Description

The new Anderson TechZilla was created to help make the average ballplayer into great hitter! With this bat, Anderson has created a way for the average hitter to swing faster without sacrificing control. This starts with the one-piece all-metal alloy frame that has a balanced swing weight to help players swing evenly and in control. However, it's the multi-wall construction that makes this bat unique. Anderson abandons conventional thinking when it comes to the multi-wall by introducing Internal PowerArch Technology to the TechZilla. This technology incorporates an arched interior sleeve design to generate maximum legal performance and an optimized moment of inertia (MOI). An lower MOI allows players to swing faster, which results in more power behind every swing! The TechZilla also features a TaperFlex Contour and TrueFlex End Cap that both aid in vibration reduction. Both of these integral parts also strengthen the barrel and keep energy locked in. Holding it all together, Anderson's Grooved Assembly System locks and fortifies the shell, sleeve, and end cap, providing increased barrel elasticity and superior durability. With an ultra-thin whip handle, SG-I Sport Grip, and weldless ergonomic knob, the TechZilla feels better in your hands than any bat ever has. Anderson is so confident you'll love this bat, they've brought back their Proof is at the Plate program. Try it out for 30 days, and if you don't like it, simply send it back to us. Let Anderson prove themselves... you've got nothing to lose! Anderson: Manufactured With Pride in the U.S.A.! The TechZilla is approved for play in Little League, Babe Ruth, Dixie, Pony, AABC, and USSSA. It is backed by a Full Twelve (12) Month Manufacturer's Warranty. Free Shipping!

Pros: Great bat! lots of pop if used by someone with a good swing. This is a very smooth swinging bat... seems like it will be very durable.

Cons: Could be a bit on the heavy side for some kids.

Pros: I didn't buy this bat for the name or fancy graphics or the price. I bought it because of the weight. Turns out to be a good quality bat. Last year took my son for a hitting lesson with a former major league player. Five minutes into the lesson he took his 17 oz composite bat off him and put into his hands an old 1980's model easton 25 oz bat. After the lesson he explained to me that the best thing I could do for my son was to put him into a heavier bat. He explained that young kids never learn to turn on the ball using light weight bats. They get used to wrestling the light weight bats with their hands and arms and never put power into the swing. This bat is one of the heaviest length to weight ratios out there and once they get used to swinging it, they will become better more consistent hitters.

Cons: A bit pricy for metal.

Pros: If you are looking for a big name bat, look somewhere else... if you are looking to crush the ball, look no farther! In the hands of a kid with good swing mechanics the ball will jump off this bat and travel fast and far. As others have said...it is heavier than most youth bats, but this is the beauty of it...a good swing will not "feel" the heaviness as it is relatively balanced...but you will SEE the heaviness in the result. The Zilla certainly is a Beast!

Cons: There are no Cons to this bat...some inexperienced hitters may not be able to handle it yet but should keep working on mechanics so that they can handle the Zilla in the future!

Pros: Tried the Eastons, the Louivilles etc. Couldnt believe the difference. My son hits farther and the ball comes off the bat faster. My son said when he hits it just right he can't even feel the ball hit the bat. Other reviews say the Techzilla dents easily. Havent seen that yet but I bet at the end of the season I'm going to want to frame our Dented Techzilla and hang it on the wall! Awesome bat!

Cons: Really dont care for the color

Pros: I have a 9 year old that has excellent form and swing, he just needed the extra weight. He is now busting the ball around 150 ft and he is 67lbs! If your child has excellent form and speed you wont be disappointed with this bat. My 9yo has the 30-21 and swings it well.

Cons: Not very pretty but makes up for that at the plate!

Pros: used this bat my last year of little league, hit 15 homers that year after only 1 the year before using an Voodoo. TechZilla is probably the most underrated bat in the world, the pop is INSANELY good. Do NOT waste your money on the big name brands, this is WAY better! please please please make this for big barrel!! i want to continue using Techs in high school!

Cons: a completely green bat, really? dents pretty easily, No big barrel model ):

Pros: Incredible "pop". My 11 yr old son couldn't get any explosiveness from his composite and I switched him to the Techzilla the results were immediate. He was ripping the cover off of the ball and balls were flying out of the park. I was concerned about the windshields of the cars in the parking lot.

