Im having a hard time deciding between the ap5 and the Jh22 but leaning toward the jh22. Do u think the tapered handle is that much of a difference? It seems like the jh22 has a bigger barrel tho. Do u guys have any preference? RIP
Both of these bats are going to be great bats. These are 2 of our top selling wood bats. The main difference between the 2 is that the JH22 is going to be slightly end loaded.

I am not comfortable paying $119 for a wood bat, but like the looks of the jh22 model. Any suggestions on something similar? Gregg
Based on personal experience and some customer feedback, I would recommend Pearson's Pro Model bats. They are made from high quality Maple and retail at $79.99. After Pearson, I would recommend Carolina Clubs line of maple bats. Both Pearson and Carolina Clubs maple bats are high quality and are similar to Marucci. Marucci makes some top of the line bats that are pretty hard to beat though.

A BBCOR bat will have more pop than a wood bat. The wood wraps around the ball more which decreases the pop.

What makes this bat diiferent than the AP5 and VW10? Zach
The VW10 model will be a very well balanced bat with a traditional knob and a medium barrel. The AP5NB will have a long barrel with a tapered handle which makes the bat feel lighter, it features a large barrel. The JH22 is going to have a large barrel with a massive hitting surface giving it a slightly end loaded feel.

The weight will vary on this bat due to the different amounts of moisture in each bat. The weight can be -3 or -2.

The CU26 will be the more balanced of the three bats in question. The JH22 is slightly end loaded, which may be more suitable for a power hitter. The AP5 does have a tapered handle and a long barrel but maintains a balanced feel.
