Questions and Answers for 2014 RIP-IT Drop Ten AIR Fastpitch Softball Bat: FP1410
I'm really interested in this bat but for a USSSA slow-pitch league. I realize that this bat is designed for a fast-pitch style play but I always hit better with a bat that's lighter than what's designed for slow-pitch. Is there anything that I should be aware of in using a a fastball bat for slow-pitch?
The 2014 RIP-IT Drop Ten AIR Fastpitch Softball Bat (FP1410) is designed mainly for fastpitch play but I have seen it used in slow pitch as well. If you are looking for a bat that is light weight then this would be a great option.
What are the details with the 30 Day Love It or Return It Program Through RIP-IT? Can we return after using it a few times for full refund?
The 30 Day Performance Guarantee is directly through RIP-IT. If you try any of their bats and are not 100% satisfied with the performance, RIP-IT will buy it back from you. You can find more information on the following link. http://www.ripit.com/returns/
What changes has RIP-IT made with the newly released 2015 Drop Ten and Drop Twelve Air bats over the 2014 models?
Both the 2015 Drop Ten and Drop Twelve Fastpitch models are made from RIP-IT's new R3 Composite. This new composite material is lighter and provides a more responsive barrel than the R2 Composite in this 2014 RIP-IT Drop Ten AIR Fastpitch Softball Bat (FP1410). You can check out more of the specs now by following this link: http://www.ripit.com/fastpitch-bats/.
Would this work to my advantage for a slow pitch ASA softball league?
No, the 2014 RIP-IT Drop Ten AIR (FP1410 Fastpitch) bat would be created for fastpitch softball leagues not slow pitch. If you used it for slow pitch you may not see the same performance as with a true slow pitch bat certified for ASA.
