Wood bats can be unpredictable, and it takes quite a bit of practice to learn how to hit with wood, and proper plate discipline. Many players have wood bats that last them well over 2 or 3 months.
Does this bat qualify for American Legion Baseball?
Yes! According to the 2012 American Legion Rules, "wood bats must not exceed 42 inches in length and 2 3/4 inches in diameter.†The Louisville Slugger Ash Pro Stock Bat is 2 5/8, so it will qualify!

I play 14u and we have to use BBCOR certified bats. Will I be allowed to use this bat in a night game, considering it gets pretty cold at night in Michigan?

The Louisville Slugger Ash Pro Stock Wood Bat: PSC243B is going to be more on the top heavy side because it is a 243 turn model. Because this bat is ash, it will be a little lighter than a similar bat made from maple.
Would you reccomend this bat or the M9 for someone who is a power hitter playing in high school for an all wood bat leauge?
A lot comes down to your personal preference. The M9 is maple and may be a little more durable than the PSC243B, which is ash. With ash, the ball feels a little softer coming off the bat and it won't have as much vibration. Some power hitters in the MLB use ash, but a lot use maple.
Whats the heaviest this bat is featured in?
This bat has an approximate -3 drop. With that being said, the heaviest it will be offered in is 31 ounces (on the 34 inch bat). Keep in mind that is an approximate weight since this is a wood bat.
is it good for my 13 year old child who can swing a -3 no problem???
Yes, I would recommend using a ash wood bat for a player that can swing a -3. Wood bats do feel slightly heavier than a alloy or composite -3 bat, I would suggest having him use it in a batting cage before if he has not hit with a wood bat previously to get use to the feel

This is a wood bat, it does not have to be USSSA approved or BBCOR approved to be legal.
I achieved minor fame in 1953-1961 using my favorite bat ----a Jackie Robinson model. I would love to have a replica to put over my fireplace and leave to my grandson, who is a major leaguer also. Can you help me???
