Description
The COMBAT MAXUM is back and continues to push the limits to new heights. COMBAT has made a name for themselves with the MAXUM in the bat industry by consistently delivering an extreme combination of an ultra-balanced feel, extremely fast swing weights, a HUGE sweet spot, and unparalleled performance. This COMBAT MAXUM -11 Senior League Baseball Bat: SL7MX211 provides hitters with an almost unfair sweet spot that is 20-40% larger than competitor models! Switching to the SL7MX211 will also result in an average of 38% Swing Weight Reduction which is the lowest swing weight ever! These models are one-piece, fully composite designs crafted with a seamless construction. A carbon-fiber sleeve runs the length of the bat providing uniform strength for a fine-tuned performance. Unlike typical composite bats that are created by rolling or overlapping layers of material, the MAXUM is produced with advanced Precision Molding Technology (PMT). The PMT process injects liquid resin into seamless high-quality carbon sleeves under extreme pressure. The result is an ultra-consistent product that eliminates seams and weak points that you get with the traditional process. No seams means no dead spots! That means players can rest-assured that the MAXUM will deliver perfectly tuned performance over a longer lifespan. COMBAT is so sure of this ground-breaking design, each baseball bat is backed by a full twelve (12) month warranty. Additionally, the SL7MX211 features the USSSA 1.15 BPF Certification, a -11 length to weight ratio, and a 2 3/4 inch barrel diameter. COMBAT: Measure Up to MAXUM! Awesome Bat Doug Canter parent
Pros: The sweet spot on this bat is excellent. The pop my 12 year old gets out of this bat is awesome. First year in select and he is facing 70mph pitching and because of the design of this bat he is smashing it.
Cons: Does seem to get ringing in hands
this bat stinks mad parent parent
Pros: none
Cons: used this bat for 3 months and it broke above the handle. bat has no pop
Its a okay bat Ann Frando parent
Pros: Looks very nice.
Cons: The zing is pretty rough. Sweet spot is small.
Terrible Bat Upset Parent parent
Pros: Descent pop
Cons: My 12 yro son broke 2 of these bats in a 4 month span. The bat is not durable at all. I did however receive a third bat after a month battle with Combat.
Good Pop, Not Maxum Sized, Hand Ringer! Rambo's Bodyguard parent
Pros: Bat has good pop, nice lizard skin grip already installed. I put 4 stars for Durability but haven't had long enough to really know how well it will hold up.
Cons: They call this the Maxum but in comparison to other Maxums I've seen, the barrel isn't that big on this model. That was let down number 1, then the worst thing is how bad it will ring the player's hands if they hit it off the end of the barrel.
Great Bat R.H. coach
Pros: My son has used 3 different Combat bats. Great feel and weight distribution. Great pop and overall a great bat.
Cons: As he moved into bigger models the third one he got cracked after two weeks using it. JustBats.com customer service was great and replaced it right away.
Durability is poor in my experience Combat Consumer parent
Pros: Nice feel. Excellent balance. Easy to control for a 10 year old. Drop 11 is very hard to find, but was a great fit for my son. Really like the bat and if it would stay together I would highly recommend it.
Cons: Durability is very poor. On our third bat this 2017 season due to cracking on the barrel and one bat broke in two on contact with a pitch from a coach during practice. However, Easton has been great about replacing the consistently breaking bats and allowing my son to continue through the season with the same bat. Easton has assumed Combat operations.
Hot Bat Bobby Warren parent
Pros: Son received this bat just over a week ago. He is smaller for his age group so this bat allows him to cover the strike zone without being too heavy and has a lot of pop. Shortly after breaking in, he dominated batting practice, hit a home run in a tournament skills competition and has hit the fence in a few games turning him from a contact hitter to a power hitter.
Cons: None at this time.
love michelle parent
Pros: great bat helped alot woth hitting
Cons: little vibration he said
my 9 year old loves it Combat convert parent
Pros: its all about the pop. Ball definitely jumps off bat, longer barrel is great as well!
Cons: There is a good bit of sting on miss hits, but with longer barrel and large sweet spot, doesn't happen too often.
Select Ashley parent
Pros: My boy has been hitting a lot of home runs with this bat.
