Yellow Coating is cracking FunkyMark coach
Pros: Feels good, looks good, hits good, has pop.
Cons: Our new 2014 XL1 is starting to crack. The yellow coating is cracking after 1 game and two practices...I like the 2012 XL1 better, did not have any funky coating... The 2012 XL1 had no dents or cracks, just lost it's "POP" and Easton placed it under the warranty with the 2014 XL1 bat, so we have been using it for two weeks now.

Huge sweet spot Gage player
Pros: I am 12 yr old, play travel allstar. I had not hit a home run yet so my Dad got me the Skils Hurricane 4 swing trainer. After 2 weeks of 100-200 cuts per day, I hit my 1st home run. Then I got the Easton XL1. My very 1st day using the XL1 was awesome, hit a grand slam. The bat has tons of pop compared to my old bat the Combat B4.
Cons: Only con is it lasts about 2 years
great bat nick player

One of the Best!!! Vinnie coach
Pros: Awesome bat for my son!!! Purchased this bat in a 29" for him when facing 12-13 year olds (he is 10). He is a strong kid, and uses a 32" Mako normally but this bat is what he needed to keep up with the older kids.
Cons: None

Pros: this bat has a lot of pop! the xl1 is slightly heavier than the mako. i hit 5 home runs already in the season! you should really buy this bat
Cons: why is there room for cons for the xl1
Amazing. Hitter player
Pros: This bat has a HUGE sweetspot. The bat allows the player to hit a ball off of the hands to the fence. Worth the money.
Cons: When the ball is hit at the end of the bat, it stings alot.
AMAZING!!! MZ parent
Pros: This bat is all it's cracked up to be and then some! My son used the bat in his season opener and hit the ball out of the park with little effort. All last season he hit the top of the fence or dropped at the bottom.....struggling to get the ball out. First time in action with this bat....it went straight out. I asked if he felt sting or vibration and he said "not at all!" Looks great, sounds amazing, easy to handle, A+ performance.
Cons: Not sure about durability just yet. I have seen a nick already with little use. Only used once in game and some practice off the catapult at home. Bed stays in his room under his bed. price tag - high tag, but well worth the money in it's performance.
Best bat ever David Rowe player
Pros: the best bat in the world incredible pop
Cons: nothing
XL1 has pop The Hat player
Pros: I went from an easton S1 to XL1 and I have never felt a better feel and pop out of the 5 easton's I have been threw. The easton XL1 is a bat that if you make contact it is going to go far. It is also a bat that you half to be a little more on the strong side if its going to go far the mako is lighter and is easier to swing. Over all the XL1 has pop and goes further.
Cons: If only it was a different color
Magic Bat Baseballkid12 player
Pros: everything best bat I have ever swung I am 12 and swinging this bat 100 at bats hitting 6.50 avg.

Best Bat BaseballGuy player
Pros: Probably the best youth bat ever made. You don't even have to try and the ball goes flying. No vibration whatsoever
Cons: The new paint job makes it less durable
Balanced Bat haflinger parent
Pros: Very balanced for the weight! More hits with this bat than the S1 Easton for my son. He loves the low vibration and easy swing power of this bat.
Cons: We worry about the composite material getting damaged in the cold.

Better than mako Anonymous parent
Pros: My 8 yr old has the xl1 in a 29/19 and a mako in a 29/18. Not a big kid. 4'4" and 69 pounds. He consistently hits the ball further with the xl1. Has hit several 180ft. If your son has the bat speed to swing the xl1 it is superior to the mako. Has a great sound when hit solidly.
Cons: End load may not be great for some.
isaiah head isaiahh player

Best power bat out DJ 42 player
Pros: I had the 2012 xl1 and it was the best bat I've ever swung. It was flat out amazing. But this year i purchased the 32 22 and i absolutely love it. Incredible amount of pop, it feels great when swinging. And for a end loaded bat, its very balanced. I definitely would suggest this bat to anyone who can get a larger bat around.
Cons: None.

