Pros: I've had the chance to hit this and it's awesome! The ball explodes off the barrel and there no vibration. The D-fusion handle works perfect! Great bat!
Cons: Slight end loaded but expected with a Voodoo.
Pros: I got the chance this past weekend to hit with this bat at a demo day. this bat has amazing pop, no vibrations and the new d-fusion handle makes the ball explode off the bat. just ordered this bat and can't wait for it to come in.
Cons: None yet
Pros: I've been an Easton guy my entire life, but after using the 2014 DeMarini lineup, I am switching over to DeMarini. The CF6 and New Vexxum haven't improved at all, and this Overlord is the best DeMarini released in years.
Cons: Few, haven't found any yet.
Pros: This bat it hands down the best bat i have swung. So lucky i got to swing and have ordered mine.
Cons: Pretty sure there are 0!
Pros: the bat is alluminum so it has that banging sounds plus the defusion handle kills it and the bat feels stiff..... it look way sicker than the cf6, is cheaper, and barely swings heavier
Cons: they shoulda added red
Pros: The ball explodes off this bat better than last years VooDoo, or so this is what my son told me. He says it is still end loaded but swings great. He is small at 127lbs. for this bat, but seems to get around with it quite nicely. he said with a lighter bat he pulled the ball, now he hits a lot oppo and up the middle doubles and triples. He says less sting than last years VooDoo and better pop. We have never had a problem with a DeMarini so we expect it to last if we take care of it. If my son digs it, it has to be good. He is a little beast.
Cons: None.
Pros: this bat is amazing has tons of pop the D fusion handle kills ALL vibration, i've hit many balls off the end and i don't feel it at all, and when you hit it on the sweetspot the ball flies and it feels like nothing, the bats end load is perfect not to heavy but you can still drop the head on the ball, this bat is worth every penny. if you want a two piece hybrid this is the way to go.
Cons: none
Pros: Great bat, finally got to use it today and felt great. Amazing pop and the d fusion handle I'd perfect. I would get this over the mako or other popular bats.
Cons: None
Pros: This bat is the bomb! It has the best balance: not end loaded but still has great whip! Balls fire back when you make contact, and you feel no vibration whatsoever. The D-Fusion handle does its job, and this bat still has a good ping noise. Plus, it looks sweet!
Cons: The grip is good, but I feel like it will become slippery soon with minimal use.
Pros: There is little to no vibration and the ball absolutely jumps off of the aluminum barrel.
Cons: None
Pros: Really good bat right out of the wrapper bombing the ball like crazy. First up to bat bombed it for a double and many more to come!
Cons: Non what so ever it's a great bat.
Pros: I'm a power hitter on my team and this bat is perfect for any power hitter out there. End loaded but you definitely get used to it. Easily one of the top bats out there.
Cons: Paint starts getting chipped after about 7 hitting sessions (including games), but other than that, nothing.
Pros: Great pop and good sound off the bat too! I would recommend it to anyone, and even though it may be geared toward power hitters, it is great for contact hitters like myself. The bat also looks cool with the decals and the golden handle. No vibration at all! Great Bat!
Cons: Thick handle, but thats a personal preference
Pros: Great price, amazing durability, pop. Smooth feel after swing.
Cons: none
Pros: great feel, ball jumps off the bat
Cons: none
Pros: I got this bat today, went to the cage to break in my bat hit line drives and nothing but hard hits, great pop, best bat out there
Cons: NONE, i recomend for power hitters
Pros: the vibration was pretty good, but the bat broke in a week after a couple games I am never going to by this again, I'm definitely going to get the cf6 instead much better.
Cons: not that good of a bat
Pros: Very smooth and has alot of pop.
Cons: Ive had the bat for week. it was wonderful until i used it in the first game and it cracked in half
Pros: This is my first year playing baseball. I made my school's JV baseball team. I got the chance to use the Easton Mako. I really liked it because of how balanced it was. I did a lot of research on the Mako but not very much on other bats. I went in to get the Mako but came out with the Overlord. I didn't know what it was capable of but I am happy. I let my teammates use it and they like it also. I can barely swing but the ball still flies off of the bat effortlessly. I love it. But I'm still getting the Mako. Great Pop Nice Color Scheme No Vibrations Feels Great Loud "Ping"
Cons: Slightly end-loaded.
