of a contact hitter, I may lean towards the Aero Fuse as it will have a lighter swing weight.
What's the difference between the 2012 and 2013 models besides the color?
The 2013 DeMarini Voodoo BBCOR is more stiff and end loaded than the 2012 DeMarini Voodoo BBCOR. It also uses new X10 alloy for a stronger, more durable alloy barrel.
I'm looking at this bat because I'm hoping it would add a little extra power behind my contact swing. Or, would you recomend that i go with an S1 instead?
The S1 will have a slightly lighter swing weight than the Voodoo. If you are a contact hitter looking to increase swing speed for more power, the S1 may be a better choice.
What is the difference between the 2013 Voodoo and 2013 M2M??
The Voodoo is a two piece bat with an alloy barrel with composite handle. The M2M is a two piece bat with an alloy barrel and alloy handle.
I'm looking at this bat and an XL3. Which would be best for a power hitter?
Both the 2013 DeMarini Voodoo and the Easton XL3 are great bats. However, if you are looking more for a power hitter, I would probably suggest going with the XL3. This is a one-piece bat with an end loaded feel that is great for power hitters.
I am 14 and 5 foot 5 110 lbs. I am looking at this bat or the Easton S1. Which one would be best for me? I am normally a gap hitter.
If you are normally a gap hitter, either the DeMarini Voodoo or the Easton S1 would be a great choice for you. The main difference between the bats is the Voodoo has an alloy barrel and the S1 has a composite barrel. Both are great bats, and you really can't go wrong with either.
