My daughter is 12 going to be 13 in few months. Is this bat the right choice for her? She is 113 lbs, 5'3".

The 2014 DeMarini CF6 (DXCFP) is a great option for a player her size. It is a very balanced, high performing bat.

My step daughter is 15. She plays school, summer and travel fastpitch. Her bat speed has begun to slow down for some reason. A girl on her team has this bat and my step daughter loves it and wants one. Would this bat be okay for her even with struggling bat speed?

Yes, the 2014 DeMarini CF6 (DXCFP) Fastpitch has a very balanced swing weight. I would stay away from anything with an end load.

I am looking for a bat for my daughter who is a freshman in high school playing on varsity. Her coach told them that a composite bat is the way to go but I don't know which kind to buy. My daughter had just recently hyper-extended her elbow and is playing in a brace now and previously used a 33 inch 21 ounce aluminum bat. She is 5'6 and weighs about 165. Would this be the right kind of bat with a 33 inch and 23 ounce or would the 2 ounce difference effect her swing?

The 2014 DeMarini CF6 (DXCFP) is a very high performing composite bat. It is a very balanced bat. However, due to her recent injury we would recommend the 2014 DeMarini CF6 (DXCFS) in a 33" 22 oz.

I'm looking at this bat for my daughter. She is 5'4" 100 lbs. freshman in high school. Wondering what size & if this or the sprite model would be better?

The 2014 DeMarini CF6 (DXCFP) is the correct drop for her height and weight. We recommend a 32" 22 oz. for her size.

I am 6'0 and I am looking at this bat in a 34"24. the bat that I recently have is an old Easton. and im not really getting any type of pop with it. would this be a good bat for me?

The 2014 DeMarini CF6: (DXCFP) Fastpitch will be extremely hot out of the wrapper. The two-piece composite design and double wall construction will make this bat very stiff, and powerful. The sweet spot is also more responsive and will help provide smooth consistent swings. This model is currently top of the line, and its performance will be very noticeable. If you are looking for good pop, this bat will definitely produce results.

My daughter is 15, 5'3 and 200 lbs. What size do you recommend for her?

The size that we would recommend would be a 33" and 23 oz. The 2014 DeMarini CF6 (DXCFP) is a two-piece composite design with a -10 drop. This bat would be a great fit for her.

The 2014 DeMarini CF6 (DXCFP) is a very balanced bat and is designed for a contact hitter. We recommend an end loaded bat for a power hitter such as the 2014 DeMarini CF6 Insane (DXCFI). We recommend a 34" 24 oz.

If my daughter gets this bad and doesn't like it can we return it?

As long as the bat has not been used, an exchange or refund can be completed on our website www.justbats.com. In the top right hand corner there is a link titled "Returns." This will facilitate the proper paperwork that will need to be filled out in order to complete the process. However, if the bat were to become damaged or defective, that process would be handled through the manufacturer.

Is the barrel longer on a 33" vs. the 32"? My daughter has been using the 32" since July of last year when she was 5' 4". Since then, she has grown to 5' 8" and 154 lbs and continues to do very well with the 32". Is it worth it to move up to a 33"

The barrel size on the 2014 DeMarini CF6: DXCFP Fastpitch is proportional to the length of the bat in inches. The barrel size on the 33" will be longer than the 32", but only a fraction of an inch longer. If she is comfortable with the 32" and has been having success, I would stick with the 32". However, it may be worth a step up to the 33" if she is way too far in front of pitches, or missing some on the outside part of the plate.

I'm a slap hitter and was wondering if the CF6 hope bat would be a good bat

The 2014 DeMarini CF6 Hope (DXCFH) Fastpitch is going to have a two-piece composite design which will work really good for players with your hitting style. This model will be very sturdy and the paradox composite material used will provide you with a bigger sweet spot as well. This will be an excellent choice for you.

Do you prefer the CF5 or CF6? im currently hitting with a 33/25 Xeno and I'm thinking of switching

The DeMarini CF5: DXCFF Fastpitch is going to be very similar to the Xeno that you are currently using. Both bats are going to be balanced and have a two piece composite structure. The 2014 DeMarini CF6: DXCFP Fastpitch is also going to be a good choice as well. This model has a stacked double wall construction and will be very sturdy. Our customers have seemed to really like the Demarini CF6.

