My 14 year old son hit very well this spring/summer with a Marucci Black BBCOR bat. He needs to switch to a wood bat this fall. Should he be thinking about an Ash bat like this one or a Maple bat?
The main benefit to ash wood bats is they will feel a little lighter than maple.. Most big league players prefer maple though because the maple wood is a little harder.