Cons: None

Cons: none
Good bat not great Scott parent
Pros: When you do hit the sweet spot it FLYS!!! my 12U player uses this against faster pitchers. Bat feels nice in his hands. overall great bat for price.
Cons: Zings hands too often. Seem when not hitting sweet spot you get dead sounding noise and bat doesn't drive as well as some of his other bats on just basic hit like hard grounders and line drive.
Great Derrick player
Pros: Everything about it was good
Cons: None
2017 COMBAT MAXUM -11 Senior League Baseball Bat: Eric E parent
Pros: Have only used in practice and BP currently, however my son is completely in love with this bat. His swing is more balanced and fly through the zone. He loves the installed Lizard Skin on the handle as well, he has not used with his batting gloves as of yet because he likes the grip the skin provides, have not had any of the bat sting issue as of yet.
Cons: Need to use more against live pitching once season start
great bat good pop Justyn Arnold parent
Pros: Good pop, nice feel, good size sweet spot
Cons: none yet. havent had the bat long enought to attest to the durability
Perfect for 8U Travel Ball Ben APplegate coach
Pros: My son is 7 he is 94lbs and taller than any kid on the team. This bat is perfectly balanced. The barrel has a very large sweet spot. We have probably hit 250+ balls now and it has really come alive now that its breaking in. My son has yet to complain about stinging his hands. I could not believe the price was under 100$ because it feels like a 400 dollar bat. Highly recommend you to have buy this for cheap.
Cons: Curious to see how the durability holds up so we will see.
My Son is crushing the ball Kenny Ruiz parent
Pros: My 8 yr old son is 4 ft 9 and weighs 105 lbs and using the 30 in 19oz. He is crushing the ball with this bat to the point that the coach of our team won't allow infielders when my son is taking BP. The coach literally sends all the kids to the outfield to chase balls. My son says this bat has better feel than his Demarini Voodoo bat with less vibration. Extremely happy with the purchase especially at the discount that's available.
Cons: This bat will not be legal to use in our league in 2019.
Great bat for the money Steve parent
Pros: Sweet spot and feel
Cons: Colors and handle wrap color gets dirty too quick
nice bat Baseball Joe coach
Pros: Feels lighter than 17oz, has nice pop. Been using the 28" 17oz at practice and a lot of kids really like it. Sounds like a wooden bat. My son got it for Christmas and he really loves it. I have to say the balance on this bat is perfect and makes for a quicker swing. good bat for the money.
Cons: As we are finding out with all composit bats one year is about all u get out of them maby two seasons if you dont play to many games.
29 inch -11 combat Damian coach
Pros: Lighter bat for a skinnier 11u player. A lot of his teammates also use it now, because of the lighter feel to the bat. That one ounce does make a difference. A great price for this bat, would buy it again if I had to do it over.
Cons: Had to get used of the handle. Vibrated his hands the first few times, but doesn't even notice now. Been having the bat about a month now, can't comment on durability yet.
SUPER HOTTTTTTTTT elite travel 10u coach
Pros: SUPER HOTTTTTT .!!!! The one piece bat is so much better for youth baseball this is the best example of how a truly well-made bar will change a players game. COMBAT IS THE BEST...
Cons: none
2017 Combat Maxum -11 Senior Nicky Giovannelli player
Pros: Just ordered this bat for my son. The price was the reason. He had the Louisville Slugger Catylist the last two years. He told me its equal to but not better than the Slugger.
Cons: My son told me it rattles or vibrates even if you hit it on the sweet spot. Not sure about the durability we just purchased the bat. He likes the overall feel but he has only used it in the cage and not in games yet.
Hot out of the wrapper! Deegan D player
Pros: Lots of pop. Very little break in required
Cons: Stings the hands on miss hits
Durability is very questionable Scott Shea parent
Pros: Cheap purchase
Cons: Bat broke 2nd game used, Temp was 82 degrees and sunny, Bat was broken in off Tee work 150 balls and then soft toss 100 balls, before any live pitching. This was being swung by a 48" tall 9 yr old
awesome BAT Jeremy McAndrews parent
Pros: great bat , Unbelievable pop , big sweet spot
Cons: will only get to use this bat for a year because we are going to usa rules next year
8 yr old and 11 yr old love this bat Lions Dad coach
Pros: Pop, balanced swing weight, durability. We have never had a Combat Maxum spider, crack or break. Both my sons are their most confident when in the box with their Maxums. They absolutely love them.
