The Brett Bros. GOBON Wood BBCOR Bat (GOBON271) Adult has a Bamboo center with maple wrapped around the outside. It is also a 271 turn model along with a fiberglass handle. It also offers a 120 day manufacturer warranty.
The KR3 Maple Fibre-Loc Composite Wood Bat (MFL243) Adult is a 243 turn and offers a 2.55 inch barrel. It uses maple wood with a fiberglass biaxial sleeving applied with rock resin epoxy for durability. This bat offers a 90 day manufacturer warranty.

How is this bat comparable to the Baum bat in terms of pop and durability? Tim
The performance or "pop" of the Baum Bat Composite Wood Baseball Bat (AAA Pro) and the KR3 Maple Fibre-Loc Composite Wood Baseball Bat (C243) would be very comparable. The durability of the Baum bat may be a bit better but both bats would have above average durability for composite wood models.

Thanks! Obviously the price is much different than the Baum bat but why do most people lean towards the Baum. Will the pop last as long for the maple fibre-loc? IS there a drastic difference in barrel size? Tim
I believe that most people lean more towards the Baum in comparison to the KR3 Maple Fibre-Loc Composite Wood Baseball Bat: C243 Adult because of the fact that Baum offers a four month warranty in comparison to the 90 day manufacturer's warranty. That extra month offers customers a little bit more peace of mind when purchasing a composite wood baseball bat. Additionally, I believe Baum composite wood baseball bats are of a little higher quality. As far as the barrel size goes, there is a .05 inch difference between the two which is insignificant to say the least.
