I bought a 2013 Easton XL2 and played one game with it. Now I feel something wiggling inside it when you shake it. It feels normal besides that. Is this normal for a two piece Easton XL2 or is something wrong with it?

The 2013 Easton XL2: SL13X28 Senior League is legal in the 13-15 Babe Ruth Division. Only bats with a composite barrel must be BBCOR certified. If it is all alloy or has a composite handle and alloy barrel it is legal in the 13-15 Babe Ruth Division.
What is the difference in performance between the Easton XL2 and the DeMarini Voodoo?
The 2013 Easton XL2: SL13X28 Senior League and the 2013 DeMarini Voodoo: DXVDR and DXVD5 will both perform at the same level. The biggest difference between the two is the XL2 is a -8, and the Voodoo comes in a -9 (DXVDR) and a -5 (DXVD5).
I play in (50/70) intermediate league. The Little League rules say if the bat is 2 5/8" barrel it has to be BBCOR. But some people on my team use 2 5/8" barrel that is not BBCOR and get by with it. I just don't want to spend $260 on a bat on not be able to use it. What do you think?
The 2013 Easton XL2: SL13X28 Senior League would not be legal under the 50-70 Division rules which do require the BBCOR certification.

5'0, 105 lbs. Used Easton S2 (30/20) last year. Would 31" be the right length now and if so is jumping from a 20 to a 23 oz. bat to big of a jump?
Based on your size, a 30" or 31" bat is recommended. It's common and completely natural for a player to move up 1-3 oz. with each new bat. If you had good swing speed with your 20 oz. bat, you should be just fine moving up to a 23 oz. bat.
What bat wins? COMbat Grifter vs Easton XL2?
The 2013 Easton XL2: SL13X28 Senior League bat and the COMbat Grifter are both great bat options. The 2013 XL2 is the more popular model. It will have a composite handle and an alloy barrel. It will require no period of break-in. It will have an end loaded, barrel heavy swing weight that power hitters tend to love.

Both the 2013 Easton XL2: SL13X28 Senior League and the 2013 Easton XL1: SL13X18 Senior League will have the same barrel length.

Would this bat in size 31 in / 23 oz be a good fit for a boy playing 12u? He is 5 ft 3 in and weighs 110 lbs. Last year he used a Eason Rival XXL 31/22 with 2 5/8 barrel. He is pull hitter that hit mostly doubles and several home runs last year. I just want to make sure the composite handle will work for someone who is a pull hitter.
It's always recommended a player move up at least 1-3 ounces with each new bat. Since he's been using a 22 oz. Rival with what sounds like good swing speed and power, he should be just fine moving to a 31" 23 oz. XL2. The XL2 is a great bat for any power hitter or pull hitter.
Since this bat has composite material in it, can it be used in early spring with the temperature sometimes below 50 degrees?
As with all composite bats, I advise not using the 2013 Easton XL2: SL13X28 Senior League in temperatures less than 50 degrees.
Would you recommend getting the XL2 or the XL1?
I recommend going to with the Easton XL1, because it will keep its pop longer than the Easton XL2 will.

The 2013 Easton XL2: SL13X28 Senior League bat is a one-piece fully alloy bat. The 2013 Easton XL3: SL13X39 Senior League is a two-piece hybrid bat featuring a composite handle with an alloy barrel. Both bats have extended barrels which are slightly end-loaded for added power. Both of these bats are approved for most Little League divisions.
How does this bat differ from the 2012 version?
The 2013 Easton XL2: SL13X28 Senior League bat has updated composite in the handle called SIC Black Carbon Composite. This composite will be more durable than the IMX composite in the 2012 model.
Which bat has more pop, the XL1 or XL2?
Both the XL1 and the XL2 are USSSA approved and will perform within the parameters that the USSSA certification allows. The XL1 because it has a composite barrel will need to be broken in and will achieve it's peak performance after it has been broken in. The XL2 has an alloy barrel and will be at peak performance level from the very beginning.
What has more power the XL2 -11, or XL2 -8?
Both the -11 and -8 size 2013 Easton XL2: SL13X28 Senior League bats will have the two-piece composite handle and alloy barrel. If you are a strong enough hitter I would say that the -8 will get you more power. The heaviness of the bat will get you more swing velocity through the hitting zone. Just make sure the -8 is not too heavy for you.
Which bat do you recommend? 11 year old, fast hands, choosing between the XL2 -8 (29/19) and the SL3 -9 (30/21). Which bat is going to give him more power? Will both of these bats provide more power than the S3?
I'm not sure what SL3 bat you are referring to, but if he has good power and good swing speed, he will benefit from the endloaded design of the XL2 and will generate more pop with it compared to the S3.

No. The 2013 Easton XL2: SL13X28 is not BBCOR certified. Only Adult bats are eligible for BBCOR certification.

Are there going to be any 2013 Speed series eastons available in a -8? Not sure my son would be able to handle the xl series. He just turned 13 is 5'5" 110 lbs.Consistent line drive/gap hitter with some power.Also considering CF5 or B4 Portent.Probably 31/23 regardless of which bat we choose. Any advice would be appreciated
There will not be any Easton S Series bats produced in a -8. Recommendations always depends on what bat your son has used previously with the most success. My son used the 2012 last year but I want to progress him up to a -5. Is this bat going to be available in a -5 and if not what would be a comparable bat to this one? Swing weight, sweet spot, etc. He hit with it very well last and liked it.
Unfortunately, the XL2 will not be produced in a -5. Only the XL1 and XL3 will be available with that length to weight ratio. Other comparable bats are: Marucci Black: MSB115, DeMarini Vexxum: DXVX5, and DeMarini Voodoo: DXVD5.
My grandson is 5'1"-95 lbs-he used the S2 series last yr-I was wondering if he could move to the XL 2 (-8drop) 0r XL 3 (-9 drop)- he used a 30-20 ratio last year but has grown 7" & gained 15 pounds
If he has good swing speed and strength, then the XL Series would be a good option. I recommend sticking with a two-piece hybrid degsign and going with the XL2 over the XL3.
