I am a line drive hitter with some power. I want a bat that feels great in my hands, has great durability and is a balanced bat. I cannot decide which bat would be better for me the Sam Bat CD1 or the Marucci Cutch 22.

I would recommend the Sam Bat Maple Wood Baseball Bat (CD1) for a contact hitter. It is more balanced than the Cutch 22 and is very durable.

Is there any paint transfer on the ball from Sam Bats, the black models especially? Our league made black wooden bats illegal years ago because of it.

I haven't heard of any issues with the Sam Bat Maple Wood Bat (CD1) involving paint transfer regardless of the colors.

I'm deciding between this bat and the Marucci Jose Bautista Maple Wood Bat: JB19 Adult. I'm a contact hitter, I usually bat 2nd for my team. I'm a line drive hitter and I like well balanced bats. Which one should I get?

The Marucci JB19 Adult will be a balanced model that will have a light swing weight. The Sam Bat Maple Wood Bat: CD1 Black Adult does not feature a balanced swing weight. According to customer reviews on this bat is has a really solid balanced feel. It seems both would be a good option for you.

Are wood bats like these BBCOR and allowed in high school play?

Wood bats are not governed under the same BBCOR rules as non-wood bats. In a sense, as long as it is 100% wood, it will be legal for high school play. This bat is legal for play in high school and collegiate levels.