Pros: The bat is actually pretty balanced for a voodoo. The fusion handle actually does what it says it should do! You dont get any vibration down at your hands and you still destroy the ball! Plus it gives that ping noise that all ball players love and miss! Breaks in really quickly took me about 50-60 swings then it really just took off!
Cons: ABSOLUTELY NONE!
Pros: Used this first in tryouts and it turned heads immediately. The pop is unmatchable and the looks are awe inspiring. The paradox handle dampens vibration too used the overlord and it was amazing. Used wood the next day and I thought I had broken my hand after taking one off the end. Best bat on the market.
Cons: absolutely nothing at all I will definitely be buying more Demarini products in the future.
Pros: Great pop! I know its supposed to be end loaded but it felt balanced to me. Also there is no vibration!
Cons: None
Pros: Greatpop and it added distance to my hits. Also there is absolutely zero vibration. I know its supposed to be end loaded but it feels balanced to me.
Cons: A little piece on the inside of the barrel broke off after one week
Pros: Hit my first middle school honerun with this bad 320 ft bomb
Cons: None…… duh
Pros: This bat feels great. Good pop and a nice swing weight. With good contact te balls fly
Cons: none
Pros: No break in time, lots of pop.
Cons: Very unbalanced, end heavy.
Pros: Like all Voodoos that I've had before (4), great pop and feels food in the hands.
Cons: I always liked that the Voodoos were well balanced. I don't like the end loaded feel for the way I hit. Looks like it's time for me to find a new bat now. I'm bummed.
Pros: This bat has more pop than any other BBCOR I've seen. The old Voodoo was really good. This one is better.
Cons: none
Pros: Very ok. Good pop and end loaded, which I like. Has more pop than most of the bbcor bats out there.
Cons: Little overpriced
Pros: Good pop.
Cons: The handle fell apart in 2 weeks time. The rubber grip part of the tape separated from the rest of the handle. The grip gets slick in the rain.
Pros: Nice bat, works OK.
Cons: Bat rattles. I sent back the first one without any trouble but the second one rattles as well. I'm trying it out to see if it works and maybe the rattle is supposed to be there.
Pros: The D-fusion handle does exactly what its supposed to do and gives you a great feel when the ball pops off the bat. The ball flys farther than you'll expect and its great for contact hitters or power hitters.
Cons: Slightly endloaded but its still a great bat. feels like its an ounce heavier than it really is but doesnt take away the quality
Pros: has great pop if you hit it on the sweet spot. sweet spot is from end to about 5inches from the d fusion handle. there is no vibration which is great and the carbon on the handle really give it a good look. GREAT BAT!!!!!
Cons: when you hit the ball on the sweet spot, it almost flexes. this isnt exactly bad but it prevents from hitting the ball square on
Pros: this bat is amazing my friend hit 3 home runs in one game by the sound of the bat you can tell when its gonna be outta here i used it and hit a tripple and im a girl so thats pretty great ha this bat is worth it 100%
Cons: NONE!! its worth it
Pros: The ball just flies off the ball. Real fit for power hitter who wants to drive the ball hard. Total dominance at the plate
Cons: Very good bat except paint of the barrel and grip comes off quite quickly.
Pros: There is not many. I am not predominantly a power hitter so this may effect how this bat is used. It does not have much vibration unless you hit it near the handle.
Cons: Bad pop. Very end loaded.
Pros: Absolutely no vibrations. Ball jumps off the bat really well. Went op-o with my first hit felt really solid. Great buy when the Easton XLs are $400 Also great design.
Cons: None
Pros: great pop feels great grip good d fusion handle amazing
Cons: that you dont have it yet
Pros: great bat hits very well!
Cons: none
Pros: it has great pop and awesome sound
Cons: it takes a while to get used to end loaded
Pros: amazing pop nice sound and no break in period
Cons: grip not a big deal i just live snakeskin grip
Pros: Very great bat, the ball jumps off and the end load allows me to drop the head and drive it. I recommend it!!
Cons: paint chips a little
Pros: Nice sweet spot with amazing pop, and has a really nice ting when you make contact with it
Cons: None
Pros: with this bat i hit 28 home runs in only 34 games and i'm only in cub baseball but play on high school field and if i hit it on the hands i cant feel a thing
Cons: I wish they came out with it a lot sooner
Pros: This bat is very balanced and looks great. You feel almost no vibration and has a nice loud ping.
Cons: Demarini has not made any big changes, they have been selling the same stuff over and over. This bat does not have great pop but the ping covers it up. I would recommend Rawlings or Louisville Slugger, their bats are the best on the market right now.
