Pros: Wow! First of all let me say that the service was outstanding! Bat ended up getting here a day earlier than planned. My 10 yr old plays on the allstar team as well as season ball, so its basically year round so I wanted a bat that will last for a while. She is hitting great with the bat. Has alot of "pop" and she hit her first home run with her new bat!! Price was good . Love this company !
Cons: None so far but I will watch closely as the earlier years of the vendetta series w rails have had alot of issues. So far so good! No complaints.
Pros: This bat is perfect for all types of hitters. Unlike previous vendetta models, this one helps sluggers/power hitters as well. For me, it was either the cf5i or vendetta. After taking some swings with each, I felt more confortable with it. I was a little skeptical due to the cf5's awesome reviews, but it's proven itself quickly.I'm hitting more liners and it's added 10-20 feet on my flyballs!
Cons: None.
Pros: Well balanced, nice feel
Cons: We bought 2 of these bats at the begining of our school season. Neither bat made it to the last game. One bat broke in half and almost hit the coach and the other had already separated from the handle at the rails. DO NOT BUY THIS BAT!!!! Dealing with Demarini has been trying as well.
Pros: She simply loves the bat, amazing pop, she has increased her distance and the ball simply explodes off the sweet spot
Cons: nothing so far, this is not a team bat...
Pros: This bat perfect for my 10 yr old daughter. It is a will balanced bat with alot of pop for the weight. You will not find a better bat for the money.
Cons: The -12 weight is very light next year I will jump up to the CF5 -11 still an awsome bat!
Pros: Once I was up to bat and ready to go, I chose the DeMarini Vendetta. I hit my first GRAND SLAM!!!!! This has a great feel and a good balance, it makes me hit the ball farther!
Cons:
Pros: AWESOME
Cons:
Pros: awsome bat ever
Cons: awwwwwwsome
Pros: alot of pop ,well balanced bat
Cons: bought two of these one in july ,it cracked down the middle in 2 months ,bought another one and it lasted tell oct .and cracked as well ,almost in same place .dealing with demarini is a nightmare. buy a easton !!!!
Pros: This bat has great balance and is hot. My daughter is 1 12 yer old all star and travel ball player. This bat has great pop. I like the double wall. It probably adds 20-50ft of distance to good hits. My daughter is a power hitter, and this bat certainly enhances her game. I recommend this bat for girls who do not have great upper body strength but have good mechanics and a fast swing. This is s well made bat!
Cons: None so far. My daughter has been using this bat for over a year.
Pros: no vibration
Cons:
Pros: I just want to say the reason some of you are having issues is becuase your not suppose to use a composite bat under 60 degrees. That makes the bat prone to cracking and breaking in half. Thats why i always carry an extra bat. So far I Love It!
Cons: No notice of anything yet!
Pros: Girls Liked It
Cons: Broke in Two Barrel flew clear out to ss
Pros: they are lying this bat breaks after a day bad demarini bad!
Cons:
Pros: My daughter loved this bat!!!! "Best bat I ever had" L
Cons: During their last game, it broke into 2 pieces. The barrel part almost hit the pitcher.
Pros: Had the 09 model that broke in half sent it in for warranty and was sent back the current yr model. Excellent bat great pop right out of the packages way better than the 09 model. DeMARINI customer service is top notch
Cons: None so far hopefully this one doesnt crack.
Pros: I bought the 2011 model this Jan for my daughter. She used it 2 monthes then it died, made a funny noise when hit, sent it back to Demarini because it was still under warrenty. They sen it back and said since thiee was no structual damage it as OK, and it was my daughers fault for hitting the ball too far out at the end of the bat. I have no good things to say about Demarini, lost a customer.
Cons:
Pros:
Cons: very dissapointed. Lacks pop. Have only used once. Daughter hits alot better with her 40 dollar bat.
Pros: amazing pop i hit 2 grandslams with it i love this bat i dont kno y i looked at anyother bats
Cons:
Pros: great bat, great price,my 16 years old daugther, love this demarini bat, great buy!!!!
Cons: none
Pros: Bat has very good pop.
Cons: None yet.
Pros: I like this bat because not only does it look cool but also it gives a good pop on the ball when you make contact with it.
Cons: None
Pros: Lightweight barrel Great for slappers Good for bat control
Cons: A bit light for power above 14u level
Pros: love this bat. it looks awesome and the sweet spot is amazon!!! everybody on my team wanted to use it . it didnt take as long as i thought to brake it in. as being one of the slower people on the team i needed a bat that had a great line drive and pop to it and this is it!!!
Cons: first time i used it it got a chip in it. cant use it in cold weather
Pros: My daughter is 11 and was using a 30/20 for the longest time. She's not the strongest of players, so the 32/20 I got for her has been a blessing. The bat is performing well and seems to have some great pop. Took awhile to break it in, but once it came around, her line drives were 10 to 20 feet longer and her fly balls definately carried farther. I would highly recommend this bat.
Cons: Took a while to break in.
Pros: I would highly recommend this bat. I am very much enjoying my usage. I recommend it for girls like me who are just starting to get into the really competitive softball. the bat is so great that all my teammates ask to borrow it!
Cons: the only con i have is that it took me a while (roughly three weeks) to really get used to it. Other than that i really do love the vendetta model.
Pros: Wicked POP! First 8 at bats.... Triple, double, triple, single, single, double, single, fly out to deep center.
Cons: Could tou make it cost less?? LOL! No complaints!
Pros: Good grip and feel.
