Pros: best bat i ever had
Cons:
Pros: i'm a contact hitter and this bat gave me the edge that I needed to hit the ball hard...I hit my first grand slam with this bat.
Cons: half and half style makes it hard to hit the really close inside pitches...its a great bat though
Pros: power power and more power if you make contact/contact hitter buy this bat
Cons: vibration on inside pitch
Pros: win.
Cons:
Pros: great pop mainly for home-run hitters because its end loaded.. but my whole team uses it
Cons: gets ugly real fast with a bunch of bat marks... but its not affecting performance...
Pros: My son is a small 8 year old who has been using a 27 inch 14 oz bat. I was hesitant to get this bat because all the reviews say it is head heavy. My son hit two stand up doubles in his first game with this bat. The ball comes off the bat hot. The graphics are cool and my son loves it.
Cons: My son has to wipe the bat down after every game so everyone can see the skull in the next game :)
Pros: Just holding this bat, you can tell it's made with high quality material. It's a far cry from the $50 bats in sporting good chains. While expensive, you definitely get your money's worth. My 10 year old son has been using (30in/17oz) for a few weeks with great success. No question, the ball jumps off the bat. He's a contact hitter, but has been sending the ball to the outfield with every solid hit.
Cons: none so far
Pros: My son has been using this bat his last 4 games now. He has never been a power hitter before. But now he is crushing the ball with this bat. It is unbelievable. I am so Impressed. Thank you DeMarini!!!!! Wow...............
Cons: None at all. This bat is hott, hott, hott...........
Pros: evreything abuot it.
Cons: I got nuthing.
Pros: It looks sweet and I'm hoping to use one this summer! I know I'm going to hit some bombs with it!
Cons: Nothing at all!
Pros: The composite handle helps me hit homeruns. 14 homers in the first month of using it!!!
Cons: NONE
Pros: Great bat, large sweet spot, lot's of hard long hit's.
Cons: NONE
Pros: best bat ever i love the graphics! 3 home runs in first two games
Cons: absotutely nothing
Pros: I have been hitting the ball so far with this bat.
Cons: may never appear
Pros: I got this bat this year mid-year. I got a 32-19 model. It's a great bat. I'm a contact hitter who can get power and I've hit about 5 doubles with this bat in about 10 games. The graphics are sick! The new technology makes this amazing bat series even wickeder.
Cons: A little top-heavy, but otherwise, it's a great bat!
Pros: This bat is great it has great pop and the look is amazing. Hits great when you first get it.
Cons:
Pros: its a great bat i slamed 1 out of the park its A suuuuuuuupppppppeeeeeeeeeerrrrrr bat
Cons: none it works fine
Pros: detailed design
Cons: i hit the ball pretty far but i hit it farther withe the s2
Pros: The sweet spot is big and my cousin just got the BBCOR bat and so far in 6 games I got 9 homers.
Cons: None so far with this bat
Pros: It's not that heavy and does not tingle when you hit it
Cons: Nothing at all.
Pros: auesome
Cons:
Pros: good
Cons: not bad
Pros: slightly end loaded seem to have great pop. Very pleased
Cons:
Pros: Great bat
Cons: no
Pros: I have the 28" 15 oz for my 5 year old son--the bat is excellent as endloaded and the composite handle is great as it absorbs stings. if the ball is hit on the sweet spot with a prety decent swing, the ball flies. my son hit a 120ft HR. take the pitches and hit the ball on sweet spot
Cons: if the ball is pitched inside, best to take the pitch as chances are-the ball will not travel that fast or far for 28" 15oz
Pros: this is a really good bat. so far in fall ball JBO i've hit 20 homers. great pop too!!!!!!!!
Cons: Expensive, but worth it
Pros: Nice bat first time using it got a game tying double in the bottom of the six. Very nice bat i would ge it.
Cons: don't really like how the bat looks
Pros: My son is nine years old and tall for his age. He just transitioned from the 2011 29/16 Voodoo to the 2013 30/17 version. The 2013 Voodoo seems to be a great fit for him and his style (bat speed, line drive hitter). The new bat provides a noticeable increase in pop. Balls seem to jump off the bat really well, particularly given the composite handle and alloy barrel design. My son and I struggled deciding between the CF5 and the Voodoo. After he used both bats, the decision seems like the correct one for him.
Cons: The bat seems significantly louder than past years' models and attracts a lot of attention during indoor training. This is a very small issue, however, and is not a problem that makes me grade the bat any lower than with highest marks.
Pros: This bat may not have a composite barrel, but it is still in my opinion better. Many other people have said so to. I took it to a demo house and i liked it better than the 2013 cf5, combat b3 gear, m2m, and vexxum. It is -13, so its very light, ut also enloaded so you can swing it fast and still get a lot of power. The weather also doesnt effect this alloy barrel. I like this bat and the s1 equally but probably this a bit more.
