Description
This Marucci CAT 7 Senior League Baseball Bat is similar to that of the CAT 5 and CAT 6, only double the power! You are really going to scare some people if you come to the plate with this bat. Marucci has done a fantastic job of upping the ante from year to year and improving on an already masterful design. One of the main differences from last years CAT 6 to this CAT 7 is the new and improved AZ4X Alloy that dramatically improves durability and strength. Additionally, the optimized barrel design is more responsive and offers a sweet spot that is twice as large in comparison to the CAT 6. Through Marucci's engineer's extensive research and consultation with their player advisory board made up of big leaguers, they determined that one of the most common complaints among amateur baseball players is vibration in the hands. The brand-new AV2 Knob, also known as the second generation anti-vibration knob, offers a much better feel and remarkably less vibrational feedback in players' hands. Furthermore, the proven ring-free barrel technology continues to produce unmatched performance with absolutely no 'dead' spots. The combination of these new features results in a traditional, one-piece, all alloy, best balanced, most forgiving, sweetest feeling, and hardest hitting bat available.
The Marucci CAT 7 Senior League Baseball Bat: MSBYC78 features a -8 length to weight ratio, a 2 5/8 inch barrel diameter, and the USSSA 1.15 BPF certification. Also, Marucci is backing this monster of a bat with a full twelve (12) month manufacturer's warranty. Marucci: Honor The Game! Be the talk of the town and make sure to get your own CAT 7 today with fast, free shipping.

Awesome bat Marcus parent
Pros: My son swears by this bat. Solid pop, well balanced. Nice step up from his -10 Hex Alloy. Another home run by Marucci!
Cons: None
Comparable pop to the Cat 5 C REED parent
Pros: Nice balanced swing -8 feels lighter than -10's. Good pop and seems durable after one season.
Cons: None
Very Happy Matthew parent
Pros: My son has always used Easton bats, but it was time to switch to a -8 and his hitting coach recommended this bat. He loves it.
Cons: None so far. Some people have made comments about the grip, looking at it I would say for sure you wouldn't use this without batting gloves. No issues using batting gloves though.
BRING BACK THE CAT 5 Mason parent
Pros: This bat has a balanced feel that is good for smaller kids or contact hitters.
Cons: The pop is not great. With all the hype surrounding this bat, I was expecting Cat 5 like performance. It's just not there. The "PING" sound is obnoxious. The white grip tape does not hold up very well- changing to 1.8mm Lizard Skin will make your son happier. I gave 3 stars for durability because we just have not had it long enough to know. Overall, it's just an okay bat. I would not recommend it. I will try to sell it or strictly use it as a batting cage bat.
CAT 7 Tony parent

Great bat in the small drop 8 Alloy bat space Big Daddy Frank parent
Pros: Son just turned 10 and is 4' 8, 90 lbs. He is in transition to drop 8'and needed alloy for colder days. The drop 8 alloy space is small but was aware that Marucci makes balanced bats. Purchased 30 inch drop 8. 1st batting session with trainer and team was impressive. Bat speed fast, no transition effect of 2 extra ounces, no stinging hands, grip has cushion feel, pop good, and ping is super loud. My son loves the loud sound.
Cons: Parents may not like the loud ping but most kids do.
Son loves bat Chris parent
Pros: My son loves his bat. He used to have a Easton and wanted something different this year. Glad we choose the Marucci Cat 7!
Cons: None
Over Hyped Adam parent
Pros: The -8 has a balanced feel that swings smooth.
Cons: My son dented 3 Marucci 2 5/8 Hex Alloy Bats in the matter of 3 weeks. After the having the 3rd for only 2 days and denting it Marucci recommended sending me the Cat 7 -8. My son does not like this bat, the ball comes off the bat with very little pop. My son is 5'1" and 90lbs. He is a very good contact hitter that can normally drive the ball but not with this bat.
great bat tommy b. parent
Pros: nice smooth swing. great pop
Cons: none so far.
Cat7 Bat Bdoll9 player
Pros: This bat is amazing. My first swing in a game a hit a 2 RBI double down the line. It left the bat at like 70 MPH. The loud ping is awesome
Cons: Only had it a week don't know about durability
Sweet bat Anonymous player player
Pros: This bat has a huge sweet spot and can send the ball over the fence. No vibration. Good grip already on the bat but I still put Lizard skin on because it is the best.
Cons: No cons.

Marucci Cat 7 big daddy player

Cons: bad vibrations when jammed but what bat doesn't
Great bat, great service from Justbats SoCal baseball dad parent
Pros: Bought 29" for 8yo playing club. He says it feels lighter than his composite Easton drop 10. He likes the balance and likes the annoying ping sound it makes when you square one up.
Cons: Not bats fault but this will not be legal come 1/1/18 for Little League, Pony, etc. It is and WILL continue to be legal for tournament / club play.
bbe (Best bat ever) bob player
Pros: the pop is crazy and it just has a feel to it
Cons: blank
thumbs up bob other
Pros: has great feel and pop
Cons: it has a loud ping when you hit the ball
Ridiculous! C. Eighmey parent
Pros: I have never given a product review because I am generally too lazy and uninspired by whatever I have purchased, but I had to come back here and provide an update on this bat. A little background - my son plays 13U and is a fairly good ball player. He has hit several dingers over 225' fences and has been swinging an Easton MAKO Torq (30" drop 10) for the past 2 seasons, with good results. He needed something longer and a little heavier going forward, so we looked around and settled on the 32" drop 8 CAT 7 bat which arrived in the mail 2 days ago. Last night was his first game using the bat (with great anticipation) and on his FIRST SWING he hit the ball harder and farther than I have seen him hit it before - one bounce off the 280' fence on the fly. Next at bat he drove a frozen rope over the center fielders head off the fence again - this bat is AMAZING, so much POP!
Cons: None - other than every kid on the team wanting to use it. Haven't had it very long, so can't comment on durability.
My Son Loves it Pool Guy coach
Pros: Pop Balance Great feel
Cons: none

My 10-Yr Old Loves His Homerun Hitting Marucci Karen parent
Pros: Had to update my 10-yr old son's bat as we were behind on our bat transitions. We ended up moving from a -12 29/17 Combat to the Marucci Cat 7 -8 30/22. I was really worried that it was going to be a really big transition. But no need at all. In my son's 2nd day with the bat (in a tourney no less), he hits a home run with it! Needless to say...we feel we are definitely getting our money's worth!
Cons: Have heard that aluminum bats will ding and dent more easily. So...worried about that. Only time will tell.
This Bat Pops Jake coach
Pros: Another team had this bat as we watched their batting practice. Their kids were ripping the ball. My kid asked to step in and try. His hits instantly went 20-30 feet farther than his dead bat. I bought one that night and now all the kids on our team are using it. The drop 8 feels like a drop 10.
Cons: Nada.
RD Ellis richard d ellis parent
Pros: This is one of the best bats we ever owned. It has tremendous pop right out of the wrapper. The weight is spot on and it is very balanced. It is great for colder weather when the composites are less effective. My son absolutely loves this bat!
Cons: None

Players like Chase Utley allowed us to comprehend what a player needs and looks for in an ideal fielding glove. The Marucci player advisory board was integral in testing, tweaking, and ulitmatley perfecting the glove line to have the feel and features that matter to players. Understanding this professional standard of perfection has allowed us to handcraft a performance product that will last consistently maximize your game. Handcrafted, one by one, with the highest quality materials, for superior quality and feel, these gloves will require a gradual break-in period which provides a longer lasting form and shape. Professionally Inspired. Precision Crafted. Marucci: Honor the Game.
