Questions and Answers for 2014 Rawlings Mach: YBMC10 Youth
Is the more compared to the S1 or XL1 by weight distribution?
The 2014 Rawlings Mach: YBMC10 Youth is a well balanced model, most comparable to the design and swing weight of the Easton S1.
How long does it take to break in a Rawlings Mach?
The Rawlings Mach will require a break in since it has a composite barrel. We recommend around 150-200 swings off the tee to help break in the composite fibers. Also, be sure to remember to rotate the barrel of the bat about a 1/4 of an inch every 15-20 swings to help fully break in all the composite fibers.
I heard that the 2013 Machine is discontinued. But this one also looks good. We would like to stay with Rawlings bats. The specs are, except for the weight, almost the same as the Easton S1. What are the differences, between both, which one would you recommend?
The 2013 Rawlings Machine: YBMACH is discontinued. The 2014 Rawlings Mach: YBMC10 Youth and the 2013 Easton S1: YB13S1 are both two-piece composite bats. They both perform very well. If he has had success with Rawlings bats in the past, we recommend using the same manufacturer.