Cons: The weight is heavy and I'd prefer a leather grip.

Pros: I bought this bat for my 12 year old. He has been swinging big name big barrel bats for about 2 years and finally found an amazing bat in the Anderson Techzilla. This bat has unbelievable pop. He is also able to swing a little heavier bat in the Techzilla. His old bats are 29/19 and we went with the 31/22 Techzilla. He is still able to get good bat speed. Unbelievable bat! Thanks Anderson.

Cons: Knob of this bat is very small compared to most of its competitors.

Pros: Great pop and well balanced. My son has always been a good contact hitter, this bat gives him the extra power to drive the ball to the outfield consistently. Just today I smashed a double to the fence for a double that ended up being the winning run. Techzilla is a great bat for any kid needing extra power, providing he has the strength to swing the extra weight. Best bat he ever had, and owns several Eastons, DeMarini's and COMbats.

Cons: None.

Baseball Parent Anne Smith parent

Pros: This is an excellent bat! It may not be the prettiest, or the "coolest" bat out there, but this bat performs well. This bat is heavier than most and is more end weighted. No bat will fix anything, but if your batter has good swing mechanics and can handle a heavier bat, this bat will reward the batter handsomely. I wouldn't hesitate buying this bat. His bat is the 32 inch 23 oz model.

Cons: The bat did dent at about the 8 month mark of bat ownership. My son doesn't bang the ground with it or his cleats with it. Just one of those things. Anderson was very easy to deal with and they warrantied and sent back a replacement quickly. Just keep your receipt. I would buy another Anderson any day, and will when he moves up to a big barrel.

The Kraken! Doug coach

Pros: We've swung them all in our family. This bat is in a different league than the rest for 2.25 barrels. It is heavier and end loaded and that extra weight makes all the difference for a bigger kid with good mechanics. My kid hits it further than any other Little League bat. He also hits it harder than his big barrel -9 Mako or the -9 Voodoo. Despite the weight of the interior sleeve, the swing is surprisingly well balanced. I get a kick watching him leave his composite bats in the bag and grab this old alloy Hero Maker.

Cons: It might be too much bat for younger or smaller kids. You have to have good mechanics or the bat will vibrate and sting the hands. The knob is too small and the grip is terrible - really awful. Lizard skin 1.8 makes all the difference.

I need a Legal Little League Bat- however my 12 year old is 5'10" and 160 - so he needs a 33" and a heavy bat steve
Unfortunately, small barrel bats only go up to a 32 inches. We only have 33 inch bats in the big barrel. If he is playing in the Junior League Division, we would be able to use a big barrel bat.

About the Brand

A High-Tech Engineer, a Sales Manager for a chemical company, and a Professional Yacht Racer with a background in mechanical engineering are not likely to have much in common. But they did, and still do. You guessed it…SOFTBALL.

Our passion for “Diamond” sports goes back many years, but it was about 10 years ago that we started manufacturing and private labeling our bats for other companies. In 1999, Steven Anderson designed a new multi-wall high-performance bat that featured our patented “Power Arch” technology. After thorough testing, it was ready for the company that we designed it for, but they were going through a transition period and were not ready to move on it.

Here was the bummer, our team was counting on using these bats in a big tournament that was just a month away and we could not put their graphics on the bats until the deal between the two of us was inked.

Steven offered a solution … they are already certified by the governing bodies so why don’t we put our own graphics on them and use them in the tourney. What a great idea and that is exactly what we did.

I was driving to the plant the next morning wearing my championship “T” shirt and had no idea that when I arrived at 6:30 am that the message machine would be filled and the phones would be ringing. The messages and the calls were all basically the same … “How do I get my hands on one of those new Anderson Techwraps”?

That is how it started, and since then we have released the FlexTech, FastTech, RocketTech, TechZilla, Pyrotech, and we are not done.

Let me tell you a little secret……THE BEST IS YET TO COME…GO DEEP, GO VERY VERY DEEP
