The 2015 COMBAT Derby Boys G3 Chris Greinert 275 (DBGSP2) Slow Pitch Softball Bat is the "all-associations" version of the Derby Boys lineup and is approved for both ASA and USSSA while the (DBSP5) is only approved for ASA. This model is also offered in half sizes and provides a slightly more end loaded swing weight than the (DBSP5).

We have not seen any feedback to indicate that the 2015 COMBAT Derby Boys G3 Chris Greinert 275 (DBGSP2) has issues with paint cracking more than any other model.

The 2015 COMBAT Derby Boys G3 Chris Greinert 275 Slow Pitch Softball Bat (DBGSP2) is certified for several different leagues and types of ball. However, it would not have optimal durability with the old .44 core 375 compression balls because it is designed for the newer .52 core 300 compression balls.

Is slightly end loaded similar to a balanced bat? I don't like end loaded, so I'm skeptical about this bat. Wcon
The 2015 COMBAT Derby Boys G3 Chris Greinert 275 Slow Pitch Softball Bat (DBGSP2) will have a slightly end loaded feel. That means, it will feel a little barrel heavy during the swing. A balanced bat will not feature this. A balanced model will feel more light weight and provide quicker bat speeds. This bat will have a stiffer feel to it, which power guys will love!

If this is an all association rated bat why it not have optimal durability with 44 core 375 ball? Correct me if I am wrong, doesn't USSSA still use the 44 core 375? heychumlee
No. USSSA does not use a .44 core 375 ball. They use the Classic M (.40 CORE 325 compression) or Classic M+ (.52 CORE 275 compression) balls. The .44 core 375 balls are the old ASA models that are no longer in production. Many leagues still have them stockpiled or left over from previous years so they still use them but they are harder than the currently produced and sanctioned ASA balls which are .52 core 300 compression. If you hit newer stamped ASA bats with these older,harder balls, it can cause damage.
