I'm looking for a drop 3 wooden BBCOR bat, from what I read this bat is very durable, is that true? And does this bat have good pop? Will i need bat grip? Also is the 32 inch 29 ounces? I'm 15 And 5'8" and want a wooden bat for less than $60 any suggestions?

I love the ST271, but the BESR version is no longer legal under NFHS rules, since as a laminate, it's not technically a wood bat. (Rule 1-3.2.d) Is there any hope that Brett Bros is going to be coming out with a BBCOR version?
I have not heard of any new BBCOR bats coming out by Brett Bros. This bat should be legal since it has a maple/ash combo barrel, I have not heard of an issue with this bat.

Wood bats are not required to have the BBCOR certification, only metal and composite bats.