Pros: this bat is amazing! the d-fusion handle is no joke. it really gets rid of all vibrations. i hit one off the hands in 30 degree weather and didn't feel a thing. the swing weight is also very balanced and the ball just flies off the bat. perfect for power hitters
Cons: none
Pros: I bought this bat a month or two ago and the bat sounded great and no matter where you hit the ball on the barrel it still has a lot of pop.
Cons: The grip tape started falling off the bat amd it became slippery afrer about 2 weeks
Pros: Amazing pop and very little vibration. One of the best bats I've ever swung.
Cons: Non what so ever
Pros: ive used this bat since it came out im going to highschool and used this bat bbcor model in cub baseball and i hit 49 homeruns 1 every game cause they go way farther than the most powerful bbcor bats i hit 1 that went almost 480 and im only 14
Cons: if they made a bat pack with the bbcor voodoo overlord with the bbcor cf6 for 290$
Pros: Great pop, no vibration in the hands, I've hit 7 monsterous home-runs with this bat, can't wait to see what Demarini will being out next year to replace this bat.
Cons: Everyone wants to use it.
Pros: im only 14 and i play on cub baseball which is on highschool field every pitch that i hit with the voodoo overlord is like the besr bat but when i get it in the air they aint comin back i hit 67 homeruns in 100 games and d fusion handle best vibration eliminator now cause of this bat my nickname is terminator
Cons: absolutly nothing
Pros: This bat is awesome. The way the bat is whieghted is great. Also the ball flys of of the barrel. I love the aluminum barrel because of the responsive feel.
Cons: Paint chips easy and grip comes off a little at the bottom
Pros: Pop off the bat from the start is fantastic. End loaded for the power hitter who likes line drives in the gap and lots of rib-bye steaks. Well worth the money.
Cons: Pop seemed muted by the 4th month of the season. Grip started falling off. Warning labels for use below 60 degrees F.
Pros: This bat is good all around, I have hovered around .500 the whole summer with my high school team. The little guys like me don't need to be afraid of the end load as I'm the smallest one on my team yet I hit the best on the team with bat.
Cons: I have had no problems so far.
Pros: It feels nice, when you hit the sweet spot it goes far.
Cons: If you miss the sweet spot, there is ridiculous vibration. Smaller barrel than the cf6
Pros: This bat is a 5 out of 5! It has very, very good pop. I've had this bat for a month and it is the best bat i;ve ever bought. Will be buying from DeMarini a lot more in the future.
Cons: None
Pros: This is an incredible bat! great pop, zero vibration and a big barrel all make this bat so great.
Cons: a little top heavy but its what you expect and want from a voodoo
Pros: No vibration whatsoever, i get jammed up real bad sometimes but it doesnt sting at all. Also has a good ping
Cons: This bat gets soo much hype but i really dont see why...the flex is ridiculous...its too much. A little is good but this bat feels like its bending 45 degrees when i hit it and generates no power. The 2012 version is better (prob the best of demarini). this bat just doesnt meet the standards i was looking for. The balance is totally off too. Its not end loaded, all the weight is between the handle and barrel so it can change your swing depending on how strong you are. Maybe its just me but I am not enjoying this bat.
Pros: great pop; looks nice. People say its top heavy but i really don't feel it.
Cons: grip becomes slippery without batting gloves.
Pros: I GO DEEP WITH THIS BAT I HIT MY FIRST LITTLE LEAGUE BOMB 482 FT NOT BAD FOR AN 12 YEAR OLD HUH
Cons: NONE
Pros: Amazing bat used it a whole season amazing pop no sting at all
Cons: Nothing
Pros: I used this bat my entire 14 year old career. Great Pop and i love the D-Fusion handle. Little to no vibration.
Cons: Buy an extra thing of bat grip because the grip falls off quite easily.
Pros: this bat has so much pop i always feel like i am going to hit home runs all day. this bat does feel like the weight it is supposed to be. this bat is mostly for hitters in the top of the line up but i would recommend it to everybody if u have a quick swing.
Cons: none
Pros: bat has a lot of power, nice feel, and bat reduces vibrations.
Cons: If used a lot in cold weather, it loses pop fast
Pros: i love the end loaded feel of the voodoo. lots of pop and minimal vibration thanks to the d-fusion connection piece. way better than any 500 dollar easton.
Cons: paint scratches but who cares doesent affect pop
Pros: pop is great I am a power hitter and is perfect no vibration d fusion works great !
