Pros: Wow! First of all let me say that the service was outstanding! Bat ended up getting here a day earlier than planned. My 10 yr old plays on the allstar team as well as season ball, so its basically year round so I wanted a bat that will last for a while. She is hitting great with the bat. Has alot of "pop" and she hit her first home run with her new bat!! Price was good . Love this company !

Cons: None so far but I will watch closely as the earlier years of the vendetta series w rails have had alot of issues. So far so good! No complaints.

Pros: This bat is perfect for all types of hitters. Unlike previous vendetta models, this one helps sluggers/power hitters as well. For me, it was either the cf5i or vendetta. After taking some swings with each, I felt more confortable with it. I was a little skeptical due to the cf5's awesome reviews, but it's proven itself quickly.I'm hitting more liners and it's added 10-20 feet on my flyballs!

Cons: None.

Softball Dad...

Pros: Well balanced, nice feel

Cons: We bought 2 of these bats at the begining of our school season. Neither bat made it to the last game. One bat broke in half and almost hit the coach and the other had already separated from the handle at the rails. DO NOT BUY THIS BAT!!!! Dealing with Demarini has been trying as well.

Softball Dad - Metairie, LA

Pros: This bat has great balance and is hot. My daughter is 1 12 yer old all star and travel ball player. This bat has great pop. I like the double wall. It probably adds 20-50ft of distance to good hits. My daughter is a power hitter, and this bat certainly enhances her game. I recommend this bat for girls who do not have great upper body strength but have good mechanics and a fast swing. This is s well made bat!

Cons: None so far. My daughter has been using this bat for over a year.

Pros: I just want to say the reason some of you are having issues is becuase your not suppose to use a composite bat under 60 degrees. That makes the bat prone to cracking and breaking in half. Thats why i always carry an extra bat. So far I Love It!

Cons: No notice of anything yet!

Pros: I bought the 2011 model this Jan for my daughter. She used it 2 monthes then it died, made a funny noise when hit, sent it back to Demarini because it was still under warrenty. They sen it back and said since thiee was no structual damage it as OK, and it was my daughers fault for hitting the ball too far out at the end of the bat. I have no good things to say about Demarini, lost a customer.

Pros: My daughter is 11 and was using a 30/20 for the longest time. She's not the strongest of players, so the 32/20 I got for her has been a blessing. The bat is performing well and seems to have some great pop. Took awhile to break it in, but once it came around, her line drives were 10 to 20 feet longer and her fly balls definately carried farther. I would highly recommend this bat.

Cons: Took a while to break in.

I have seen earlier vendetta bat seperate at the rails, has this problem been addressed. My daughter is a power hitter and I am concerned using a 2 piece bat. sluggers mom

