In our league we are using a 275 compression 40 core ball. Will this bat be stiff enough for this type of ball? If not what bat or bats do you recommend?
The 2014 COMBAT Portent USSSA Slow Pitch Softball Bat (PORSP1) should be fine to use with those type of balls as they are one of the types approved for USSSA play and this bat features USSSA certification.
Has nobody corrected this error yet? Your site describes a slowpitch softball bat as having a youth baseball (1.15 BPF) USSSA stamp. The guy even says it in the video! USSSA Slowpitch uses the 1.20 BPF standard.

Will playing with a 44/525 ball ruin this bat?
Using a 44 COR ball with the 2014 Combat Portent USSSA (PORSP1) may compromise durability as it was designed to hit lower compression balls.
The description lists USSSA 1.15 BPF stamp but the picture has the USSSA 1.20 BPF stamp. Which is correct? I need USSSA 1.20 BPF. Also, how does this compare to the Z-2000 Balanced?
The 2014 COMBAT Portent USSSA (PORSP1 Slow Pitch) will have the USSSA BPF 1.20 stamp. The Louisville Slugger Z-2000 balanced will be a two-piece design. The 2014 COMBAT Portent is a one-piece design. It will be fully composite and feel more stiff compared to the Z-2000 bat.
