Description

With the AXE Danielle Lawrie Fastpitch Softball Bat: L136C, you've got one of the fastest-swinging bats in the game which is created through a re-engineered LP1 Alloy blend. This material composition improves both pop and durability without compromising the low MOI or balanced swing weight that elite players demand. And like all of the AXE Bat models, the Danielle Lawrie Fastpitch Softbal Bat features their patented handle design; ensuring you have the most advanced tech in the business - right in the palm of your hand.

AXE Handle Benefits
Better Bat Control - High speed video reveals a "hammering" motion from the traditional round knob. The AXE handle stabilizes the grip, increasing barrel control.
More Power & Bat Speed - Range of motion is increased and tension is reduced in the hands, resulting in greater power transfer and more bat speed.
Enhanced Comfort - The AXE handle is ergonomically designed, so it naturally fits the contour of your hand.
Reduces Injuries - Traditional round handles put tremendous pressure on a single point of the hand, which contains the commonly broken Hamate Bone. The flush backside of the AXE handle relieves this pressure.

You can pick up your own AXE Danielle Lawrie Fastpitch Softball Bat: L136C with Fast, Free Shipping - right here at JustBats.com!

Each AXE Bat is also backed by a 30 Day Money-Back Guarantee. If you're not satisfied with the performance of the AXE Bat within 30 days of your purchase, you can send it back to us with our Free UPS Returns Label for a full refund or exchange.

Fantastic feel -- powerful pop! Dave parent

Pros: Bought this after attending a Danielle Lawrie clinic for the daughter and it immediately became her game bat. The handle keeps her hands in the correct hitting position and prevents rolling over. A bat won't immediately make someone a better hitter but it's been a great first step. Definitely recommend!

Cons: None!

Feels great in your hands Mike Maciolek parent

Pros: This bat feels great in your hands. My daughter loves it. She had no problem adjusting to the handle. She hit the ball on a much more consent bases. My son's like the way the handle is so much they want the little league version.

Says what it claims!! Holly parent

Pros: Right out of the package it has a great pop. I bought this bat for my 13 year old. She had out grown the others. Most bats need to be broke in before they show its full potential. My daughter barely swung this bat (just to get a feel for it) and knocked the ball almost to the fence like it was nothing. She loves it. Seems to be a great decision and the price makes it even better. I gave it one star on durability, because we haven't had it long enough. The delivery service is great, too. I had opted for the free delivery and it arrived a day before. That just put the icing on the cake for me.

Cons: She's had this bat for one practice. Can't really say if there are any cons at this time.

The design and pop of this bat amazes people. Jamison coach

Pros: light weight, it has a great amount of pop, the design of the handle became a team favorite. Once the girls on the team were introduced to the bat they loved it. The holding of the bat did need to be explained but it was easy to teach. Once they got the feel of how to hold it they preferred the axe handle over the standard. Great Purchase.

Cons: none that I can think of at this time

Questions and Answers

Have a question about the AXE Danielle Lawrie Fastpitch Softball Bat: L136C? Ask our team of experts and they will respond within 24 hours.