Cons: At some point they wont make them anymore since Combat is defunct....
Kid loves the bat! joe parent
Pros: nice pop
Cons: the rest of his team wants to use it!
Awesome bat! joe roberts parent
Pros: my kids loves this bat ! great price too!
Cons: i have no negative!
Fine Bat! Iraq Vet's Son parent
Pros: Awesome color, nice grip, has some serious pop, at least for my son. He hit a home run indoors last week into the nets and hes just nine.
Cons: Maybe a bit top heavy but my kid seems to haven gotten use to that.
Heavy Vibration Kevin Stockwell coach
Pros: My son likes the look and general feel of the bat. It's given him some better pop and thus far it's been durable. Have owned for one month playing travel ball.
Cons: Son is having a hard time with the vibration and stingers coming off this bat if it's not hit just perfect every time. No other bat we've used he's had such a hard time. Have doubled up the tape to try to assist with the sting if not hit perfect.
pretty good bat fisher player
Pros: good bat
Cons: vibrtion
Great investment. Gavin player
Pros: The bat has great pop..My son plays 9u travel ball he has been hitting bombs all season .We have a 28in 18oz. drop 11.
Cons: The breaking in period..You have to hit about 300 balls to break in
not legal Rich D. player
Pros: bata hits great..my son is small for his age and has a hard time swinging heavier bats... he can swing this one very well.
Cons: it was illegal every tournament we went to thoa summer. wasted my money. i should have done my homework better.
Worth the purchase Willie parent
Pros: Pop for days. My (smaller) 11u son loves this bat.
Cons: Tends to sting when youu miss the sweet spot
Maxum Combat drop 11 Marc Soulema Parent
Pros: Barrel heavy so helps get a nice whip. Felt balanced.
Cons: Terrible in performance. Zero pop. We got rid of it! Bought a Cat 8 drop 10 senior league bat. Let me just say wow, what a difference.
Combat Orlando13 Coach
Pros: A lot of pop , very good feel very balanced . I have a 6 year old swinging a 27” 16oz and he is hitting the ball very different since he picked up this bat
Cons: Little vibration . Read that they break easy but I have not have any problems
Best Bat in the League Intense Coach Coach
Pros: Coach and Parent: The big barrel with a large sweet spot helped my seven year old son and his teammates consistently hit the furthest in the league. After one year and typical abuse from kids, the bat still looks new. I'm not sure if the newer more expensive Combats are any different, but this one was outstanding for the price.
Cons: Need more sizes for them to continue to grow into and use.
Great bat for an even better price Tom Parent
Pros: So far my 8 year old loves the bat. He is still breaking in the bat as the baseball season is still months away in Chicago. The bat has a great feel and a nice pop.
Cons: So far so good.
Great Pop!!! Justin Coach
Pros: Awesome pop out of wrapper, very balanced bat to swing, no vibration
Cons: None
Still new but good so far! AaRon Brown Coach
Pros: Feels good the first couple indoor batting practices. Good pop with no vibration as some are saying.
Cons: None so far.
Did not last. Damian Coach
Pros: Pop was good, bat felt balanced. Added distance to my son's hits.
Cons: After three months, bat died. No more ding when he hits the ball. Sounds like hitting an old cabbage ball on every hit. Would not recommend.
Couldn't use it Mark Edwards Parent
Pros: Do not know.... didn't get to use it.
Cons: Couldn't use it due to bogus new bat standards. Have had combats in the past. This one probably would have been stellar also.
Solid bat for $100 Scott Coach
Pros: My son loves this bat! He is 6 playing in 8u coach pitch. He is 4ft2in 70lbs. Perfect size & weight for his first non t-ball bat.
Cons: None Says it’s stings a little if not hit in the barrel, as to be expected.
Combat Maxum 28/17 Donny Coach
Pros: 9 year old (10U) loves it. Been breaking it in. Sounds good, really balanced and good pop. Only used in BP; Tee's, soft toss, side toss and live pitch but not in games yet. But all is good so far.
Cons: No game action yet so well see if any vibration issues occur, but none so far.