Cons: nothing this bat is perfect. Surorised they didnt use in LLWS.
Pros: Bat is great , my son is 8 and hes hitting bombs. Best bat ever.
Cons: None at all
Pros: Wow..great bat. My son usually swings 29 inch. Bought him a 30 in this because of the drop and he is crushing the ball! Major pop.
Cons: Didnt get this earlier for him.
Pros: Its the best bat
Cons:
Pros: I got this bat for my eight years old son. Who had been using a big barrel. The end loaded feeling that he was used to, came naturally with this bat. Has a great pop, and still great distance. And my son loves the graphics! Looks fierce, and is.
Cons: None
Pros: Sweet bat. My son is cracking the ball with it. 9 years old and he can really get the bat around with the nice drop.
Cons:
Pros: Great Bat...poping the ball to the fence now! Had to go an inch higher because of the -13 drop, but now more plate coverage
Cons:
Pros: great!
Cons: none!
Pros:
Cons:
Pros: this bat looked really good from the getgo....my son is a contact hitter but he really couldent get the ball to go far...i got him this bat and his first game with it he hit for the cyclone....nice jod demarini!!!
Cons: NOTHING AT ALl
Pros: This bat is wicked, cant wait to see what it can do for me this up coming season.
Cons: none
Pros: It"s composite and the ball bounces right off this bat. I got a booming homerun with this same bat.
Cons: It might not be legal in some little leagues
Pros: Great sound! Great looks! Great sweet spot! If you hit it on the sweet spot, it is a shot, the fielders will be ducking!
Cons: None so far.
Pros: Sweet hitting bat ball launches off of it
Cons:
Pros: Great pop, looks awesome, legal in most leagues, it doesn't scratch up, its light and hits the ball hard.
Cons: I got the 30" 17 oz. version for myself and its more like 29 3/4" 17 oz. but still the best expensive bat ive ever had. (this is only my second)
Pros: Lighweight Has good pop The price + being on sale
Cons: None
Pros: jam is 8 years old 2nd year for machine pitch baseball he loves his DeMarini Voodoo making hard hits to the outfield we love the sound of the ball hitting off the bat highly recommend this bat for great hitting
Cons: no cons
Pros:
Cons:
Pros: has great pop to it. hit four homers in one game with it
Cons: best bat
Pros: My son got this bat for his birthday and loves it. My high school team uses the -3 adult version and seem to really like it also. Sixty percent of the starting line up choose it over other similar models of a different brands.
Cons:
Pros: Nice swing and pop
Cons: Pricey
Pros: Hits like a $200 bat.
Cons: My 7 year old hit about 20 out of 40 coach pitch baseballs, when the handle telescoped into barrel. I've read reviews of this problem on other sites. So it's not simply a lemon, as I hoped when I ignored those reviews. Avoid.
Pros: Hits very well. Ball comes off bat extremely fast. My boy is biggerfor his age group but has sseriously hit the ball very hard with this bat. Took a few hits to break in but hitting very with it and very hard. Has great bat speed with this bat.
Cons: None right now. Very new yet.
Pros: I have been playing baseball for five years and the Demarini Voodoo is the best I ever had.
Cons:
Pros: Very light for excellent bat speed; quality materials; has become one of the team's favorit bats.
Cons: Being so light, the Voodoo has a little less pop than heavier bats. The trade-off is worth it for my son, who hits better overall with lighter bats.
Pros: My son had an older bat and was not hitting far or powerful with it. When I tired his bat it seemed dead. He was barely hitting to the fence line. We bought the new bat and tried it out. He hit 3 over the fence and all other shots were much more powerful. He has a championship game this week, he is excited to try it out.
Cons: None
Pros: has lots of pop, ball jumps off bat. i'm 13 and not a power hitter but with this bat,i've hit five to the fence.
Cons: paint chips alittle
Pros: Nice pop. I am 9 hit and hit 3 doubles.
Cons: Stings
Pros: Awesome
Cons: none
Pros: Wow
Cons: nothing
Pros: Nice light end loaded bat. Great for any type of hitter contact or power and it increases bat speed. Kids love the graphics the feel and the control they get using this bat. The awesome ping sound when the kids make good contact.
Cons: Not the biggest of sweet spots and if you miss it you can get some stingers. Kids used to swinging -9s or -10s might find this bat a bit too light.
Pros: This bat has Great Pop! I got this bat for my 10 year old son when he made All-Stars, first All-Star game he went 5-5, with 4 doubles. All were drives to the outfield!
Cons:
Pros: Liked the looks and the way the ball flew off the bat with my 6 year old.
