Questions and Answers for DeMarini Versus BBCOR Baseball Bat: DXVSC
What is the proper way to use the DeMarini rotational index to evenly break-in a bat? I see it mentioned but not explained how to properly use it. (Rotation index)
The rotational index on the DeMarini Versus BBCOR Baseball Bat (DXVSC) will be a numerical ring around the top of the barrel. This numerical ring is intended to help players be aware of what side of the bat they are hitting with, and avoid wearing out a single-side of the bat. Additionally, all composite bats will require a break in period of 100-120 swings off of a tee or soft toss. The bat should be rotated about 1/4" or to the next point in the rotational index every twenty swings or so.

Therefore, I think this model would fit you perfectly.
