There is no difference between the different color options of the Marucci Team BBCOR (MCBT) bats.
Do both the Marucci Team preBCOR: MSBT5 Black Senior League and the Marucci Team BBCOR: MCBT Black Adult have the USSSA 1.15 BPF thumbprint on them?
The Marucci Team BBCOR (MCBT) Black Adult the BBCOR .50 Certification stamp and does not have the USSSA 1.15 BPF stamp. The Marucci Team preBCOR (MSBT5) Black Senior League does feature the USSSA 1.15 BPF stamp.
I'm 5'8", 110 lbs. and 16 years old. I'm looking for some extra bat speed and pop. I'm considering the Marucci Team or 2014 Vexxum NVS. Recommendations would be appreciated. Also, is this bat a sequel to any of the other Marucci bats? Thanks.
The Marucci Team BBCOR (MCBT Black Adult) would be a sequel to the Marucci CAT 5 BBCOR. The Team will be very balanced and have a light swing weight. The 2014 Vexxum NVS will also have a light swing weight and a two-piece design. The Vexxum will eliminate more hand sting and vibrations with its two-piece feel and composite handle.
Is this bat safe to use in batting cages with out damaging it?
The Marucci Team BBCOR (MCBT) can be safely used in batting cages or batting practice. However, this bat is designed to hit approved baseballs only. Yellow dimpled cage balls used in many batting cages are not what this bat is meant for. Hitting those type of balls can cause unwanted damage to the bat and cause problems with the durability.
I'm 5'7" and 140 lbs. I'm heading into a league where BBCOR certified bats are required. What would be best for me, 31/28 or 32/29?
The Marucci Team BBCOR: MCBT Black Adult bat would a good choice for your first BBCOR bat. It will feel very light and balanced. The 31" 28 oz should swing the best at your size.
What kind of warranty do you guys have on your bats?
The Marucci Team BBCOR: MCBT Black Adult comes with a full 12 month manufacturer's warranty. Most bats come with a warranty ranging from 1 month to 400 days. The length of the warranty depends on the bat and the manufacturer.

Will this bat crack if I use it with the yellow dimpled balls?
It is not recommended to use the yellow dimpled balls that are used in some batting cages with any bat we sell. The bats we sell are intended to hit baseballs or softballs depending on the bat you choose. Structural damage, decreased performance, and decreased lifespan can occur if the bat is used with unintended products. Also, damage caused by these balls could void the manufacturers warranty in some cases.

I do not think the Marucci Team BBCOR bat will get banned like the 33" Marucci CAT 5. The 33" 30 oz. CAT 5 was the only size that was decertified. Marucci has since done a great job of testing their bats to make sure they are legal for play at the different levels. If the Marucci Team does lose its BBCOR certification, the NCAA and NFHS will be the governing bodies that make this ruling.

Would it be too heavy, in your opinion, for a 13 year old who is 5'3 and 100 pounds?
Based on that height and weight, a 29" bat is recommended. Since the smallest size we currently have available is a 31" 28oz, these sizes will probably be too large for you. However, if you feel like you can swing a 31" bat, then I say go for it! It shouldn't hurt anything.
I'm and 8th grader and about 5'4'' and 125 lbs. and wanting to upgrade from a 31 in. 28 oz. Easton Hammer. Would this be a good upgrade?
The Marucci Team would definitely be a great bat to upgrade to. The Team is a full alloy bat like the Hammer and you shouldn't have any problems switching to this bat!
