Pros: My son is 11 about 5'1" and weighs 72 lbs he has always struggled with power. Not anymore he's hitting the ball deep consistently. Never gets stingers as well. Great bat my son has tremendous confidence at the plate now and can't wait to go to practice now. Everyone needs to buy this bat for their son. It will revolutinize their game. Thanks Rawlings!!!
Cons: All the kids on the team want to use it. Need to tell the other Dads where to buy one.
Steven T
Pros: Looks great, evenly balanced. Bought this for my 9 yr. old and he has great bat speed with it -13 drop is great. The ball explodes off this bat, just as good as a Demarani or Easton that costs much more. This bat is a steal!
Cons: All the other kids want to use it!

Pros: This is an awesome bat. I bought this for my nine year old son. I purchased the 29", -12. The day we received the bat we took it out to a practice field and hit a few bucket of balls with a friend. They both "Roped" the ball into the outfield several times. The ball pops off of the bat. I then brought to our next little league game. Several kids used the bat and were hitting the ball into the outfield for the first time. This bat is amazing and don't let the low price fool you. Right now it is the bat of choice for 3/4 of my little league team. Excellent!
Cons: Absolutely None.

Pros: Nice balance to the bat. Good pop right out of the wrapper. Vibration is minimal. Great alternative to the more expensive 5150 bats.
Cons: A little wear is showing on the graphics sooner than I would have expected.

Pros: Best bat ever!!!! I used to be an average hitter, with this bat I hit a triple, 15 doubles, and lots of singles. Very light bat, great for contact hitters. Good for going opposite field on curveballs.
Cons: Legit everyone on the team wants to use it, even though they have omens, cf4, cf5, and power brigade bats!!
bob
Pros: it has a nice barrel and sweet spot i hit 2 out in one game
Cons: after 5 or 6 games the bat curved
jdavid2002
Pros: My son is 10, playing with a 12U league team and I had him swinging a 2 piece bat from another mfg., but not anymore! This one piece bat is WAAAYYY undervalued - Fantastic weight balance throughout the length of the bat. The sweet spot is very forgiving with a sweet sound on impact and a industry leading trampoline effect. My son is now batting in the middle of the lineup and driving the ball on impact. In fact he gained almost a hundred points in his average but due to hitting the ball so hard, in the infield, he doesn't get credit for a better average because of the errors that are caused because of how the ball jumps off the bat. YOU KNOW YOU HAVE A HOT BAT WHEN 6 OUT OF THE 9 BATTERS IN THE LINEUP SWING IT OVER THEIR $299 BATS! Rawlings has me sold.
Cons: None have been exposed, even after hundreds and hundreds of contacts!

Pros: A++++,i have a 6 year old that hits the ball in the outfield on a rookie field everytime, and he is a jr. rookie, this bat is great,28/16 perfect size, thank you just bats
Cons:
mike3500
Pros: The large sweet spot makes it easier to hit one out to the outfield. Lots of my son's teammates like to use it during practice and games. It doesn't hurt when you hit outside the sweet spot. Also, the rubberized paint grips the ball better!
Cons: Shouldn't it cost MORE?
JJ
Pros: Huge sweet spot, great pop. My son consistently drives the ball into the outfield. Hits better with this bat than with his full composite bats that are triple the price. Would recommend this to any parent out there!
Cons: None!
PJ
Pros: I borrowed from my team mate, before using this bat we were 7/8 into the season and my best hit was a double after I borrowed got 6 or 7 triples.
Cons: NONE

Pros: My 8 year old is just starting out and needed a lighter bat. I wasn't looking to spend hundreds on a bat if my son ended up not wanting to play. So, I came here and found the right size at the right price. The free shipping both ways is a huge plus! He is hitting better and is really loving it! I also had a question so I called customer service and I have to say it was one of the best dealings I've had. As long as he plays, I will purchase from Justbats!
Cons: There aren't any cons. The other reviews were right. Every one on the team wants to use the bat!