TO GOOD TO BE TRUE Baseball hall of fame player
Pros: its so amazing i cant exsplain it
Cons: nothing
Bomb dropping bat Mack Palmer player
Pros: I have so much to say. But to make it short it is the best bat ever It has the nicest sound and the ball flyes of the bat. I've hit 7 line drive home runs with this thing. I recommend it for the strong hitter who hits bombs like me. I'm 13 but in little league. 318 ft is farthest hit with bat
Cons: I've lost so many baseballs I can't count anymore. Get this bat now!!!!!!!!!!
AWESOME The player player
Pros: Everything
Cons: none
I like the title. Joseph Fox player
Pros: I think that the pop that you can get when you get ahold of one is phenomenal. Also, the gripping is feels like a cushion (of sorts) on your hands. Finally, even when you hit the ball off the tip or in a funny spot on the bat, your hands will not sting.
Cons: N/A
bomber player
Pros: While having the XL1 for only two days, I hit a bomb out of a field I have been trying to with my fully broken - in mako. Great feel, pop, and durability. I recommend this bat to everyone.
Cons: none yet
Amazing Bat-Man other
Pros: Light but hits the ball far. Lots and lots of pop.
Cons: None
Good bat TJ player
Pros: Amazing bat, pop after first bp. At first i was a contact hitter but now I'm hitting bombs over the fence almost ever time. Really increased my power. I'm 13 hitting it over on 250 fields with this.
Cons: Chips at the end of the bat. Slightly heavy at first had to get used to it. Only for strong hitters.
loved it Jacob player
Pros: im not much of a power hitter but I play for a travel team and when i hit with this bat it goes far. It has a huge sweet spot. And when u make contact it is hard hit
Cons: It stings when you get jammed
Easton needs to address durability Little League Dad parent
Pros: This bat pops. Both kids (9 and 11) had used the S-1 and S-2's for the past year and couldn't get it over the fence. Put an XL1 30/-10 in their hands and they started flying!
Cons: Easton needs to address the durability of this bat ASAP! We have gone thru 2 in 18 games.....not good! Bat has spider cracks at the meat of the barrel in each instance. Kudos to their customer service though....replaced without question. The only problem is it takes 10 days!
worth the price Ryan player
Pros: Has a ton of pop. No vibration . The durability is awesome
Cons: No cons it's a great batryan
Better than Mako Connor Shay player
Pros: The XL1 is better than the mako you may think to get the Mako first because its lighter and "has more pop" but the XL1 is just different. The XL1 maybe heavier but to me it feels fitting in my hands and easier to handle. Overall the XL1 is better than the mako and has way more pop.
Cons: The paint can chip off
Good Bat with Some Flaws 11-Year Old AAU Baseball Player player
Pros: This is a very good bat with pop. I have started to rope the ball with this. A little on the heavy side, but I used to be a contact hitter. Not anymore. The grip is nice and the giant sweet spot makes it easy to make solid contact.
Cons: Paint does chip, but replacement is easy. Also, only for the stronger hitters. It is very heavy.
"BEST OF ALL BATS!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Luke player
Pros: I hit my first home run with it and made all-stars
Cons: everyone wants to use it
Good Bat Tose coach

Easton XL1 Chase Hanselman player
Pros: Has a ton of pop... Some people say the Mako and XL1 aren't even comparable because the Mako is that much better but I think the XL1 is every bit as good as the Mako!!
Cons: Lots of people want to use it after they see how good it is.
best bat out there all stars player player
Pros: this bat has a lot of pop don't use 300$ on a mako this bat has way more pop durability can not feel any sting what so ever this bat feels great in my hands i use 29 19 and i cant get over how great it feels i used to be afraid to swing cuz my hands would hurt not any more i have been cranking the ball so far also the bat has the biggest sweet spot i took my 30 20 mako and my 29 19 xl1 it still has way more barrel do not worry if they say the paint chips off easy thats only if your hitting stuff your not supposed to like rocks and other bats try to hit 100 baseballs before try to hit in a game just to break it in you hit bombs with this bat i hit a line drive over right fielders head he just looked down lol :)))))))))))))))))))))))) WARNING DO NOT USE IN THE COLD easier. to get dented in the cold when u hit with it but there aren't going to be a ton of freezing cold games

