The 2016 Adidas EQT X3 RBZ RocketBallz BBCOR Baseball Bat (X3 RBZ) will feature a two-piece full composite construction. Much like the 2016 Adidas EQT X3 RBZ RocketBallz BBCOR Baseball Bat (X3 RBZ) the 2016 Louisville Slugger Prime 916 BBCOR Baseball Bat (BBP9163) is a new production line model and will feature a three-piece composite design. Both bats would be great selections. The LS 916 does come with a 30 day promise so you have the ability to actually use this bat to see if you like it.

The 2016 Adidas EQT X3 RBZ RocketBallz BBCOR Baseball Bat (X3 RBZ) and the 2015 Easton MAKO BBCOR Baseball Bat (BB15MK) are both great bats within the two-piece fully composite category. Both feature a balanced swing weight with extended barrel/sweet spot. The composite materials used for the barrels will be different but will both provide excellent feel and durability. Either one would make a great selection. Comes down to your personal preference as far as price point, look, etc.

The 2016 Adidas EQT X3 RBZ RocketBallz BBCOR Baseball Bat (X3 RBZ) and the 2016 DeMarini Voodoo RAW BBCOR Baseball Bat (DXVDC) are both two-piece bats that will feature an extended barrel (end-loaded swing weight with this type of barrel). The Adidas EQT will be a fully composite design while the Voodoo Raw will be a hybrid design (alloy barrel with composite handle). Both are good bats. Comes down to whether or not you want a fully composite or hybrid design.

The 2016 Adidas EQT X3 RBZ RocketBallz BBCOR Baseball Bat: X3 RBZ and the Marucci CAT 6 BBCOR Baseball Bat: MCBC614 are two completely different bats. Both bats will feature a balanced swing weight though. The differences would be that the Marucci CAT 6 BBCOR Baseball Bat: MCBC614 is a one-piece alloy design while the 2016 Adidas EQT X3 RBZ RocketBallz BBCOR Baseball Bat: X3 RBZ is a two-piece fully composite design. If you are looking for less vibration/stinging sensation from off-centered hits then the 2016 Adidas EQT X3 RBZ RocketBallz BBCOR Baseball Bat: X3 RBZ would be the better choice as this bat will flex more on impact helping to redirect the vibration. If you are seeking more power potential than the Marucci CAT 6 BBCOR Baseball Bat: MCBC614 and its one-piece design may be a better option to consider.

This 2016 Adidas EQT X3 RBZ RocketBallz BBCOR Baseball Bat (X3 RBZ) will have a pretty even weight distribution. There are going to be a lot of wood bats out there with pretty even weight distributions. Any wood bat listed with a 110 or 271 turning model will feel pretty similar to this RBZ RocketBallz.

Is this bat as good as the MAKO TORQ or the DeMarini CF8? Studley Juddley
We haven't gotten a ton of customer feedback on this 2016 Adidas EQT X3 RBZ RocketBallz BBCOR Baseball Bat (X3 RBZ), but everything that we have received is pretty positive thus far. I would recommend this over the MAKO TORQ if you are desiring to get a bat with more of a traditional handle (non-TORQ handle). In regard to a comparison to the CF8, I would have to side with the CF8 in regard to reviews. However, if you are looking to invest in something new, I think this X3 RBZ is a great option.

We are unaware of the 2016 Adidas EQT X3 RBZ RocketBallz BBCOR Baseball Bat: X3 RBZ being a previous bat that Adidas bought out. There are a few other two-piece fully composite bats on the market such as the DeMarini CF8/Zen, LS Prime 916/917, and Easton MAKO.

This is the main difference and because of this difference in construction there will be varying degrees of technology applied to each of these bats with regards to end cap, vibration and barrel technology.

The 2016 Adidas EQT X3 RBZ RocketBallz BBCOR Baseball Bat: X3 RBZ is going to be a two piece bat. There will be some flex on contact that will help reduce vibrations. With that being said, the bat is not going to bend during the swing.

For the typical player with your height and weight we would recommend swinging a 31"/28oz. With that being said that is a very generic recommendation and everybody is different. You could definitely swing a 32"/29oz but we wouldn't recommend going heavier than that.

This 2017 Adidas Aero Burner Comp BBCOR Baseball Bat (AEROCBB) will come with a two-piece, all-composite design just like the RBZ (X3 RBZ). Past that though, they are pretty different. The RBZ featured the RBZ Carbon Barrel, extended barrel design and the Energy Recoil System. The biggest technology that is being introduced on this Aero Burner Comp bat is the AeroBurner Technology that provides ideal weight distribution for more control.

Both this 2016 Adidas EQT X3 RBZ RocketBallz BBCOR Baseball Bat (X3 RBZ) and the CF6 are two-piece, all-composite bats with balanced swing weights. The CF6 was definitely the more popular bat between these two and the CF6 received a high number of excellent reviews from JustBats customers. However, this X3 RBZ has received some good customer remarks as well. If you were wanting to get a discounted two-piece, all-composite bat, I would recommend this X3 RBZ pretty highly.

Having swung this bat personally, I do believe that the bat is very well balanced. However, I would not say that the balance takes away the possible power that the bat could display. The 2016 Adidas EQT X3 RBZ RocketBallz BBCOR Baseball Bat: X3 RBZ is pretty hot out of the wrapper, but it will still benefit from a small break-in period. Taking about 150-200 swings off a tee while rotating the barrel every few swings would be good for the bat. It also helps to start off at about 50% swing speed and gradually work your way up.