Pros: Got this bat for my 7 year old (28"). Went to the field and he hit the ball great with this bat. Had lots more pop than his last bat. The weight is super easy for him to swing. Graphics and finish on bat are really cool too.
Cons: None yet...we'll see how the season goes.
javier

Pros: Cheap, durable, good pop. I bought this as a backup to my sons TPX Warrior and found it an excellent bat at a great price.
Cons: A bit tip heavy, gets ugly fast. The bat is better suited for home run hitters as it is a bit tip heavy. The TPX Warrior is a better balanced bat.

Pros: Awesome bat I got this about a week ago and I just started to drive the ball with it
Cons: Will get some stingers if you hit off the fists but that would only be in cold weather

My son is 8-1/2, 4'6, 86 lbs, big for his age. He has a 2013 Voodoo, 30-17oz. He used this Plasma at a game recently(we live in FL!)and crushed it everytime at bat. Is this a good bat for a 12 year old in Cal-Ripken League because I had an Easton reflex last time I played and I disliked it because it hurt when I hit it out of the sweet spot and it was a little to small in length but other than that it was an easy bat to swing. About the Brand
Rawlings is a major manufacturer of competitive team sports equipment and apparel for baseball, basketball, and football, as well as licensed MLB, NFL, and NCAA retail products. Rawlings is a major supplier to professional, collegiate, interscholastic, and amateur organizations worldwide, including the Official Baseball Supplier to Major League Baseball.
The first real innovation in glove making occurred in 1912 when Rawlings Sporting Goods Company introduced the "Sure Catch" glove, which was "endorsed by leading players all over the country." The Sure Catch was a one-piece glove with sewn-in finger channels and looked better suited for a duck's foot than a man's hand. Catchers' mitts used at the time were large and bulky with a single leather thong passing for a web.
In 1920, Bill Doak, a journeyman pitcher for the St. Louis Cardinals, approached Rawlings with an idea for improving the baseball glove from a mere protective device to a genuine aid in fielding. The "Bill Doak" model was so revolutionary that it stayed in Rawlings' line until 1953. Its key feature was a multi-thong web laced into the first finger and thumb, which created for the first time in baseball's young life, a natural pocket.
In 1925, Rawlings unveiled a three-fingered fielder's glove, and ten years later improved the Bill Doak model with a two-piece leather web. At the same time, the "T" web became a rage for first basemen's mitts. The pocket underwent a pronounced change in 1941 when the Trapper Mitt, also known as the Claw, appeared. The "Deep Well" pocket was so unique that Rawlings quickly patented it. The design was improved in 1950 by adding a leather piece across the top. Another significant creation occurred in 1948 with the three-fingered Playmaker. A five-fingered fielder's model, with all fingers laced together, provided greater pocket control.
The six-fingered Trap-Eze evolved in the 1960's. In more recent years, Rawlings produced the Fastback design, which gives a glove a snugger fit, greater extension, and overall control. The Holdster is a slot through which a finger can be extended for additional protection from impacts on the pocket. Then, there is the Edge-U-Cated Heel with its extended U-shaped lacing and the Pro H Web and much-copied Basket Web.
Some of Rawlings's more recent glove innovations also include the unique Spin-Stopper design which reduces ball spin when the ball hits the glove, and the Cantilever glove design feature that provides a cushioned area between the hand and the glove's palm area. In all, Rawlings has produced and patented more functionally innovative glove features and designs than that of any other glove manufacturer. The result is that the modern baseball glove is much larger, more comfortable, better padded, and made to last far longer than its ancestors. It is not uncommon to see today's Major League players wearing the same Rawlings glove they wore during their college playing days. In fact, Rawlings is the #1 glove in the major leagues. Rawlings maintains about 65 models of baseball and softball mitts and gloves in its line. The prototypes of virtually all of them have been field-tested by professionals before entering a sporting goods dealer's inventory.