John

Being a composite bat, what would the recommended lowest temp to use this bat in? coach
50-55 degrees is the lowest temperature a composite bat should be used. In colder weather the ball hardens making the bat more prone to denting.
Kris
I have heard that bats have to be stamped with the new stamp for 2013. Would this bat be legal for 2013 girls fastpitch softball. My daughter will be a freshman in hs playing in a lot of USSSA tournaments. karla
The 2012 DeMarini Vendetta C6 will be legal until September 1, 2013. After that time, the new USSSA stamp will be required.
Brad
Does the bat sometimes break when you hit it? And is it comfortable and does it break in good? QuinnBot02
It's rare for it to just break when hitting with it. The Vendetta is know for it's feel and comfort and will require a standard break-in period for a composite bat.
Tyler
My daughter plays 14u and is a slap / singles hitter, would you recommend this bat for her? g
The Vendetta would be a great fit for a singles hitter.
KB
Is this bat certified for NCAA? coachumpi
Yes. This bat is ASA certified and legal for NCAA play.
Tyler
I weigh just over 100 lbs, and I'm about 5'2 and I prefer light bats. What size bat would be best for me? AddictedToMusic
Based on your height and weight, a 31 inch bat would be recommended. The 31" 19 oz DXVCF would be a great option.
Tyler
My 10 year old daughter weighs about 75 pounds and is about 4 feet tall. Which size bat should she use? Ana
Based on her height and weight we recommend a 28" 2012 DeMarini Vendetta C6.
Kara
I purchased this bat for my 10 year old. We haven't seen the pop yet with this bat and are not pleased so far. What is the customary "break-in" period before we give up completely on the Vendetta? kebb6
Thank you for your question. The 2012 DeMarini Vendetta requires a 150-200 hit break in period. You should start out on soft toss or on a tee and swing about 50% to start and work your way up from there. Also, make sure to rotate the bat 1/4 in. in between each hit.
Nick
Will this bat be legal next year with the new usssa regualations? ShortstopStud
The 2012 DeMarini Vendetta DXVCF will be legal until September 1, 2013. After that time, the new USSSA stamp will be required on all bats.
Tyler
What should you do to help break in the bat? Second base is mine!
I find that the easiest way to break in the composite bats is to take 200-300 hits off the bat. About every 10 hits I would roatate the bat a quarter turn to make sure you are breaking up the composite material on all sides of the barrel.
Derek
So this bat and many other composite DeMarini bats will not be legal for use in USSSA in 2013? Will the new composite DeMarinis in these models be legal for play in USSSA in 2013? Will
Yes, the 2013 DeMarini models are out and they do have the new USSSA stamp that is required for play in 2013.
Nick K.
What is the difference in the 2012 Vendetta model to the 2013 Vendetta model? softballlover
The 2013 DeMarini Vendetta C6 uses upgraded materials for added performance and increased durability.
Nick K.
I want to buy this bat for my 14 yr old daughter but without swinging/feeling the bat I'm not sure she will want it. If I purchase the bat and she does not like it, can it be returned for a full refund? Also, is the s/h paid both ways if she does not like it? Nick
As long as a bat is not unwrapped and used you may return it to Justbats.com for a refund at anytime. We send a free return label to you upon delivery of the bat that you purchase, making shipping back to us, free to you.
Shelbe
If the bat breaks, can you return it? jayd
The 2012 DeMarini Vendetta C6: DXVCF Fastpitch bat is covered under a one-year warranty through DeMarini. If it breaks within a year, DeMarini will replace it for you.
Tyler
What does it mean not USSSA approved for 2013? I am buying this bat but want her to be able to use it next year. Also the 2012 model has more color. Will it be approved for Little League play and tournament play in 2013? bob
The 2012 Vendetta will be legal until September 1, 2013. After that time, the USSSA stamp will be required on all bats. Little League does not follow USSSA rules, and the 2012 DeMarini DXVCF will be legal in Little League in 2013.
Tyler
What is the main difference between this bat and the 2013 C6 Vendetta? Derrik
For the most part, the main difference would be the change in paint scheme. The manufacturers may make a few adjustments to work on durability of the bat, but no major changes.
Derek
Will this bat be approved for high school softball in2013? hounds12
Yes. The 2012 DeMarini Vendetta C6: DXVCF Fastpitch bat is ASA approved and will still be legal in 2013.
Tyler
Is the 33 inch 21 ounce bat good for a tall, slender 14 and a half year old? She usually swings a 34 inch, and 24 ounce bat. But I'm suggesting to my daughter to use a litter bat for more bat speed. Would you recommend this bat for a girl this age? Thanks! Dave
If she's been using a 34" 24 oz bat and you're looking to increase her bat speed. A step down to a 33" 21 oz model would be a great choice.
Tyler
Is the 2012 Vendetta C6 approved for USSSA 2013 season? Apparently there is a new stamp required? jb
The new USSSA stamp is not required until September 1, 2013. The 2012 model of the Vendetta C6 does not have the newest stamp that is required to make it legal after September 1, 2013.
Tom
I'm looking for a bat to use in my high school team and travel. I'm almost 16 and about 5'5 and 130 pounds and I want to know what sizes I should get. Also I slap more than hit normal so I was hoping this would be a good choice Tiana
Based on your height and weight, a 33" bat is recommended with a weight between 21 and 23 ounces. The Vendetta C6 is a great bat for slap hitters.
Tyler
My daughter is 11 yrs old. This is her first year playing travel ball. She is 5' 2" and 155lbs. What size bat do you recommend? BIGG LARREE
According to our Bat Coach the suggested length for a player your daughters size would be a 33" 23oz. bat.
Tom

Tyler
My daughter is 11 and is 5'0 weighs 85lbs. been using 29" 17oz..too short. What should she use? kristen
The average size bat for a player of your daughter's height and weight is 31" with a weight between 19 and 21 oz.
Tyler
My daughter is 10 and is 4.5 feet tall and about 75lbs. She has started slapping and wanted to get some feedback on a good bat and size for 10U slappers. Thank you! DD
The suggested length for your daughter would be 30". As far as the type of bat, a two-piece bat like this DeMarini Vendetta would be better for a slap hitter because they have more flex at contact than a one-piece bat.
Tom
How long will this bat be legal in USSSA? 11000299
USSSA pushed the stamp requirement back to January 2014. So the 2012 DeMarini Vendetta C6 will be legal until then.

Tom
Is this an end loaded bat? K
The 2012 DeMarini Vendetta C6: DXVCF Fastpitch will be a two-piece bat with a balanced swing weight, so it is not end loaded.
Derek H.
My daughter is 8 yrs. old and I am looking for a bat with a little extra pop. I bought her a Rawlings bat last year but it vibrates a bit. Her bat size was a 28" with a weight of 15 oz. She has grown since last year but how close to this size can I get in the Vendetta in the 2012 model? corey
The 2012 Vendetta is discontinued and we will not be getting any more sizes in stock. The closest option right now would be the 31" 19 oz. model.
Tyler
My daughter is a 12 year old power hitter. Is the 33" 21 oz. (-12) the right size? Or should we go bigger? She likes a little weight. Bones
The recommended length to use for a 12 year old player is a 31" bat. You could think about a 32" 2012 DeMarini Vendetta C6: DXVCF Fastpitch bat, but a 33" may be too big. It just depends on what your player can handle. I would stick around the -12 size. I would not go any heavier than a -10.
Brandon
Would you recommend this bat for high school play or for younger girls? Gabby
The 2012 DeMarini Vendetta C6: DXVCF is actually a very popular bat at all levels. With a -12 length to weight ratio, it would be better suited at the High School level for a player who has average or below average strength and swing speed.
Tyler
Do they have this bat in 29"? If so, where? cooper
Unfortunately we do not have the 2012 DeMarini Vendetta C6: DXVCF Fastpitch bat in stock in a 29".

