What is the manufacturer's expectation on how many break-in swings it takes to reach optimal level? Any advice besides rotating a bit with each practice cut?

The 2014 Louisville Slugger Z-2000 Balanced: SBZ214-UB Slow Pitch features high quality composite that is hot right out of the wrapper. We still recommend 150-200 swings off of a tee or with soft toss before using in a game. Rotating the barrel throughout the life of the bat will help extend its life. Also, avoid playing in temperatures below 55 degrees to help preserve the bat.