Cons: little top heavy
Pros: bought bat for 14yr. old grandson it so for has performed very well no complaints
Cons: paint chips really easy could be a better quality
Pros: Very Good Handle, alot of Pop,good feel
Cons: None
Pros: feels great in the hands and ball exploads off the bat just came in today and i can already tell its going to be a good one
Cons: it says that it us supposed yo be a little end loaded which it is but not to much but for me a perfect ratio .im more of a contact hitter but the ball exploads off the bat
Pros: Nice bat,Great pop, Bat is balanced right
Cons: None
Pros: grate pop illuminates all vibrations to the hands and 1 of the Best bat you can bye
Cons: takes time to brake in
Pros: Went outside and tested it . Great everything . Highly recommend
Cons: nothing
Pros: I'm very picky about my bats and when I picked this bat up I loved it. I thought it was very balanced and the pop in this bat is just outstanding. I used this bat for about a year and it still has decent pop in it. Also a very large sweet spot and the vibration is very low.
Cons: Paint chips fairly easily but not a big issue.
Pros: Great pop, very natural feel for power hitters. Pretty durable overall. sick look and paint job.
Cons: Had it for a week, got slightly jammed and hit a foul ball, next pitch hit ball into center and it snapped in half where it connecter to the barrel.
Pros: Great pop has a great feel to it swings good. Easy to make solid contact and drive balls. Good line drive bat. lots of flex not sure if I like that.
Cons: Looks pretty bad but don't let that discourage you its not always all about the look. Not as end loaded as I expected
Pros: Bat is very end loaded, great for power hitters. The stock grip may be kind of thick, but otherwise is very good. Whenever a ball hits this bat's sweet spot, rest assured it will be hit HARD. It absolutely explodes off the barrel. No regrets about this purchase. 10/10 Would buy again.
Cons: None
Pros: its the perfect bat, absolutely zero vibration, more pop than any other bat ive ever swung, and the end-load gives it that extra power fir the long ball.
Cons: i didnt get it sooner
Pros: power hitters bat, great pop, end load feel , the ball explodes off the barrel. i finished my 8th grade year of Jr . high ball batting .728
Cons: grip tears easy.
Pros: This bat makes the ball go so far! The defusion handle works great better than any eastons.
Cons: none
Pros: Great pop end loaded with lots of power when broken in
Cons: Grip tape needs to be replaced after a little bit
Pros: From a guy who always preferred balanced bats, (Easton S2, etc.) this bat was a huge change. However, the end-loadedness of the bat helps keep you in the zone longer, and the incredible pop help spray balls out of the infield easier.
Cons: Grip tape is rough after a couple thousand swings
Pros: no sting when jammed. long barrel
Cons: grip tore. ball doesnt really shoot of the barrel. theres still vibration but atleast it doesnt sting. d-fusion part tore. overall not a good bat i bet 99% of the positive reviews were by kids who have that happy new bat excitedness when they posted
Pros: I have had the privilege to hit with this bat for a while now and it is great! It has amazing pop and it just explodes right off the bat. There is no vibration and its just my favorite bat.
Cons: None
Pros: Ball jumps off better than 5150! very hot! Looks good and great sound Bought -9 -5 & -3 for my sons Every player on team wants to use it
Cons: N/a
Pros: The bat feels great when you make contact. Great pop and well balanced.
Cons: grip started to rise but I just rewrapped it around the handle
Pros: Great pop off the bat. I like the feel of the bat also the handle seems just thick enough, but i also have big hands.
Cons: I do not like the heavy load on the end.
Pros: finally got this bat and wow is all i have to say. the ball simply jumps off the barrel and you cant feel a thing. if you're looking for a new or better bat buy this one, it will not dissapoint.
Cons: NONE
Pros: This bat is awesome right "Out of the box". Nice balanced feel but still a tinge front heavy so that you can really slam the ball. This bat is the best big barrel I've ever had.
Cons: Nothing at all.
Pros: This bat is light weight, easy to swing, no vibration. I have hit this bat several times, and love it. I'm a heavy hitter, and this is the best bat I have ever had.
Cons: None so far
Pros: There is some pop to it. This bat also has good durability. The paint job is pretty sweet too. And the price is very affordable.
Cons: The bat almost has the pop and feel of a wood bat. I did not pay $200 for a wood bat! The vibration is just okay, and it does not sound like a old Voodoo
Pros: Looks great and has great pop after about 300 swings no vibration at all.
