Can this be used for middle school 8th grade?
Most middle schools will not allow 2 3/4 inch barrels. Some middle schools also require the bats to be BBCOR certified. We recommend checking with your school official for exact rules.

The 2012 Metalstorm Green Diamond -8 would be a better fit for you currently, but if you got the -5 you would be better adjusted for when you have to use a -3 in high school.

Why did you make two models ms2pgd and ms1pgd which one is better and or how to choose between the two?
The MS2 is a two-piece bat. The MS1 is a one-piece bat. Two-piece bats are better suited for contact or gap hitter looking to add a little more pop to their hits. One-piece bats are stiffer and better suited for stronger hitters with above average swing speed. It all depends on what type of hitter the player is. If he's somewhere in between, I would go with the MS2.
