Questions and Answers for Mattingly Ripped: RPDFP Fastpitch
looking for a good not so costly bating cage bat for practice, your not supposed to use composit bats in the bating cage right? she has a miken freak and a miken rain not cheap i do not want to damage them.
Once you break in the composite bats, it's best not to use them in the cage. That just depreciates the life of the bat, so most people do purchase a cheap bat for batting practice. The Mattingly would definitely be a good option for what your needing.
Hi! Are you familiar with the performance of the MB5500 Atomic Allow in the Mattingly V-Grip Ripped Fastpitch Bat? Thanks.
The MB5500 Atomic Alloy is Mattingly's highest end alloy so it will perform better than their bats that do not have it.
My daughter's coach recommended a 31" -12 Mattingly V Grip bat for her in her local Travel League -- she is 10 YO --Is this suitable?
The 31 inch would be an appropriate size for your daughter.
Is this bat composite?
No it is a one piece all alloy bat.
Your expert said this bat has a traditional round handle. This is not correct - this grip has a V-grip
This bat does, in fact, have a V grip. Thanks for the correction.
does this bat have the v-grip handle
No. It has a traditional round handle.
Will going up in length, but staying at same weight, decrease bat speed? IOW... Will bat speed be reduced if a girl goes from a 30"-10 to a 32"-12?
The longer length of the bat might slow down bat speed slightly. But shouldn't be dramatic since you are keeping weight the same.
