Andy B.

Pros: Just got this bat today! It is AMAZING... Took the wrapper off and was hitting balls on a rope through the infield. Well balanced and swings effortlessly. A friend of mine swung it and will be buying one of his own tomorrow. Keep up the great work Miken!

Cons: Non at the moment.

Pros: Ok obviously Andy B has probably never picked up this bat in his life, as his review is on every single website that deals miken. Unlike him, I ACTUALLY own this bat in a 27oz balanced Im a smaller guy and im hear to tell you this bat doesn't fell as heavy as mosts 27 oz due. I got about 100 hits off it today and let me tell you when you hit the sweet spot it goes! It was a nasty wind blowing cross ways across the field towards home plate and I probably had a couple in the 260-275 range. Im by no means a power hitter but the ball really seemed to jump off the bat.

Cons: none yet. too early to tell

Pros: Don't you think that this bat has plenty of pop. It does I've been trying out for the past week now. And wow talk about distance I'm hitting balls a extra 20 to 30 feet and not even feeling like I'm swinging hard. The two homeruns that i hit with this bat I didn't feel that I had a good hard swing on it and it just jumped off the bat. Can't wait to really break this bat in. I was use to the old recoil bat but the new one follows tradition .

Cons: If you missed the sweet spot it's a horrible weak hit.

Pros: Can't find a better bat for the price. Minimal break-in period. I use this bat in leagues that hit 40 core and 44 core and it hits the lower core balls farther. Great balanced feel. I would definitely recommend this bat. Have about 300 swings on mine and I am very pleased with how it performs.

Cons: Can't find any yet. If I do I will update my review.

Pros: Im here to tell you Im not a guy to take my time to put a review down but I do take the time to take in what others has written to get a general concensus to find the best bat possible. I play in league with unlimited arc and a mat so a good balanced bat is key. These bat has awesome control incredible bat and if get a 6-10 foot arc its syanara. I hit a ball one day and have seen lots of power hitters generally better than me hit farther than anything Ive seen yet and the lower core balls do fly farther! The one I hit was a cheap Demarini 44-375. Ball went anywheres between 325-350 and stopped by hitting a tree and Im just 5'8" but am musucalr at 230. Line drives are incredible the ball sounds like a missle coming off the bat Ive never heard that before. Buy one is all I can say!!! :-)

Cons: The ounces are one less than what your going for but lighter is better. My 27 oz. Really weighs in at 26.3

Do Not Like at All softballer player

Pros: Price

Cons: The weight is actually an ounce less than what it says. Seems to have a lot of flex, which I don't like at all. Overall, I would not recommend to anyone

Love this bat Keith player

Pros: So far love everything about this bat. I have the 30oz only because I like my bats a little heavy but its very well balanced (hence why Balanced is in it's name). Right out the wrapper there is insane pop. Me and a few other team members were hitting line drives and long bombs to the fence. Has about 60-70 hits on it and is just getting hotter. Has a solid grip on it so no use for batting gloves.

Cons: breaking it in is taking some time but that's just how it is

Looking to play some softball this summer, and I have a question. A tournament is coming up, and one of the rules states that we must use "ASA" bats only. USSSA bats are not allowed. Does this bat meet those regulations? Frank

You say this bat is good for the new ball with the 52 core but when the ball has been used for a couple games it's like a marshmallow. Will this bat still perform as if it was a new ball? bbayley
The 2014 Miken Recoil Balanced ASA: SRECBA Slow Pitch is tested with the new 52 core balls and is designed to perform very well with the 2014 Miken Recoil Balanced ASA: SRECBA Slow Pitch and be durable.
Kara
Could you compare this bat to the new Miken Ultra ASA? cutlet
The 2014 Miken Recoil Balanced ASA: SRECBA Slow Pitch uses new 750X HPI Technology for enhanced performance and durability compared to the 2013 Miken Ultra ASA.
Kara
Can you use this bat in 50 degree temps? kennyk
We do not recommend using any non-wood bat, including the 2014 Miken Recoil Balanced ASA: SRECBA Slow Pitch, in temperatures below 60°F (16°C). In those temperatures, the ball becomes much more dense and could damage or shorten the useful life of your bat. Composite can crack, and alloy can dent, so neither material is proven to be better in cold weather, unfortunately.

During the past few years, serious softball players have looked to Miken Sports for bats that provide the highest levels of performance and durability. Our relentless focus on both technology and the demands of players has made Miken the most demanded line of softball bats today.