Cons: The bat separated where the composite handle meets the alloy barrel. What I mean by separated is that you can push the handle up inside the barrel. That happened the very first day the bat was used.
Pros: bat has alot of pop good for poewer hitters drives the ball alot ferther
Cons: stings when u hit it.....doesn't sting if u hit it on the sweet stop but does if u dont
Pros: ball flys off bat im a singles type of guy ive been cracking Hr
Cons: Vibration
Pros: this bat had great pop! I could hit it further every at bat!
Cons: the one bad thing was the vibration, it hurt really bad, but you could get used to it.

About the Brand
In 1992, DeMarini Sports had something to celebrate. The three-year-old company had climbed a rung on the proverbial ladder of success, moving its world headquarters from a dirt-floored barn to a slightly larger metal shack. "It was a big move for us," recalled Ray DeMarini from the batting cage of DeMarini Sport’s present-day Bat Industrial Complex. "The new shop was larger, more storm resistant, and -best of all- it had a heater."
In the early days, DeMarini Sports hardly made a blip on the radar screen of softball. With no retailers and virtually no advertising budget, DeMarini grew steadily by selling high-performance bats directly to customers. While established companies made "juiced" bats for the pros and ordinary bats for the public, DeMarini focused on making one line of high-performance bats for pros and amateurs alike. This approach, combined with a passion for the sport, led to the greatest innovation in softball history - the world’s first multi-wall bat: the DeMarini Doublewall.
Released in 1993, the DeMarini Doublewall was the world’s first multi-wall bat. Like a modern golf driver or oversized tennis racket, the Doublewall had a giant "sweetspot," which allowed average players to hit like pros. DeMarini’s sales exploded, and before long opposing bat manufacturers to notice. DeMarini - a homegrown company led by a softball fanatic - had shaken the establishment silly.
To understand the rise of the DeMarini Dynasty, you need to know Ray DeMarini. A cult hero among avid players, Ray DeMarini emerged on the professional softball scene at the age of 40, a veritable geriatric among younger players. With a scientific approach to training, a batting speed of 96 miles-per-hour and a bombastic attitude, DeMarini fast earned a reputation as a savage competitor.
In June of 1987, ESPN launched a nationwide search for a hardcore player to advise on a series of instructional softball videos. When approached by producer Erich Lytle, the biggest boys in softball repeatedly spoke of a five-foot-seven softball giant—Ray DeMarini. DeMarini had mastered reflex hitting, a technique that drops the ball squarely between the infield and outfield. Impressed with DeMarini's knowledge and scientific approach to training, Lytle not only hired Ray as an advisor—he hired him as the host. Together, they produced Ray DeMarini's Reflex Hitting System, ESPN's most successful home video to date.
Having garnered national recognition through ESPN, Ray turned his efforts toward designing a high-performance bat for the masses. To accomplish this, he needed an engineer. "Not just an engineer," he said, "but a boot-strapping rocket scientist who could build an empire with pocket change." Ray's call was answered by Mike Eggiman. Having grown up on a farm, Eggiman was adept at making the most of a situation. Case in point: the company's first piece of automated bat-making equipment had the heart of an abandoned washing machine.
With Eggiman as Chief Engineer, DeMarini Sports delivered a series of industry firsts: the first multi-wall bat (Doublewall Distance), the first high-performance bat for massive players (Fatboy) and the first high-performance youth bat (Black Coyote).
In 2000, DeMarini joined forces with Wilson Sporting Goods to develop the next generation of hitting technology. Ray believed it was a perfect fit, as both companies shared a vision of developing game-enhancing equipment for avid players. What’s more, the companies had complimentary products: Wilson was the leader in gloves, balls and protective gear, while DeMarini made the world’s finest bats. According to Chris Considine, Vice President/General Manager of Wilson Sporting Goods: "The thing that struck me most about DeMarini was their passion for sports and their true competitiveness.
Within a year, DeMarini unveiled the industry’s first concept bat, the $35,000 F1. Secured under lock and key at the DeMarini Bat Industrial Complex in Hillsboro, Oregon, the F1 served as a technological storehouse for future products, including DeMarini’s landmark Half & Half system.
In December 2001, 12 years after the genesis of DeMarini Sports, Ray DeMarini died of cancer in his Northwest Portland home. He was 55. The next summer, the Portland Metro Softball Association paid homage to the “King of Softball” with the dedication of Ray DeMarini Field. Formerly known as Delta #1, the field was DeMarini’s favorite place to test bats during the early days of business. Ray DeMarini—bat maker and player extraordinaire—was remembered for his high-performance softball bats and unwavering encouragement of everyday players. Today, a 40-foot sign announcing RAY DEMARINI FIELD graces the outfield, and an interpretive display chronicling Ray’s life greets players as they register for games.
More "Insane Dedication to Performance" is in store for tomorrow.
