Pros: Has great pop. feels good when you make contact with the ball.
Cons: The only part i dont like about this bat is the design of it. everything else is just what you are looking for in a baseball bat.
Great Feel Luke player
Pros: I am a guy who likes to use a one piece just because of the truer feel once contact is made. this bat allows for a great feel with contact. also has some great pop
Cons: the design could be alittle flashier but performance wise its great

Great One Piece Nate player
Pros: It is very balanced and feels a lot lighter than it actually weighs. The only reason, in my opinion, that the price is cheaper from other good bats, is the design, which is a little plain. It has just as much pop as any other bat I have had. It also has a great grip.
Cons: None except how it looks.
GREAT BAT Josh player

Cons: design
good bat jared player

I KNOW THE BAT THE BAT KNOWER player
Pros: IT HAS POP...HIT ONE TO THE FENCE...FENCE WAS 346FT....DID NOT SWING HARD...PITCHER WAS THROWING ABOUT MID 70s...JUST MADE CONTACT ON THE SWEETSPOT AN THE BALL WENT FLYING...AND IT WAS A LINE DRIVE
Cons: YOU CAN SAVE YOUR MONEY BECAUSE ITS LIKE A OMAH BAT...JUST DIFFERNT NAME AND COLOR
Everybody makes mistakes! Even LS Kevin O coach
Pros: After dry swinging a couple dozen BBCOR bats - and demo-ing the '15 515 Omaha at our local shop - my son agreed to give the Assault a shot. Balance is fantastic. To my player, it was the best feeling 1 piece Aluminum bat on the market. The handle bias in the weighting makes the swing weight feel lighter - and the benefits my son recognizes are: 1 - more swing speed and 2 - better control when he needs to adjust mid-swing. Really seems to drives the ball well. This bat is a really solid value at current (October 2014) price-point. Already a favorite bat of some of several of my son's team-mates.
Cons: There are only 2 that come to mind. 1. Why did LS ever drop the Omaha name? 2. The metallic paint is sharp - but scuffs and chips easily. That said - I like the quiet color-way and quiet graphics. The bat is a sleeper.
LS Assault Coach Dusty parent
Pros: First bbcor bat my son has used and he likes it. Stopped using his Easton. Durability is good. Weight and swing is very nice. Purchased this bat for the quality and perfomance based on the LS Omaha series bats my son has used in the past. Great product for the price.
Cons: None at this time.
Best investment johanny player
Pros: Best bat I had so far, best $70 ever spent, it has increadible pop, it's light weight, doesn't vibrate at all. Perfect for practice and games. In my opinion this is a better bat than the omaha 515 and any other bat out there. If u are looking for a a good bat with pop and light weight for a good price I highly recommend this bat.
Cons: Don't have one
Bad pop but durable Jack player
Pros: Light swing weight
Cons: Lost all pop after 30 days Loud ping noise
Great bat blue 8 player
Pros: For the $ you cant beat it good pop, balanced. This bat is comparable to the VELO just cost less
Cons: none
solid bat Coach Tom coach
Pros: Solid bat. This is the Omaha. If you watch college baseball you will see the old blue and green Omaha stil in use accross the country. It is a proven performer. Fast through the zone but you can still feel the barrel through the swing unlike the handle weighted bats. More like a wood bat. Has as much "pop" as any of them. Best deal out there right now.
Cons: No flashy paint job. but only a con if you like that sort of thing.
Great Bat Coach/Dad coach
Pros: Soft feeling, good pop. My 13 yr old son swith from the Rawlings 5150 to this. Son loves it after first game

31-32 assault BBCOR bats Kenny C. parent
Pros: Solid performer this season . Got that sweet Ping noise when it's hit correctly and it gets hits. At this price, there really is nothing to complain about. For certain hitters out there this will be a great tool for their hitting needs. My son made good contact with the ball . He is 14 and my 12 yr old loves his senior league version and took his hitting to another level and they have been durable!
Cons: None as I can tell.
Parent Mark parent
Pros: Great bat. Don't believe any talk about durability issues. My son out grew his bat. I took it to a tree just to see what it would do. Nothing after 10 swings. Son broke his collar bone and missed 9 weeks. Used the tree bat because it was lighter when he started back. Still has pop and is perfect.
Cons: None

About the Brand
In 1842, J. Frederick Hillerich emigrated with his family from Baden-Baden, Germany to the United States. Eight years before, the 1834 Book of Sports had made its debut as the nation's first publication covering baseball. But when he arrived in Baltimore, J. Frederick Hillerich would never have dreamed of the future impact his family would have on America's favorite pastime.
After a short while, the Hillerichs moved to Louisville, where J. Fred started a woodworking shop in 1856. Two of his sons, Adam and John Andrew "Bud" were born in the United States and would later join their father in his business. By 1864 "J.F. Hillerich, Job Turning" was in operation and filled orders for businesses by custom-turning everything from balusters to bedposts.
The firm thrived, and by 1875 the little woodworking shop employed about 20 people. In 1880 Bud Hillerich, who was an amateur baseball player, became an apprentice in his father's shop. Young Bud made his own baseball bats along with bats for several of his teammates.
The debate over the origins of the first bat continues to generate controversy among baseball enthusiasts, but the younger Hillerich was most certainly involved in getting his father's business involved with what would become the company's signature item. According to company legend, the first bat was turned by Bud for Pete "The Old Gladiator" Browning in 1884. Browning was a star on Louisville's professional American Association team - the Eclipse. On a spring afternoon Bud, then seventeen, witnessed Browning break his favorite bat. Bud offered to make a bat for his hero, and Browning accepted. After the young wood shop apprentice lathed a quality stick from white ash, according to the story, Browning got three hits with it in the next game.
Louisville Slugger gloves are worn by more pitchers in Major League Baseball than any other glove.