Cons: Is a bit end loaded just takes a little time to get used to.
Pros: good
Cons: good
Pros: nice feel and great pop
Cons: grip gives me blisters but I will get batting gloves
Pros: This is a great bat for the price my son loves it great feel and no vibration. His batting avg. has gone up
Cons: Everybody on the teams wants to use it..
Pros: This bat is purely awesome. i used it all of last year with over 200 hits during practice and games and haven't had many problems. I am a smaller guy and i used to use the quick bats instead of the power bats, but this is a great bat for me. i ended up having the most hits and the most extra base hits and i'm the smallest guy on the team. I actually ended up having an umpire throw the bat onto the pavement, but even after the bat landed and rolled on the pavement there was barely any paint chipped and no dents so it holds up great!
Cons: I was using the bat in a tournament and the grip ripped in the middle exposing the handle, but a little tape fixed that and I haven't had any problem with the grip sense.
Pros: i swing with it for school baseball it is a great bat a lot of pop and just the ball comes off the bat great.
Cons: haven't found any.
Pros: Great feel just like the 2013 voodoo. I don't like the stiffer feel in the handle but it has nice pop but nothing compares to that 2013 voodoo.
Cons: None
Pros: Sweet looking bat. I dont usaually buy demarini but this bat looked sick! Good pop. Good sound. If you hit on the inside the vibration is limited but its still there
Cons: grip
Pros: the first time i hit with this bat it was a home run
Cons: bat tape could be better
Pros: Great pop End loaded No vibrations Love the sound of the bat
Cons: The bat will rattle, I first noticed the rattle after 1 week of usage. Although the rattle is annoying, it doesn't seem to affect the performance of the bat.
Pros: I am very pleased with this bat. It has a great feel to it. Has a very light swing weight compared to other bats. D-fusion handle is great it takes most of the vibration out.
Cons: The only thing is the grip gets slippery after using for a while if you don't wear batting gloves.
Pros: End loaded for the power hitter, and has great pop
Cons: I went through two of these within a year. Both snapped between the handle and barrel. Durability is low
Pros: This is the best bat ever
Cons: None
Pros: Great bat with that "ping sound" that we've all come to know and love. Great enloaded feel for the power hitting type player, like myself, that likes to feel the barrell through the hitting zone. Great bat overall!
Cons: Everyone one the team wants to use it.
Pros: Durable with good grip.
Cons: Has no pop other bats hit 30 yards further off of tee.
Pros: this was really my first more expensive bat and i havent felt one like this since. a great big sweet spot for great line drive. end loaded but has a great feel when you swing. by far my favorite bat ive ever swung, id take this over any mako or assualt any day
Cons: grip isnt great
Pros: great pop and no sting when you get jammed thanks to the d-fusion handle . It's really a great bat
Cons: nothing
Pros: great bat , pop is really good on it . never had any sting on my hands from getting jammed . Best bat i've ever used.
Cons: none
Pros: .Great pop .Doesn't feel like a drop 3 .Not a lot of vibration
Cons: .Handle rap falls off after not a lot of use
Pros: biggest sweet spot on any bbcor ive used other than the easton xl1. has great pop. dont waste ur money on the new model bc its the same bat and in my opinion this one looks cooler
Cons: a bit end heavy but its fine
Pros: This bat is amazing got to use it this season and had great hits. It has no vibration at all. The pop is pretty good.
Cons: non
Pros: good pop
Cons: the grip is horrible and the paint chips easy
Pros: Great bat great pop
Cons: if your the pitch its not a good thing
Pros: the bat was amaizng and had an enormous amount if pop and i loved it.
Cons: the bat made it through my highschool season but when i went into my summer league i got a few swings in and the barrel completly snapped off from the handle
Pros: Good grip feeling.
Cons: No pop. I can't get ball hitting distance. Swing is not smooth. Heavy end.
Pros: The Louisville Slugger has amazing pop. Not for power hitters. Amazing for line drives over the infield. The DeMarini Voodoo OVERLORD is an ok bat. It takes forever to break in but over all it is a good bat with good pop.
Cons: Louisville Slugger has a small barrel. DeMarini Voodoo OVERLORD is endheavy so I would not recommend for someone with bad bat control.
Pros: amazing pop and great feel
Cons: the grip wears down really fast. will need a new grip after a while.
