very good bat! Daniel player

Pros: this bat has a lot of pop. it is very durable. the sweetspot might not look big but if you hit the ball on any part of the letters (even the E) the ball will go. hit seven homeruns over a 250ft fence in one day.

Cons: if you hit it off the handle or the end it will sting a little.

I am looking for a bat for my 13 year old. This bat will be a transition bat for him since he will be in H.S. next year. What would you recommend for him? He is 13, weighs about 90-95 lbs, and is about 4'10" tall. KAG
I would suggest going with a 30" bat, but using a -5 not a -8. The jump from a -8 to BBCOR next year will be a a lot bigger of a jump then going from a -5 to a -3 bat. With that being said the Marucci Cat 5, or the DeMarini Vexxum would be a perfect match.
Noah

The 2013 Easton Rampage: SL13RP8 is made with Easton's 7046 Aircraft Alloy which is very durable, but won't have as much pop as their higher-end models.
Tyler

I love the Easton Rival but they don't make it no more. Would this be a good Easton bat to replace it with? I want it to feel the same as the Easton Rival. jotobraves123

That depends on the weight of your most recent bat. It's always recommended a player move up 1 or 2 ounces with each new bat and you should never move down in weight.
