Last year there were two different Mystique bats and I was really pleased with the red and black one. Is there a difference between the two from last year and if there is is there a 2013 model of the red and black one from last year? sammyk580
As far as we know, there was only one Easton Mystique bat last year, which was the red and black model. The other Mystique (the white and blue one) was actually a 2011 model. Nothing major has changed since 2011 and the new 2013 Easton Mystique: FP13MQ replaced the red and black model from last year.

That really comes down to the bat you've been using. It's always recommend that a player stick with the same type of bat they have used in the past with the most success. In doing so, the player is much, much more likely to have continued success at the plate. For many power hitters with fast swing speed, the 2013 Easton Mystique: FP13MQ Fastpitch is a little too light and balanced.

My daughter has been using a 31" 19 oz Easton Atmos bat from two seasons ago. She loves this bat, but it is always the bat coaches grab for fielding practice and it has taken a beating.
