What kind of durability issues are there with this bat using a .44 core ball?

The 2015 Miken Psycho Balanced ASA (SPSYBA Slow Pitch) bat is made to hit the softer .52 core balls. It will still hit the .44 core ball exceptionally well. It's just that over the lifespan of the bat you may see increased denting, cracking, or even breaking versus the harder ball.

Looking to get a team bat. Can this be used by power hitters and contact hitters?

Yes, the 2015 Miken Psycho Balanced ASA (SPSYBA) would be a great option for both a power hitter and contact hitter. If you had to choose a bat for both types of hitters, a one-piece balanced bat would be the way to go.
