My best friend and I think Marucci bats are one of the best or the best on the market.
The Marucci Black 2 is the better quality bat, due to it's composite handle and extended sweet spot.

They're both going to give you the same result. Composite bats require a break-in period, but generally last longer. Alloy bats require no break-in, but may not last as long as a composite bat.

Marucci just released a newer version. You will see all manufacturers update bats every season. Mainly for marketing and performance purposes. The Marucci Team BBCOR: MCBT Blue Adult model will be just as good if not better than the model CAT 5.

Your swing speed would be very similar with either the Marucci Black or the Marucci Team bat. The main difference is the Marucci Black has a composite handle whereas the Marucci Team bat is a one-piece fully aluminum bat.
I've swung a lot of alloy bats and if you hit it in the wrong place it hurts a lot. Since it says anti vibration is there any sting at all?
One-piece fully aluminum bats will still have vibration if you hit the ball off the handle or the end of the bat. The Anti Vibration technology will greatly reduce the amount of vibration that travels through the bat though.

The CAT 5 was one of the highest performing BBCOR bats on the market, but it has been discontinued and we no longer have any in stock. I think the Team bat is comparable to the CAT 5, but it will be hard to match the CAT 5's performance. If you prefer a one-piece bat, go with the Team, if you have traditionally used two-piece bats with success, go with the Marucci Black.
For the money, is the Marucci Team series just as good as the 2012 DeMarini Voodoo?
That depends on who you ask. The Marucci Team bats are stiff, one-piece bats. The DeMarini Voodoo is a two-piece bat with more flex. Both are high performing bats, just depends on whether you prefer a two-piece or one-piece bat.

I do not think the Marucci Team BBCOR bat will get banned like the 33" Marucci CAT 5. The 33" 30 oz. CAT 5 was the only size that was decertified. Marucci has since done a great job of testing their bats to make sure they are legal for play at the different levels. If the Marucci Team does lose its BBCOR certification, the NCAA and NFHS will be the governing bodies that make this ruling.

Based on that height and weight, a 29" bat is recommended. Since the smallest size we currently have available is a 31" 28oz, these sizes will probably be too large for you. However, if you feel like you can swing a 31" bat, then I say go for it! It shouldn't hurt anything.
I'm an 8th grader and about 5"4" and 125 lbs. and wanting to upgrade from a 31 in. 28 oz. Easton Hammer. Would this be a good upgrade?
