Questions and Answers for 2014 Rawlings Mach 2 Youth Baseball Bat: YBRMC
How does the 2014 Rawlings Mach 2: YBRMC Youth bat compare to the 2014 Easton S1, S2 & S3? Does this bat require a broken-in period?
The 2014 Rawlings Mach 2 (YBRMC) will be the most similar to the Easton S1. The Easton S2 and Easton S3 will have alloy barrels. Both the Mach 2 and Easton S1 models will be a two-piece composite design. For bats with composite hitting surfaces, we recommend 150-200 hits off a batting tee or soft toss. It’s best to start off at about 40% power, and gradually increase. Also, be sure to rotate the bat a quarter of turn in your hands after every hit.
Other than the weight ratio, is there any difference between the Mach & Mach2?
The durability and the flex in the 2014 Rawlings Mach 2 (YBRMC) Youth Baseball Bat have been improved over the previous model.
