Awesome Red Thunder Elsa player

Pros: When I hit the ball, it has a lot of good pop on it. It feels good in my hands. All the girls on my team love it. I call it Red Thunder.

Cons: Some sting when I hit the ball off of the the end of it, even though it is a two-piece bat.

The barrel of the 2014 COMBAT Lisa Fernandez Hybrid: LFFP6112 Fastpitch is approximately 10 1/2" to 11" in length. This is the standard bat length for most fastpitch bats.

The 2014 COMBAT Lisa Fernandez Hybrid (LFFP6112) would be a great option for your player. The lightweight -12 length to weight ratio will help her achieve higher bat head speed and the two-piece design will flex a bit through the swing which will whip the bat head forward at the point of contact.

Is this a balanced bat? Would it compare to a Catalyst fastpitch bat? My daughter swings the Catalyst but it doesn't have the new stamp. She is a power hitter and she is small. S. Mcbride

The 2014 COMBAT Lisa Fernandez Hybrid (LFFP6112) is a very balanced bat. However, it is a two-piece bat with a composite handle and alloy barrel. The Catalyst is a one-piece composite bat. The 2014 COMBAT Portent (PORFP212) is a one-piece composite bat and is similar to the Louisville Slugger Catalyst.
