Description

RIP-IT builds their bats around the idea that every player should LOVE their equipment. That's why all of their bats come with a 30 day "Love It or Return It" performance guarantee. Seriously, RIP-IT will buy it back. You shouldn't have to even worry about that with this bat though, because the Prototype AIR -10 fastpitch bat completely changes the game. RIP-IT's new AIR Technology makes it clear from swing one that you are swinging faster, making better contact, and hitting further. In fact, the Prototype AIR delivers nearly twice the performance as the old Reaper and Force fastpitch bats. As bat speed and control are improved, you will begin to start making better contact and getting more distance on every single swing. With a new Harmonic Barrel, players can swing a bat where the barrel has been tuned to the exact frequencies that generate the most performance. The Prototype AIR will make you capable of so much more than you could even imagine. Its grip is also more comfortable than anything you've previously put in your hands. This incredible feel comes from RIP-IT's Ridge Grip that not only provides outstanding cushion and tack, but also completely eliminates sting from mishits. You just won't find a better fastpitch bat anywhere. And if you do, send the Prototype back. The Prototype AIR is approved for ASA, USSSA, NSA, ISA. It is backed by an exclusive 400 Day Manufacturer's Warranty. Free Shipping!

Pros: This bat has great pop, the ball comes off of it verry well. Very evenly weighted and great grip.

Cons: I've had to have 3 of these bats because they keep breaking. The first one broke in half, i was hitting off of a girl who pitched 68mph. The second and third one the ends popped off and were thereforth illegal. I do not recomend this bat.

Pros: Great balance. Nice looking.

Cons: Bat was a Christmas present for my daughter.....3rd use and the end cap came out. Replacement came within 2 weeks. First use and the end cap came out and the end of the bat cracked in three places. Try to buy USA whenever possible but will have to look elsewhere for the next bat. Do not buy this bat.

Pros: Great feel, excellent grip, and nice pop.

Cons: Had to send it back after less then two months of live pitching. The knob actually is threaded and became loose from the bottom of the bat. Also cracks are starting to appear at the top of the bat near the cap. Expected better. First time RIP-IT customer. Have to rethink next years purchase.

Pros: Lots of pop, great feel on contact, extremely well balanced.

Cons: Got it for Christmas 2012. Cracked second time I used it - doing tee work! Rip-It replaced it right away, cracked again doing soft toss. Sending it back for refund and will buy something else.

Pros: Looks nice.

Cons: First bat lasted 3 months, got a replacement and was told that it was the only replacement I would get. The second bat lasted 2 months, I couldn't even give it away! What a waste of money. I tell everyone I know to save their money!

Guin

Pros: Great Feel, good warranty.

Cons: Took our first bat back to the store and got a replacement in a week. After live pitching and some tee work the bat is making a rattling sound. My dd has lost confidence in this product and we are taking it back to the store and getting a different make. Another girl on her team had the same bat and the end cap popped off, she has exchanged it for another brand also. Back to the drawing board RIP-IT!

Lu

Pros: Lightweight

Cons: This bat is great until the endcap breaks...and it will break. We are on our third bat. RIP-IT does make returning the bat easy but says they will not refund our money until it happens for the third time...if they even will. I told them obviously there is a problem with this bat if the it breaks after a couple of uses each time. They said there have been only 3% returns on this bat so they don't consider it a problem. Well after reading these reviews, that is obviously not true. I would not buy this bat...I'm very afraid I'm going to be out all my money by the end of the warranty because it does not start over when you get your replacement bat..it is from original purchase date. It is just a matter a time before the next one breaks...

12u Daughter CTK2000 parent

Pros: Bought this bat for my 12U daughter last year. It took her a month or so to adjust to the longer length. After that her hitting, and power, really took off. The bat seemed to have a break in period. Since then the ball has really jumped off of the bat.

Cons: None
