Pros: broke in 2 swings
Cons: but really light
Pros: I have had this bat for 5 seasons and it has never failed me yet. Home run every time baby!!!
Cons: It tried to use its Voodoo magic on me. I think it worked. ;)
Pros: very large sweetspot and a nice feel when hitting the ball. The D-fusion handle really maximizes pop and makes the handle stiffer but the barrel stronger. x10 alloy is my favorite alloy demarini has created. it has a great sound and its very responsive. the 2 5/8 barrel really works for me. i prefer it over the 2 3/4 because it makes the barrel lighter.
Cons: the grip isnt very good for what the price is
Pros: If you are looking for a all around great bat look no farther, this is it
Cons: the hole team is trying to get their hands on it
Pros: Excellent pop good distance good balance
Cons: expensive for an alloy bat more handle vibration then you would expect
Pros: Nice Pop, good feel.
Cons: Everyone on your team wants to get there hands on it.
Pros: Nice Ping and amazing pop. You do not even feel the ball when hit solid. THe only thing you know is that you hit it and you hit it HARD. I love it but the only bad thing is so does my team. Everyone uses it and we are hitting like crazy. Does not even feel end loaded but has tons of power. Cool graphic.
Cons: Deceptive about the end load. I went with a 31 22 but I could have easily swung a 32.
Pros: tried it at a demo house and nealy took my dads head off
Cons: feels a little heavy
Pros: I have used many bats over the years I have been playing baseball. I love the Voodoo Overlord, it has great pop and amazing power. I switched from the 2013 Voodoo to the Overlord several weeks ago, there is a noticeable difference, more pop, no vibration, incredible power when contact is made. A lot of kids on my team use the Voodoo Overlord. Doesn't feel top heavy, feels very balanced when I swing the bat. Is there a new 2015 model? I am sure my dad will buy it for me!
Cons: None.
Pros: -Great Pop -Light -No vibration -Not too expensive -The best bat ever
Cons: -Stings a little when you bunt
Pros: great balance good pop
Cons: none
Pros: very good bat it feels amazing and sounds amazing pop is incredible for a clean up hitter like me it is the best bat on the market
Cons: wish barrel was 2 3/4 inch and grip on the handle was better but still a great bat
Pros: The bat has so much pop and has no vibration. u cant even feel when u hit the ball
Cons: Grip tape. Get lizard skin tape
Pros: Great Pop once you break the bat in. IF you barrel up the ball it goes a long way. When I use it I fell almost no sting.
Cons: none
Pros: Lots of pop out of the wrapper. Way better than my s1. There is absolutely no vibration, even on off centered hits. I play 12AAA and I hit one easily 285 and was by far the farthest ball i've ever hit. The bat sounds great and everyone on my team wants to either use it or buy it. The bat looks great also and the D-Fusion handle is great.
Cons: Paint chips easily
Pros: Best Sr league bat on the market and we have tried them all.
Cons: Compared to other bats there are no cons with this bat.
Pros: My son had a 2 1/4" Demarini Voodoo two seasons ago and outgrew it and he wanted an Easton S2 for his next bat which has been a great bat also(he hit several out of the park home runs with it). He wanted to go back to the Demarini for his next bat because, in his words, "it feels good in your hands and swings nice". He was ready for a small jump in weight from his 28/18oz S2 but the length is still good for him. The graphics and paint on the two demarinis we have owned have been FAR superior to the Eastons/Maruccis we have owned. It looks like a durable bat, and my son likes it when in the cage and hitting soft toss/tee work. We will see how he likes it during games with the little bit of extra weight but the end load is deceptive as it feels like the same weight as the S2 which is a balanced bat. The S2 and the Voodoo are the most comparable with Alloy barrels and composite handles.
Cons: None.
Pros: no sting, great look, comfortable grip, nice pop
Cons: a little end loaded
Pros: this bat has insane pop and the ball explodes off the bat. it has that realy nice ping noise and i have used aluminum bats my whole life and i may never switch to composite because i am so costumed to the ping sound. it works as advertised. it is a bit heavy, probably because i got the 32/23 model, but i am able to get the bat around fast and i have hit BOMBS with this bat. i would recommend it to anybody.
Cons: grip is wearing down, but because i swing it every day and paint chips, but what are you going to do about that?
Pros: This bat is awesome!!
Cons: none
Pros: Fresh out of the box and my son loves this bat. Massive sweet spot. When he barrels-up the ball, look out! The current price on the 2014 can't be beat!
Cons: Too soon to truly rate durability, but so far, everything as promised.
Pros: This is a very sweet bat. No vibration awesome pop and grip is amazing.
Cons: everyone on my team wants to use it.
Pros: I love the ping sound and there is basically no vibration. I really like the grip even though it can be better.
