Does the bat have an "ASA" approved stamp or sticker.whats the weight?
Unfortunately, the MaxBat Maple Wood Softball Bat: SB1 does not have an ASA stamp on the barrel. It has an approximate -4 length to weight ratio.
I'm torn between getting this bat or the Phoenix SB3. Are they comparable or pretty much the same bat?
Yes. The are comparable, however the Phoenix SB3 will have a slightly thinner handle.
Is this bat USSSA approved for use in 2012 and what is the barrel diameter? Thanks!
All wood softball bats are ASA approved, and are 2 1/4" in barrel diameter unless otherwise indicated.
Is this Bat good for power hitters, or do you recommend another Model?