Get The Mako James parent
Pros: Had all the right hype in reviews. The price was good at Just Bats.
Cons: Couldn't wait to try this bat out for my 11 year old son who is a power hitter usually able to hit home runs at will in practice. He blew out his other Easton Omen bat, which was a super bat, and this was the replacement. I threw him about 55 hard balls, and not one went over the fence. In fact, he usually gets about five home runs per bucket in practice, and with his new XL1 never even hit the fence. The sound of the hits were dull, and the impact was not impressive. The balls had no velosity at all. Very disappojnted in this bat. Will sell on Craigs List and get the Mako or Voodoo.
Ok Jake player
Pros: Good pop and good grip. Nice bat.
Cons: The paint coating chipped after the first day of use, cheap material. Non of the other bats do. I hope to get a new one.
AWESOME JD coach
Pros: Right out of the plastic the ball flies off this bat, hard grounders, line drives, home runs, doesn't matter. My son hit a shot down 3rd in All Stars and the 3rd baseman just moved out of the way and wanted nothing to do with it. Even when he miss hits, witch he does, the ball is still coming off the bat harder than any other bat he's has used (MAKO/CF6/COMBAT B4) The don't compare. Had the 2011 and the end cap came off after 2 seasons of LL and travel ball. Easton replaced with a 2014 3 months past warranty expiration. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE.
Cons: None
Great bat Ryan player
Pros: The xl1 is a great bat, so easy to swing. Great pop that lasts a long time, worthy of the price.
Cons: Cracks easily and stings a little bit in colder weather.
holy pop Big Red Machine player
Pros: i suggest that everybody reading this to purchase this bat now!!!!!! it has a great feel and massive pop. i recently hit my first home run with this bat at the cooperstown dreams park.

Pros: every thing is great about the xl1 to pop to contact . this is the best bat I've ever had my hole team loves it there always wanting to use it
Cons: none at all best bat ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Has Pop DEE parent
Pros: Large sweet spot. If your player can swing it, it will not disappoint. Son hit is second homerun in our district tourney(age 7). Then later hit one foul 250ft. WAY out of the park. But like I said, it is a handful to swing.
Cons: Price. But isn't too bad compared to the market.
The Bomb Mark coach
Pros: It has a great pop and my son thinks it has a AWESOME feel!
Cons: Everyone wants to use it and i lose lots of baseballs.
Hoping that this bat will break in and get better baseball dad coach
Pros: Great looking , semi durable.
Cons: Extreme end loaded, not seeing the pop from the bat even though we have gone through the breaking in process as prescribed. Getting stinging vibration on end hit balls. I am comparing this bat to a 31/21 Combat Pure Gear that we used for spring baseball. Hands down the Combat is better.... so far. I am really hoping that this bat will break in soon.
#33 player
Pros: Amazing bat !!! realy good pop and hit I hit my first home run with it !!!!!
Cons: My teammates always want to use it .
Awesome Ryan P parent
Pros: My son loves this bat. Lots of pop and no vibration. Big sweet spot. This bat has boosted his confidence and we would definitely recommend it. The bat is a little heavier then he's used to he went from a 29-17 to the 30-20 XL1 but he's getting it around and the results are noticeable. We are very happy with the purchase and Just Bats price matched and we got a great deal.
Cons: None yet.

for power hitters anonymous player
Pros: This bat is great for power hitters, it is made so it is difficult to miss the sweet spot. the ball flies off this bat like no other little league bat, except possibly the mako. No dents or cracks yet.

Cons: this bat for power hitters
nothing wrong with this bat Ryan player
Pros: This bat is not just your dream bat. It is everyone's! I have been trying to hit a home run over the super far fence for 2 1/2 years! I used to swing a mako and it worked out pretty well. Though the only problem was that I could only hit doubles and singles. Halfway through the year I bought this bat and the next game I hit 2 triples a HOME RUN it was a miracle. By the end of my season I had the highest batting average on my team (687) and the most homers. Awesome!!
