Description

There are 3 constants when it comes to slow pitch players and their bats. They want a bat that's hot out of the wrapper, they're always looking for the next best thing, and they prefer either a balanced or end-loaded design. Raw Power is Easton's answer. The Raw Power line features the B-Series that offers evenly balanced designs for controlled power, and the L-Series that offers end-loaded designs for absolute maximum power. Part of the L-Series, the L2.0 has a specific end-load weight called out at the end of its 12 inch barrel: 26oz = 1oz load, 27oz = 2oz load, 28oz = 3oz load, 30oz = 4oz load. The L2.0 is Brian Wegman's pro model and features Easton's Single System Composite Design. The barrel is constructed from Easton's trademark IMX Composite for an optimal sweet spot and maximum performance, while SIC Black Carbon is added to the handle to make this the BEST feeling composite bat you'll EVER swing. This handle is wrapped with an ultra-thin gauze grip that is perfect for players that like tack without the bulkiness of many modern grips. The time is now to bring Raw Power to YOUR game. Easton: Engineered for Glory! The L2.0 is approved for play in USSSA, NSA, ISA, and ISF. It is backed by a Full Six (6) Month Manufacturer's Warranty. Free Shipping!

Pros: Bat felt amazing right out of the wrapper, after 50 hits I can tell it was opening up. I love the design on this bat, it's simple and nice. If you like endload bats than definitely give this one a try!.

Cons: I'm a Hardcore DeMarini guy but this new L2 has open my eye's up!.

Pros: 27oz Peeled the wrapper off last night for a double header. I hit bombs and lazers all night. It has real good pop right out of the wrapper. It will be sick when it gets broke in.

Cons: The 2oz end load is very noticeable.

Pros: When broken in, this is by far the best bat that our team has. Everything flies off of this bad boy. It feels great coming off the barrel. Give it a chance and you wont be upset.

Cons: Unlike others who say it is hot right out of the wrapper it took mine some time to break in. After about a 100 or so hits it started to really feel good. Really stiff as well for the first few dozen or so hits.

Pros: Hard line drives and looks good.

Cons: 2oz end-load is noticeable. I feel as if it slows down my bat speed through the zone. Sweet spot is small. Handle stings even with composite. There is a very light tap on the handle. Flush hits do not seem to be as hard a hit as other bats. Worth Jeff Hall bat for example, a flush hit in that bat from me goes 320 ft. easily. With this bat it is 290 ft. I'm 5'10" 190 lbs. If you love Eastons I would suggest the L1.0 instead, otherwise I would go with Worth bats.

Pros: This bat is awesome. Takes a little while to break in but once it does the ball just flies right off of it. I came from a Miken Freak and this thing is much better.

My new gamer Quietstorm player

Pros: Great stick! Hot right out the wrapper. First at bat hit a bomb. Bat has a great feel and I love the grip. Bat has solid end load but isn't too much. Great bat for power hitter.

Cons: My decal started to peel a little on endcap, but other than that this was money well spent.

Great Bat Mike player

Pros: Once you break the bat in (about 50 swings) the bats pop really shows. Have been able to hit some moon shots as well as sharp liners.

Cons: None yet. Make sure you break the bat in and you will be fine.

I know these bats are made for the new Hot Dot balls .52 300 compression. But can you still hit other balls with them and not damage them? I have heard the might crack with the higher compression balls? Jay Rock
The 2014 Easton L2.0 Brian Wegman Pro Model: SP13L2 is actually a non-ASA approved bat that will still hit just fine with the higher compression softballs.
Tyler
What does the L2.0 mean? I saw on the other bats L5.0 and L4.0. malsy
The L2.0 in the 2014 Easton L2.0 Brian Wegman Pro Model: SPO13L2 is the model name, and different models have different material compositions. This L2.0 is a one-piece bat constructed with the SIC Black Carbon Composite Handle and IMX Composite Barrel.

Why have the new model of bats gone to a six month warranty? chachi
Unfortunately, we don't have any information as to why Easton changed their warranty to six months for the 2014 Easton L2.0 Brian Wegman Pro Model: SP13L2 and their other slow pitch bats. I recommend contacting Easton at 1-888-259-1297.
Tyler
How does this model hit the 52. cor 275 comp balls? Basically, i'm looking for a new USSSA bat that hits the "softer " balls well. JDS
All of the new 2013 and 2014 bats are designed for the new softer balls. The 2014 Easton L2.0 Brian Wegman Pro Model: SP13L2 Slow Pitch would be a great option.
Brandon
I have heard that the new composite bats actually lose pop over time compared to the older models that of course got better as time went on. I heard this at a captains meeting so it's at least from a somewhat credible source. On the other hand I have heard from many other players this is a fallacy. Could you shed some light on the issue? Aaron
Composite barrel bats like the 2014 Easton L2.0 Brian Wegman Pro Model: SP13L2 Slow Pitch will get hotter the more that he are used just like the old models. The composite material is upgraded on a regular basis for a higher performing, more durable bat.
Kara
Is this bat legal in a lower division ASA? gleason
No, the 2014 Easton L2.0 Brian Wegman Pro Model: SP13L2 Slow Pitch bat will be approved for play in USSSA, NSA, ISA, and ISF.
Brandon
What's the difference between the 2013 and 2014 model of the L2.0? Murph
The 2014 Easton L2.0 Brian Wegman Pro Model: SP13L2 Slow Pitch bat is currently the only L2.0 model from Easton. Some websites list this bat as a 2013 model, but it is the same model. The Brian Wegman Synergy Tri-Zone: SCN20BW would be the most similar 2013 Easton model to the L2.0. The most noticeable difference is that the Tri-Zone featured IMX composite throughout its one-piece design, and the L2.0 contains the SIC Black Carbon composite material in the handle.
Mac
What is the best softball for this bat? COR and compression. My league is USSSA and allows up to .47. I want a ball that will fly off the bat. LONG BALL! Ward
Either .40 core / 325 compression or .52 core / 275 compression are good balls for the 2014 Easton L2.0 Brian Wegman Pro Model.
Damon
I want this bat, but in an ASA version. I own the L6.0, which is an ASA version of the L5.0, But I can't find the ASA version of the 2.0. Walter Deuce
They only make the 2014 Easton L2.0 Brian Wegman Pro Model: SP13L2 Slow Pitch in a USSSA model. You will not be able to find this bat with an ASA stamp unfortunately.
Noah
The 2014 Easton B2.0: SP13B2 is essentially the same make up as the 2014 Easton L2.0 Brian Wegman Pro Model: SP13L2, except the 13.5" barrel and balanced feel? Greeni