Cons: the bat has barly any pop! and my vendetta is in 2 peices on my bench right now!
Pros: Great bat! No such thing as a bad place to make contact, even by mistake it's very forgiving. The price is unbeatable from JustBats.com. A teammate of my daughters went out and bought the same bat and paid over 300 dollars.
Cons: None to write about.
Pros: Really brings out your hitting for about the first 4 months. After that you hit half as far and without as much power.
Cons: Bat broke after 9 months. The barrel went inside the composite part.
Pros: makes you feel like your hitting harder, as well as when it comes off the bat it comes off a lot faster than with other bats.
Cons: of course you cant use it under 60 degrees.
Pros: Got to love the pop!
Cons: Stung my hands after awhile.
Pros: This bat is awesome! I got it last year for my bday and this bad boy and I are still going heavy this season!
Cons:
Pros: it was good while it lasted, bought it 6-23-2012 it broke 8-28-2013. alot of money for such a short time.
Cons: the bat lost its pop early on. had a shor life. she has 3 dimarini bats all 2 piece composite, this one was the first bat i ever had break.
Pros: I love this bat. I really do. I started a travel team and this was my first expensive bat. It is so dependable. I plan to stick with DeMarini!
Cons:

About the Brand
In 1992, DeMarini Sports had something to celebrate. The three-year-old company had climbed a rung on the proverbial ladder of success, moving its world headquarters from a dirt-floored barn to a slightly larger metal shack. "It was a big move for us," recalled Ray DeMarini from the batting cage of DeMarini Sport’s present-day Bat Industrial Complex. "The new shop was larger, more storm resistant, and -best of all- it had a heater."
In the early days, DeMarini Sports hardly made a blip on the radar screen of softball. With no retailers and virtually no advertising budget, DeMarini grew steadily by selling high-performance bats directly to customers. While established companies made "juiced" bats for the pros and ordinary bats for the public, DeMarini focused on making one line of high-performance bats for pros and amateurs alike. This approach, combined with a passion for the sport, led to the greatest innovation in softball history - the world’s first multi-wall bat: the DeMarini Doublewall.
Released in 1993, the DeMarini Doublewall was the world’s first multi-wall bat. Like a modern golf driver or oversized tennis racket, the Doublewall had a giant "sweetspot," which allowed average players to hit like pros. DeMarini’s sales exploded, and before long opposing bat manufacturers to notice. DeMarini - a homegrown company led by a softball fanatic - had shaken the establishment silly.
To understand the rise of the DeMarini Dynasty, you need to know Ray DeMarini. A cult hero among avid players, Ray DeMarini emerged on the professional softball scene at the age of 40, a veritable geriatric among younger players. With a scientific approach to training, a batting speed of 96 miles-per-hour and a bombastic attitude, DeMarini fast earned a reputation as a savage competitor.
In June of 1987, ESPN launched a nationwide search for a hardcore player to advise on a series of instructional softball videos. When approached by producer Erich Lytle, the biggest boys in softball repeatedly spoke of a five-foot-seven softball giant—Ray DeMarini. DeMarini had mastered reflex hitting, a technique that drops the ball squarely between the infield and outfield. Impressed with DeMarini's knowledge and scientific approach to training, Lytle not only hired Ray as an advisor—he hired him as the host. Together, they produced Ray DeMarini's Reflex Hitting System, ESPN's most successful home video to date.
Having garnered national recognition through ESPN, Ray turned his efforts toward designing a high-performance bat for the masses. To accomplish this, he needed an engineer. "Not just an engineer," he said, "but a boot-strapping rocket scientist who could build an empire with pocket change." Ray's call was answered by Mike Eggiman. Having grown up on a farm, Eggiman was adept at making the most of a situation. Case in point: the company's first piece of automated bat-making equipment had the heart of an abandoned washing machine.
With Eggiman as Chief Engineer, DeMarini Sports delivered a series of industry firsts: the first multi-wall bat (Doublewall Distance), the first high-performance bat for massive players (Fatboy) and the first high-performance youth bat (Black Coyote).
In 2000, DeMarini joined forces with Wilson Sporting Goods to develop the next generation of hitting technology. Ray believed it was a perfect fit, as both companies shared a vision of developing game-enhancing equipment for avid players. What’s more, the companies had complimentary products: Wilson was the leader in gloves, balls and protective gear, while DeMarini made the world’s finest bats. According to Chris Considine, Vice President/General Manager of Wilson Sporting Goods: "The thing that struck me most about DeMarini was their passion for sports and their true competitiveness.
Within a year, DeMarini unveiled the industry’s first concept bat, the $35,000 F1. Secured under lock and key at the DeMarini Bat Industrial Complex in Hillsboro, Oregon, the F1 served as a technological storehouse for future products, including DeMarini’s landmark Half & Half system.
In December 2001, 12 years after the genesis of DeMarini Sports, Ray DeMarini died of cancer in his Northwest Portland home. He was 55. The next summer, the Portland Metro Softball Association paid homage to the “King of Softball” with the dedication of Ray DeMarini Field. Formerly known as Delta #1, the field was DeMarini’s favorite place to test bats during the early days of business. Ray DeMarini—bat maker and player extraordinaire—was remembered for his high-performance softball bats and unwavering encouragement of everyday players. Today, a 40-foot sign announcing RAY DEMARINI FIELD graces the outfield, and an interpretive display chronicling Ray’s life greets players as they register for games.
More "Insane Dedication to Performance" is in store for tomorrow.