About the Brand

In 1992, DeMarini Sports had something to celebrate. The three-year-old company had climbed a rung on the proverbial ladder of success, moving its world headquarters from a dirt-floored barn to a slightly larger metal shack. "It was a big move for us," recalled Ray DeMarini from the batting cage of DeMarini Sport’s present-day Bat Industrial Complex. "The new shop was larger, more storm resistant, and -best of all- it had a heater."

In the early days, DeMarini Sports hardly made a blip on the radar screen of softball. With no retailers and virtually no advertising budget, DeMarini grew steadily by selling high-performance bats directly to customers. While established companies made "juiced" bats for the pros and ordinary bats for the public, DeMarini focused on making one line of high-performance bats for pros and amateurs alike. This approach, combined with a passion for the sport, led to the greatest innovation in softball history - the world’s first multi-wall bat: the DeMarini Doublewall.

Released in 1993, the DeMarini Doublewall was the world’s first multi-wall bat. Like a modern golf driver or oversized tennis racket, the Doublewall had a giant "sweetspot," which allowed average players to hit like pros. DeMarini’s sales exploded, and before long opposing bat manufacturers to notice. DeMarini - a homegrown company led by a softball fanatic - had shaken the establishment silly.

To understand the rise of the DeMarini Dynasty, you need to know Ray DeMarini. A cult hero among avid players, Ray DeMarini emerged on the professional softball scene at the age of 40, a veritable geriatric among younger players. With a scientific approach to training, a batting speed of 96 miles-per-hour and a bombastic attitude, DeMarini fast earned a reputation as a savage competitor.

In June of 1987, ESPN launched a nationwide search for a hardcore player to advise on a series of instructional softball videos. When approached by producer Erich Lytle, the biggest boys in softball repeatedly spoke of a five-foot-seven softball giant—Ray DeMarini. DeMarini had mastered reflex hitting, a technique that drops the ball squarely between the infield and outfield. Impressed with DeMarini's knowledge and scientific approach to training, Lytle not only hired Ray as an advisor—he hired him as the host. Together, they produced Ray DeMarini's Reflex Hitting System, ESPN's most successful home video to date.

Having garnered national recognition through ESPN, Ray turned his efforts toward designing a high-performance bat for the masses. To accomplish this, he needed an engineer. "Not just an engineer," he said, "but a boot-strapping rocket scientist who could build an empire with pocket change." Ray's call was answered by Mike Eggiman. Having grown up on a farm, Eggiman was adept at making the most of a situation. Case in point: the company's first piece of automated bat-making equipment had the heart of an abandoned washing machine.

With Eggiman as Chief Engineer, DeMarini Sports delivered a series of industry firsts: the first multi-wall bat (Doublewall Distance), the first high-performance bat for massive players (Fatboy) and the first high-performance youth bat (Black Coyote).

In 2000, DeMarini joined forces with Wilson Sporting Goods to develop the next generation of hitting technology. Ray believed it was a perfect fit, as both companies shared a vision of developing game-enhancing equipment for avid players. What’s more, the companies had complimentary products: Wilson was the leader in gloves, balls and protective gear, while DeMarini made the world’s finest bats. According to Chris Considine, Vice President/General Manager of Wilson Sporting Goods: "The thing that struck me most about DeMarini was their passion for sports and their true competitiveness.

Within a year, DeMarini unveiled the industry’s first concept bat, the $35,000 F1. Secured under lock and key at the DeMarini Bat Industrial Complex in Hillsboro, Oregon, the F1 served as a technological storehouse for future products, including DeMarini’s landmark Half & Half system.

In December 2001, 12 years after the genesis of DeMarini Sports, Ray DeMarini died of cancer in his Northwest Portland home. He was 55. The next summer, the Portland Metro Softball Association paid homage to the “King of Softball” with the dedication of Ray DeMarini Field. Formerly known as Delta #1, the field was DeMarini’s favorite place to test bats during the early days of business. Ray DeMarini—bat maker and player extraordinaire—was remembered for his high-performance softball bats and unwavering encouragement of everyday players. Today, a 40-foot sign announcing RAY DEMARINI FIELD graces the outfield, and an interpretive display chronicling Ray’s life greets players as they register for games.

More "Insane Dedication to Performance" is in store for tomorrow.