Pros: Great feeling to the bat, great weight, no bad vibes so far, amazing pop. Hit my first triple ever with this bat. It is AMAZING!!
Cons: So far I haven't found any cons to this bat

About the Brand
In 1992, DeMarini Sports had something to celebrate. The three-year-old company had climbed a rung on the proverbial ladder of success, moving its world headquarters from a dirt-floored barn to a slightly larger metal shack. "It was a big move for us," recalled Ray DeMarini from the batting cage of DeMarini Sport’s present-day Bat Industrial Complex. "The new shop was larger, more storm resistant, and -best of all- it had a heater."
In the early days, DeMarini Sports hardly made a blip on the radar screen of softball. With no retailers and virtually no advertising budget, DeMarini grew steadily by selling high-performance bats directly to customers. While established companies made "juiced" bats for the pros and ordinary bats for the public, DeMarini focused on making one line of high-performance bats for pros and amateurs alike. This approach, combined with a passion for the sport, led to the greatest innovation in softball history - the world’s first multi-wall bat: the DeMarini Doublewall.
Released in 1993, the DeMarini Doublewall was the world’s first multi-wall bat. Like a modern golf driver or oversized tennis racket, the Doublewall had a giant "sweetspot," which allowed average players to hit like pros. DeMarini’s sales exploded, and before long opposing bat manufacturers to notice. DeMarini - a homegrown company led by a softball fanatic - had shaken the establishment silly.
To understand the rise of the DeMarini Dynasty, you need to know Ray DeMarini. A cult hero among avid players, Ray DeMarini emerged on the professional softball scene at the age of 40, a veritable geriatric among younger players. With a scientific approach to training, a batting speed of 96 miles-per-hour and a bombastic attitude, DeMarini fast earned a reputation as a savage competitor.
In June of 1987, ESPN launched a nationwide search for a hardcore player to advise on a series of instructional softball videos. When approached by producer Erich Lytle, the biggest boys in softball repeatedly spoke of a five-foot-seven softball giant—Ray DeMarini. DeMarini had mastered reflex hitting, a technique that drops the ball squarely between the infield and outfield. Impressed with DeMarini's knowledge and scientific approach to training, Lytle not only hired Ray as an advisor—he hired him as the host. Together, they produced Ray DeMarini's Reflex Hitting System, ESPN's most successful home video to date.
Having garnered national recognition through ESPN, Ray turned his efforts toward designing a high-performance bat for the masses. To accomplish this, he needed an engineer. "Not just an engineer," he said, "but a boot-strapping rocket scientist who could build an empire with pocket change." Ray's call was answered by Mike Eggiman. Having grown up on a farm, Eggiman was adept at making the most of a situation. Case in point: the company's first piece of automated bat-making equipment had the heart of an abandoned washing machine.
With Eggiman as Chief Engineer, DeMarini Sports delivered a series of industry firsts: the first multi-wall bat (Doublewall Distance), the first high-performance bat for massive players (Fatboy) and the first high-performance youth bat (Black Coyote).
In 2000, DeMarini joined forces with Wilson Sporting Goods to develop the next generation of hitting technology. Ray believed it was a perfect fit, as both companies shared a vision of developing game-enhancing equipment for avid players. What’s more, the companies had complimentary products: Wilson was the leader in gloves, balls and protective gear, while DeMarini made the world’s finest bats. According to Chris Considine, Vice President/General Manager of Wilson Sporting Goods: "The thing that struck me most about DeMarini was their passion for sports and their true competitiveness.
Within a year, DeMarini unveiled the industry’s first concept bat, the $35,000 F1. Secured under lock and key at the DeMarini Bat Industrial Complex in Hillsboro, Oregon, the F1 served as a technological storehouse for future products, including DeMarini’s landmark Half & Half system.
In December 2001, 12 years after the genesis of DeMarini Sports, Ray DeMarini died of cancer in his Northwest Portland home. He was 55. The next summer, the Portland Metro Softball Association paid homage to the “King of Softball” with the dedication of Ray DeMarini Field. Formerly known as Delta #1, the field was DeMarini’s favorite place to test bats during the early days of business. Ray DeMarini—bat maker and player extraordinaire—was remembered for his high-performance softball bats and unwavering encouragement of everyday players. Today, a 40-foot sign announcing RAY DEMARINI FIELD graces the outfield, and an interpretive display chronicling Ray’s life greets players as they register for games.
More "Insane Dedication to Performance" is in store for tomorrow.