I am a 50 year old male playing in a competitive modified fast pitch league. I hit the ball very hard and have excellent bat speed, but my goal is for more line drives to the gaps. Any suggestions?

If that is your goal, the 2014 DeMarini CF6 (DXCFP) Fastpitch is a very good option for your style of play!

General question: How do I know if a DeMarini bat is end load or balanced?

In DeMarini's fastpitch bat product line, the only bat that is currently designed with an end load is the 2014 Demarini CF6 Insane (DXCFI). All of the other CF6 models feature very balanced swing weights. But concerning on our site, the bat will likely indicate in the Bat Features section what kind of swing weight the bat offers.

My daughter is 12 and plays middle school ball. She hits a lot of line drives and shots to the outfield. She has been using the CF5 and now it is too small. I do not know whether to get the balanced CF6 or get the CF6 Insane and see how she does with the end loaded bat. What do you think.? She crushes the ball with the normal balanced CF5.

The 2014 DeMarini CF6 (DXCFP) is a balanced bat and is better for a batter that needs to increase their bat speed. The 2014 DeMarini CF6 Insane (DXCFI) is designed for a power hitter. We recommend the DeMarini Insane. It also has a 30 day money back guarantee through DeMarini if she feels the bat doesn't work for her.

I would like to know the difference between the 2014 CF6 DXCFP and the 2014 CF6 DXCFS for my 17 year old daughter?

The 2014 DeMarini CF6 (DXCFP) Fastpitch has a -10 length to weight ratio and the 2014 DeMarini CF6 (DXCFS) Fastpitch has a -11 length to weight ratio. Other than the length to weight ratio and the color scheme the two bats are identical.

My daughter is 5'2" and about 130 pounds. She is also a strong hitter. What bat would you recommend? Balanced bat or end loaded?

If she is more of a contact hitter I would recommend something like the 2014 DeMarini CF6 (DXCFP) Fastpitch bat because it is balanced. If she is more of a power hitter I would recommend something like the 2014 DeMarini CF6 Insane (DXCFI) Fastpitch because it is end loaded.

Thinking of buying the Hope bat. My daughter's batting coach told us she needs 32" -10. What is the different between CF5 and CF6?

The 2014 DeMarini CF6: DXCFP Fastpitch is constructed from DeMarini's newest composite material, the Paradox Composite. This new material expands the sweet spot of the bat which makes it more forgiving on balls that may not be squared up in the middle of the barrel. The CF5 is a very balanced, two-piece composite bat also. But it is made from the TR3 F.L.O. Composite material.

How does this bat compare to the Easton Mako. Does one bat feel lighter than the other?

No, both the 2014 DeMarini CF6: DXCFP Fastpitch bat and the 2014 Easton MAKO will feel very similar in swing weight. One will not feel very much lighter than the other. Both will feature the same two-piece fully composite designs also.

Do you go with this bat or the CF6 Insane? My 12 year old daughter has been using a CF5 for the past 2 years and is ready to move up to 32" 22 oz. What are the down sides of the end load?

The 2014 DeMarini CF6: DXCFP Fastpitch is a very well balanced model, recommended for contact hitters. A balanced model will increase bat speed, which will increase power. An end load is recommended for power hitters who do not struggle with bat speed, as it will put more mass behind an already powerful swing. The end load will swing heavier than other models, which can slow down bat speed in players who are not quite as powerful.

Our daughter just completed her freshman year in high school and is playing on a traveling team for the summer. She is 5'4.5" and 125 lbs. She is an experienced softball player and has been using a 31 inch 21 oz bat this past season. We think her batting issues could include not using the appropriate sized bat. What size bat would you recommend for her size and would you tend to have a player who may need extra hitting practice to use a balanced bat to begin with vs a end weighted bat? We are considering both the 2014 DeMarini CF6 DXCFP and the 2014 DeMarini CF6 DXCFI model bats.

We recommend the 2014 DeMarini CF6: DXCFP Fastpitch for a player who needs to increase their bat speed. The 2014 DeMarini CF6 DXCFI is best suited for power hitters because of its end loaded design.
