I realize Miken claims "this bat will have better durability" but what makes this have better durability? And exactly how much better durability does it have? I know all my old Ultra 2's lasted me less than 150 hits....can I expect more than that out of this one? I'm sure the durability still must not be that great if they offer no warranty on it whatsoever still. I know your not an expert on this particular bat and there's not a ton of reviews on it yet but just looking for your opinion before my purchase, thanks!

I would recommend a 28 oz. bat. The weight of a softball bat is really a personal preference of the player but the most used weight would be 28 oz.
I was told that the 2-piece Utra was a bit more durable. Is there any reason to think this is true?

Some players prefer a two-piece design which will offer more flex. Others prefer the stiffer feel of a one-piece design. So, it all comes down to the player and their preferences.
Just beginning to play Senior ball. I am 6'3", 200 lbs, would you recommend this Senior 2013 Ultra II or the current 2012 Ultra II?
