Pros: Bought two 2 3/4" -10 bats for the team, the boys are driving the ball for more distance. I would like to attribute it to coaching but we all know it is the new bats with the bigger sweet spot and pop. I will buy Marucci again when the boys outgrow these bats.

Pros: The bat has a lot of pop.

Cons: Bought a bat pack with 29" 19 oz. and a 28" 18 oz. for my son just over a month ago. Within two weeks had to return the 29" because of a crack down the barrel then last Sunday the 28" broke in half on a hit during a game.

Pros: My 12 yo son hits the heck out of the ball with this bat. Good weight and balance, lots of action. He likes the looks of it too.

Cons: Durability. 1st bat cracked after ~3 months, then the replacement cracked after ~1 month. Not abuse or misuse, just poor durability of the product. I understand alloy are more delicate, but a month?! We paid for shipping defective bats back, and it still took 3 weeks for Marucci to replace.

Cons: My son plays 11U and complains of it stinging. The end cap spins after one week. You can hear a loud vibration when he hits with it. He had his first tournament with this bat but went back to his Easton S3 after a few at bats and left this one in his bag.

Pros: Great bat, until it cracks, which it will.

Cons: I read the reviews and saw several people have problems with this bat cracking, usually early in its use. Despite my better judgment, I thought, "what are the odds, I'm sure it will be fine." My son used the bat in one practice and it was great. He hit the ball far all over the field. Then came the first at bat in the very first game, after having the bat for one week....CRACK! I have not gone through the warranty process yet, but ironically one of his teammates just went through this with their SECOND Marucci that cracked. Marucci honored the first bat, but wouldn't do a thing about the new one of his since it was already a warranty claim. How fair is that??? Needless to say, no Marucci fans around here!