Cons: I probably could of swung a 32in but i bought a 31in because its end loaded.
Pros: This is a very good bat. I hit with it the other day and every hit is solid and feels like butter. No sting what so ever. Has very good pop. I would recommend this bat.
Cons: Their is nothing bad about this bat.
Pros: I made my son a bet when I got this bat, if he hit a home run with it I would give him 100 dollars. Yesterday was his first game, and he was up to the plate his second at bat, and he smacked one over the fence. He had been using a combat, which was composite and never got close to hitting a home run. This is a great bat and he loves it.
Cons: Lost my $100.
Pros: We were looking for a senior league big barrel for my son for Christmas. Got this bat as the deal of the day after the new model came out. First 2 at bats crushed the ball for 2 triples and a pair of RBIs. Another player on our team hit a homerun with this bat. Came back in the dugout screaming, "I love your bat!" This bat pretty much every other plate appearance after that. Well worth the money. Great find for the price!
Cons: None so far!
Pros: Best bat ever
Cons: Nothing
Pros: tons of pop and great feel. barely feel anything when i hit it off the sweet spot.
Cons: nothing wrong with this bat
Pros: This bat is the best on the market! My son is hitting the ball to the fence every time! Has a much larger sweet spot and, because of the way the handle is made, it doesn't sting his hands when he hits the ball.
Cons: Haven't found a con with this bat yet!
Pros: Best bat ever! Right out of the box I was hitting bombs. You dont feel a thing when you hit the ball. Even in on the hands or at the end of the bat you feel very little vibration. This would be a great bat to purchase.
Cons: none
Pros: Has Great pop. I was hitting with it at practice and hit 5 into the parking lot. The D-Fusion handle makes it so whenever you get jammed it doesn't sting at all.
Cons: None what so ever
Pros: Nice looking Got it on sale
Cons: I read the reviews and bought this as a bat for my son to use as he transitions into kid pitch. The reviews led me to believe it had very good to great pop. Well not so fast, my sons bat speed was a bit slower but the bat had just avg pop. The sweet spot also seems small. Only had the bat for a week so I will keep letting him switch back and forth from old bat. Also he was using an Easton xl3 which he loves
Pros: its so good first game homerun
Cons: nothing
Pros: I dont know much about bats, but my son loves his and is having a great season so far.
Cons: I havent heard anything negative from him.
Pros: My son loves his new bat.
Cons: He needs to grow into the weight of it.
Pros: ,
Cons: ,
Pros: This bat amazing pop no vibration and is a great bat.
Cons: NONE THAT I HAVE FOUND YET
Pros: Very good bat ,my son loves it. It has great pop good feel
Cons: none so far
Pros: It a perfect bat
Cons: Nothing
Pros: bought this for my son and he loves it once again deMarini nails it, large sweet spot, no vibration, he's had no complaints on the end load or overall feel of the bat. As advertised its the real deal love it!!!!!
Cons: none
Pros: the bat has sooooooo much power and feels awesome.
Cons: nothing for me.
Pros: DeMarini has never steered us wrong. Every bat purchase simply elevates the game one more notch. Every bat has been durable and continues to perform. This bat has great pop and for my son, in his words "This bat makes me feel very dangerous at the plate". The slightly end load makes him feel the batter better in his hands and the sweet spot is great. He's a bit more of a power hitter than hitting to contact but others on the team started using his bat too because of how good it feels and how well they're hitting with it.
Cons: Small paint chip in the first week of real use (after break in). It's of no impact to the bat's performance purely a cosmetic thing. That's why the 4 instead of a 5 on durability. Although this is the first DeMarini bat (own 4) that has shown any signs of wear, scratching, etc. and still no dents on any of the other DeMarini bats, while we watch others complain about their Eastons denting.
Pros: this is by far the best bat i have ever used it is more pop then any other bat on the market if you make solid contact with this bat you will get at lest a very hard grounder. i used a mako for a while before i got this bat and i would pick this bat over it any day. this bat will make you a much better hitter and will turn you into a power hitter even if your not i would highly recomend this bat to anybody who wants to be a much better hitter
Cons: after you get a hit with this bat and you drop it/ throw it will sratch the barrel a little bit
Pros: When u hit the ball Good u didn't feel it
Cons: No pop I went from an xl1 to this and there is a massive difference the voodoo has no pop at all and there is multiple chips
Pros: great bat. lots of pop, i had i 2 1/4 barrel but still has tons of pop. really like the d-fusion. takes away all sting unless hit of the composite. rate 10/10
Cons: stinks when other team has the same bat
Pros: Composite handle is nice. Barrel had good length. Can get around on the ball.
Cons: A bit top heavy and shows dents.