Is this bat considered a -13? J.R.
No, the 2016 AXE Danielle Lawrie Fastpitch Softball Bat: L136C has a -12 length to weight ratio and it is considered a drop 12.
Jason
My daughter plays on a 14U softball travel team. She is 13 years old, stands 5'4" and weighs 140 pounds. Is this bat appropriate? Cathy johnson
For your daughter's height and weight we recommend a 32" length bat. The 2016 AXE Danielle Lawrie Fastpitch Softball Bat: L136C is available in this length, however this bat has a -12 length to weight ratio so it will weigh 20 oz. At her age and level of play this bat may be too light for her. We suggest looking for a -11 (21 oz.) or -10 (22 oz.).
Angelique
does it have a usssa stamp on it loading...
Yes, the 2016 AXE Danielle Lawrie Fastpitch Softball Bat: L136C will feature the USSSA certification stamp on it.
Nick
My daughter is almost 10. She is 4'9" and 102 lbs, playing minor fast pitch softball. Would this be appropriate for her? rebecca
The 2016 AXE Danielle Lawrie Fastpitch Softball Bat: L136C would be an excellent bat for her. Based on her height and weight, we suggest a 31" model.
Jason
My daughter is 5'6" and weighs 139 pounds and is 13 going on 14 in a month and needs a new bat. She has a hard time with most bats leaving her hands hurting and needs something with the right length and weight to get her to swing properly. If we order this which one do I order? Nicole
Based on your daughter's height and weight, we would recommend getting the 2016 AXE Danielle Lawrie Fastpitch Softball Bat: L136C in a 33 inch 21 ounce model. As far as the hands hurting, this is probably due to a ball hit off centered (off the hands or end cap). A two-piece bat will help reduce some of the stinging but not all of it. As for the correct weight, that will really boil down to the weight of the bat she is currently using and how that is treating her. If she is having no issues with the current weight, the increasing one to two ounces would be okay typically. If struggling with the weight, the one would need to stay at current weight or look to go down one ounce.
Cameron
last year I bought my daughter the model L150A axe bat from justbats and she loves it. how is L136C comparable to that bat. bob
The 2016 AXE Danielle Lawrie Fastpitch Softball Bat: L136C is much different in comparison because this particular model is a one-piece aluminum design while the Axe Avenge Fastpitch Softball Bat: L150A is a two-piece fully composite construction.
John P.
My daughter is 8 playing 8U coach pitch. It is slow now, but in the fall they will move up to 10U fast pitch. She's 4' 4" weighing about 70 lbs and is hitting consistently with a 28" composite bat weighing 16.5 oz. What do you recommend? Looking to get her a little more power in her swing. NormP
Based upon your daughter's height and weight, I would recommend using a 29" 2016 AXE Danielle Lawrie Fastpitch Softball Bat: L136C. This particular model features a -12 length to weight ratio so the 29 inch length will weigh 17 ounces.
John P.
Is it ASA approved? Chad DeFelice
Yes, the 2016 AXE Danielle Lawrie Fastpitch Softball Bat: L136C is approved for play in ASA.
John P.
My daughter is a 12 years old, 5'5" and 170 lbs. She is currently using a cheap bat that's producing a lot of hand sting. What would you recommend, keeping durability in mind? Theresa
Based upon your player's height and weight, I would make a general recommendation of getting this 2016 AXE Danielle Lawrie Fastpitch Softball Bat (L136C) in the 33" or 34" option. As long as she can effectively handle the respective weight of those bats, I would recommend either option for her. As well, we have yet to receive negative reviews for this bat in regard to vibration or durability. I think that this bat has the ability to be an excellent option for your player
Ben
My 11 year old daughter is very petite at around 55" tall and 58 lbs. What size bat should I order? M.C.
Based upon your player's height and weight, I would recommend getting this 2016 AXE Danielle Lawrie Fastpitch Softball Bat (L136C) in the 28" length. As long as your player can handle the 16 oz weight of the 28" model of this bat, I would recommend this bat in that size (unfortunately, at the time of this question, we are out of that exact size). if you feel comfortable, I might also recommend considering the 29"/17 oz option as well.
Ben
Is this bat an end-loaded bat? Bamagyrl
This 2016 AXE Danielle Lawrie Fastpitch Softball Bat (L136C) will feature a pretty balanced swing feel overall.
Ben
My daughter really likes this bat. Where can we find the 30 in or 31 in model? Molly
Unfortunately, we will not longer be getting in any of the 2016 AXE Danielle Lawrie Fastpitch Softball Bat: L136C in stock since this is the older model. However, we will be getting in the 2017 model of the same bat.

About the Brand

Launched by Baden Sports in 2011, the Axe line of bats was hailed as a breakthrough in bat technology by players and coaches from youth leagues to the Pros. The makers of the Axe line of bats often pose the question, "What does your traditional knob do for you?" Most players don't have a good answer. Axe engineers have created a handle that is not only more comfortable and safer in terms of hand injuries, but also helps improve the hitter's swing by keeping them on an even plane. Although Axe is new to the market, they are backed by Baden Sports, Inc., an independent, family-owned company that has been making baseball products since 1979. Their passion to create a better game is unparalleled, making it no surprise that the Axe handle is set to be baseball's next big thing.
