Description
TCT Thermo Composite Technology is the key to the MAKO TORQ's industry-leading swing speed, massive sweet spot, and pure feel on contact. This innovative material comprises both the barrel and handle which are united by Easton's patented 2-PC ConneXion Technology. By isolating the handle from the barrel with the connection joint, energy transfer is maximized while simultaneously eliminating any unwanted vibration. The MAKO TORQ's foundation is then optimized with a lower Swing Weight Index for one of the lightest swing weights on the market. Sounds like exactly what every ballplayer is searching for, right? Well, the team at Easton has taken this design to a whole new level with the inclusion of the TORQ 360 Degree Rotating Handle Technology. Last season, the TORQ Handle surpassed all expectations and more-than-delivered on its promises:
Own The Inner Half: The TORQ Handle frees up your hands, allowing hitters to barrel-up the inside pitch and avoid the dreaded "jam sandwich".
Stay Inside The Ball: By getting your hands inside the ball, the TORQ promotes the best swing mechanics for more consistent, powerful contact.
Power To All Fields: TORQ Technology helps you keep the barrel on-plane longer through the hitting zone, so you can drive the ball with more backspin (to all parts of the yard).
The TORQ features a 2 5/8" barrel diameter, -3 length to weight ratio, new TORQ TAQ Performance Grip, and is BBCOR Certified for High School and Collegiate Play. Great Bat Cabriell player
Pros: First time i used this bat i was a little nervous but i ended up hitting a 350 foul ball. Great pop. Little to no vibration. Great for power hitters or hitters who fly-out a lot.
Cons: The twist may make you nervous but you do not feel it when you swing in the game.
torq it Ry guy parent
Pros: picked this up because it was cheap and its a mako. It has pop right out of the wrapper and im exited to see what my son can do with it after its broken in.
Cons: The sound the bat makes is a ping rather than a crack. We tried the torq thing but i think it creates bad habits that will be hard to fix later, so its de-torqd. My son didnt seem to like the handle even tho i made him try. Cant talk about durability as we have only hit about 250 balls off easy bp. Oh and come on, the word mako is a sticker? Must have run out of paint
