Pros: We just got this bat today and took it our for BP. I have to say I was quite alarmed at just how much the ball flew of the barrel right out of the wrapper. My son is a 10 year old, big lefty, and we got a 30/20 for him and he was easily covering all of the plate with authority. It was a massive confidence booster instantly. The flex in the handle was also very impressive! It allowed for great trampoline and pop, all while hitting the ball all over the field. He also had little to no "bee's" in his hands from inside pitches. The barrel is perfect sized and sounds fantastic. This composite bat is a BEAST and is a great transtion bat for the kid pitch bats as the grow older and get bigger. Cons:The bat was pricey, but after reading my comments above, I swear it's worth every penny. Let's just hope it's durable becuase we want to have it for a LONG time!

Pros: I thought being a composite bat, it would need to get broken in. My 13 year old son hit his first double of season in his first game with this bat. Bat has had a tremendous effect on his hitting to this point. Expensive? Yes, but to this point has been worth it. Need to see how long this bat can hold up. If your in the market for a great bat that feels light and has great pop with no break in period needed, then this is the one hands down. Cons:None yet. Have not owned long enough to test durability.

Pros: My son plays on a 9U team. His bat speed is incredibly fast,so he's able to hit quick grounders for a high average. But he had never hit a home run. So I bought him this bat. Well, this past weekend on his second at bat with the 30" bat he hit a monster home run. Funny thing, the only other home run was a kid on the other team using the same DeMarini CF5 bat! Another good thing about the bat is the other kids see it is 30" and they think its too big so they don't use it. But as others have said, it feels lighter so it only takes a few practice hits to get used to it. Cons:It is expensive for a young kid. Also, we're very careful not to crack it.

Pros: This bat swings very balanced, and therefore, feels very light. I got my son (9 years old) a Marucci Team 28'/18 oz. in September. One of his teammates just got the 29"/19 oz. CF5 a few weeks ago. In comparison test, the 29/19 CF5 feels lighter then the 28/18 Marucci Team and has so much more pop. I am going to sell the Marucci and get my son the CF5. In fact, we are totally sold on the CF5 that my older son (13 years old) just purchased 31/23 CF5 with his birthday money. Cons:Price.

Pros: My 11yr old had owned combats, eastons and other bats before. Decided this year on this CF5-30in 20oz and this is by far the best bat he has hit with to date. Great pop awesome sweet spot and ripping that ball now like never before. Believe me it is well worth the money cause after seeing him rip that ball time and time again I would pay more for it. Pros: Son says it feels light. He has always had good bat speed. Broke it in with soft toss machine. He has always used Easton but it looks like we are becoming Demarini fans. Went 4 for 6 in first tournament. His two outs were still good hits. He is 13 and we purchased the 32" 22 oz. Cons:None right now. Just had it for two weeks. Hope it lasts the year. After reading some of the reviews I am worried about how long it will last. We only expect a composite bat to last one year.

Pros: It is extremely balanced. Unlike any bat out there on the market. Even lighter than the s1. This bat looks and feels sweet. I got the 33', but when it's in you hands, it feels like a 32. Ball really pops off this bat, and you can feel the trampoline effect in every swing. Gives you great feedback and has a huge sweet spot. This bat is a great choice for those on-base hitters who need the speed to get the bat across the zone. No matter what, GET THIS BAT! You won't regret it. Cons:Doesn't have that loud ping like the alloy bats, but still an awesome bat.

Pros: this is a really good bat... the bat is very balanced.the distance is decent.the pop is better than the 2012 cf5, but not WAY better. .. overall its a good bat Cons:the pop is pretty.. not worth the 300 dollars spent on the bat, maybe 250. a better bat would be the 2013 voodoo

Pros: Takes a bit of working in but then spectacular. My 12 yr. old son is so consistent with it they call him "The Machine," he hit a walk off grand slam in the playoffs to cap a rally win in the 7th. Cons:None.

Pros: (This is my first night using it) Nice Grip, Very light, Very balanced, Big sweetspot, Nice trampoline effect.(You can feel it) I hit the ball alot more than I usually do with the 2013 CF5. This bat feels more like a part of you than just a piece of metal hitting a ball. I have a -10, 31in. 21oz. Its light so I can bring the bat through the zone alot faster and I even have to wait back on faster pitches that I would have had to swing alot earlier before. Cons:(This is my first night using it) Not a lot of pop, Hard to break in, doesn't feel right a first. Throughout the practice, I kept say," I don't know if I like this bat or not." From other reviews, I expected to hit the ball hard, and hit the ball hard. Pitches that I hit on the perfect sweet spot did go as far as I thought they would. They may have gone farther with another bat. When I pulled the ball, it felt great, AND went far! I think I would have to use this bat more to like it.