Pros: Tons of pop in this bat easy to swing no vibration great price for it and the ping sound is great definitely will get a new one for highschool in a year or so after my mizuno generation bbcor
Cons: Nothing bad to say
Pros: Got a really great price and has most of the qualities I look for in a bat. Puts a tremendous amount of force on the ball letting it sail through the air smooth.
Cons: Paint chips so quick you realize it right when it happens
Pros: Good pop, strong easy to swing bat
Cons: the grip is very poor, recommend buying a new one
Pros: really quick through the zone its sweet spot is awesome i hit a ball where you would usually get that sting and i felt nothing
Cons: nothing overall amazing

About the Brand
In 1992, DeMarini Sports had something to celebrate. The three-year-old company had climbed a rung on the proverbial ladder of success, moving its world headquarters from a dirt-floored barn to a slightly larger metal shack. "It was a big move for us," recalled Ray DeMarini from the batting cage of DeMarini Sport’s present-day Bat Industrial Complex. "The new shop was larger, more storm resistant, and -best of all- it had a heater."
In the early days, DeMarini Sports hardly made a blip on the radar screen of softball. With no retailers and virtually no advertising budget, DeMarini grew steadily by selling high-performance bats directly to customers. While established companies made "juiced" bats for the pros and ordinary bats for the public, DeMarini focused on making one line of high-performance bats for pros and amateurs alike. This approach, combined with a passion for the sport, led to the greatest innovation in softball history - the world’s first multi-wall bat: the DeMarini Doublewall.
Released in 1993, the DeMarini Doublewall was the world’s first multi-wall bat. Like a modern golf driver or oversized tennis racket, the Doublewall had a giant "sweetspot," which allowed average players to hit like pros. DeMarini’s sales exploded, and before long opposing bat manufacturers to notice. DeMarini - a homegrown company led by a softball fanatic - had shaken the establishment silly.
To understand the rise of the DeMarini Dynasty, you need to know Ray DeMarini. A cult hero among avid players, Ray DeMarini emerged on the professional softball scene at the age of 40, a veritable geriatric among younger players. With a scientific approach to training, a batting speed of 96 miles-per-hour and a bombastic attitude, DeMarini fast earned a reputation as a savage competitor.
In June of 1987, ESPN launched a nationwide search for a hardcore player to advise on a series of instructional softball videos. When approached by producer Erich Lytle, the biggest boys in softball repeatedly spoke of a five-foot-seven softball giant—Ray DeMarini. DeMarini had mastered reflex hitting, a technique that drops the ball squarely between the infield and outfield. Impressed with DeMarini's knowledge and scientific approach to training, Lytle not only hired Ray as an advisor—he hired him as the host. Together, they produced Ray DeMarini's Reflex Hitting System, ESPN's most successful home video to date.
Having garnered national recognition through ESPN, Ray turned his efforts toward designing a high-performance bat for the masses. To accomplish this, he needed an engineer. "Not just an engineer," he said, "but a boot-strapping rocket scientist who could build an empire with pocket change." Ray's call was answered by Mike Eggiman. Having grown up on a farm, Eggiman was adept at making the most of a situation. Case in point: the company's first piece of automated bat-making equipment had the heart of an abandoned washing machine.
With Eggiman as Chief Engineer, DeMarini Sports delivered a series of industry firsts: the first multi-wall bat (Doublewall Distance), the first high-performance bat for massive players (Fatboy) and the first high-performance youth bat (Black Coyote).
In 2000, DeMarini joined forces with Wilson Sporting Goods to develop the next generation of hitting technology. Ray believed it was a perfect fit, as both companies shared a vision of developing game-enhancing equipment for avid players. What’s more, the companies had complimentary products: Wilson was the leader in gloves, balls and protective gear, while DeMarini made the world’s finest bats. According to Chris Considine, Vice President/General Manager of Wilson Sporting Goods: "The thing that struck me most about DeMarini was their passion for sports and their true competitiveness.
Within a year, DeMarini unveiled the industry’s first concept bat, the $35,000 F1. Secured under lock and key at the DeMarini Bat Industrial Complex in Hillsboro, Oregon, the F1 served as a technological storehouse for future products, including DeMarini’s landmark Half & Half system.
In December 2001, 12 years after the genesis of DeMarini Sports, Ray DeMarini died of cancer in his Northwest Portland home. He was 55. The next summer, the Portland Metro Softball Association paid homage to the “King of Softball” with the dedication of Ray DeMarini Field. Formerly known as Delta #1, the field was DeMarini’s favorite place to test bats during the early days of business. Ray DeMarini—bat maker and player extraordinaire—was remembered for his high-performance softball bats and unwavering encouragement of everyday players. Today, a 40-foot sign announcing RAY DEMARINI FIELD graces the outfield, and an interpretive display chronicling Ray’s life greets players as they register for games.
More "Insane Dedication to Performance" is in store for tomorrow.
