VERY PLEASED! SILVER BULLET BASEBALL coach

Pros: I'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR A NICE BAT FOR MY 7 YEAR OLD THAT DOESN'T BREAK THE BANK. THIS IS IT! THE SWEET SPOT IS HUGE AND HAS A GREAT SOUND WHEN THE BALL IS HIT. THIS HAS REALLY MADE ME A FAN OF ALUMINUM BATS AGAIN. MY BOY WAS SWINGING A GREEN COMBAT PRIOR, WHICH I WASN'T HAPPY WITH AT ALL! OVERPRICED FOR PERFORMANCE. I DIDN'T RATE DURABILITY BECAUSE WE'VE ONLY HAD IT FOR TWO TOURNAMENTS.

Big Bat, Fast Swing, Line Drive Machine 7U Allstar Coach and S3 Fan coach

Pros: Bought S3 for my son as an Allstar reward for playing his best. He absolutly lives swing this bat and can really turn on the ball. Mostly hits line drives with this very well balanced bat. Also, best player on team uses my son's S3 bat after hitting it several times in batting cage.

Cons: Paint will scuff, but that is the nature of playing baseball.

I'm looking for a good bat for my 7 year old. He wants a big barrel. He would like a 27 in and 16 oz size. Would this bat work? Do you have more suggestions? Michelle

This Easton S3 Junior Big Barrel Baseball Bat (JBB15S3) is currently available in the 27"/17 oz size. That will make the model one ounce heavier than what you are exactly seeking in a bat. However, I think he would be able to adjust to the 17 oz weight after a short amount of use. If you wanted to consider another model, be sure and look at the Easton MAKO Junior Big Barrel Baseball Bat (JBB15MKB) in the 27"/15 oz size. It will be a little lighter than than the 16 oz weight you listed for an ideal bat, but I think your player would enjoy that MAKO bat as well.
