Pros: very Easy to Swing, my farthest hits were with this bat. I have a 28 in 18 oz as a 14 year old, was just messing around with it, and i hit a bunch 250+

Is the 2 5/8" bat legal for Dixie OZone play? OpsDoc

Typically, the 2 1/4" is the accepted Youth sized barrel diameter. For Dixie OZone play, I would check with a league official or your team coach. If so, the 2016 Miken Freak Black Senior League Baseball Bat (SFKB10) would be a heck of a bat!

By design, the 2016 Miken Freak Black Senior League Baseball Bat (SFKB10) will be a fairly balanced design but certain players may differ in what they consider to be a balanced feel. If you found the previous year's model to not be balanced, this model may have a similar feel for you.

My 9 year old son has the Miken Triad3, which we love because it is balanced and has a light swing weight and he is hitting the ball very well with it. Would the Freak be similar or would you recommend a different bat to replace it with? Jason

Out of the bats that we currently have available, the 2016 Miken Freak Black Senior League Baseball Bat (SFKB10) would probably be the closest to the Miken Triad Senior League Baseball Bat (STRI10) in terms of design.

My son is devastated because he cracked his Miken Shock (this was his fourth one to crack). He has hit with Miken since he was six and has been pretty loyal to the brand with the exception of a few bats we had to buy while waiting for his Miken to arrive. I ordered the Freak today. The 2016 Miken Freak Black Senior League Baseball Bat (SFKB10) will have a different feel because it is a composite design with two-piece construction while the Miken RZR SHOK Senior League Baseball Bat (SLSK10) was a single-piece alloy model. They will sound different and offer different feedback. The Freak may be an upgrade in terms of durability and comfort of swing.
